I'm not kidding you when I say I spent three hours with him last week trying on almost every pair in the store whilst having such a great conversation about everything under the sun. Paul never once pressured me or rushed me and when I was getting ready to leave without purchasing a pair he didn't even seem annoyed. I did ultimately wind up buying a pair that day with progressive transition lenses and everything came out perfect! Read the other reviews and you will see mentions of Paul and what a great person he is. Buying an (in my case) expensive pair of eyeglasses is already a very stressful situation. You want to make sure you're making the right choice and it's not always possible to know just from trying on a pair in the store whether or not you're ultimately gonna like them. At the very least, having a great sales person to help you through the process makes the experience so much more enjoyable, and puts you at ease. Go in to Caserta, check out some amazing new and vintage frames and have a conversation with a native New Yorker who knows his stuff! Dr. Chen spent a good amount of time with me and made sure that the new prescription was going to be perfect. I haven't picked up the new prescription yet, but I'm confident that it will be perfect. The staff member who took my order was professional, courteous and knowledgeable. I'm able to keep my computer glasses while the lenses are readied; I just have to budget an hour for the lenses to be put into the frames. I was also very impressed with the store's lift for persons in wheelchairs or users of walkers, rollators, canes, etc.
