First time traveling the southwest and stopped at this place for a late dinner.. Def felt weird as this was for sure Trump country (As per the signs all over the bar). Stopped on the way to Vegas. The food was great. Pretty much a dive bar but this is not a bad thing. The service was the best I've gotten in a long time. She made sure that my Diet Coke was kept separate from my SO's regular coke- a literal lifesaver as I'm diabetic and regular soda does horrible things to me. Loved their take on french fries. This place is a Country dive style bar. If you're expecting fancy, this isn't your place. It is by no means run down or dirty though. Inside was clean and well put together. The owners were there and were very nice to talk with. The bartenders were very nice and attentive. The bar was full, I took the last seat in the far corner. It was maybe a minute before I was asked what I wanted to drink. I was told by numerous people that they have an amazing burger, I'll have to come back another time to try it. I went in on a Tuesday so I got their tacos. If you have a craving for some steak tacos, you MUST stop here. The tacos were amazing and had so much flavor! They had really good happy hour prices and their prices after happy hour were still really good. Suprise stop for dinner turned out to be a hidden jem!! Burgers were great, chicken wings, and quesadillas you cant go wrong. Drinks were plenty and the local beer hit the spot. All the food we tried was so good and my burger was seriously the best one I've had in a while. Don't let the multi-colored Christmas lights on the outside fool you...this place isn't that nice! If you can find the front door (instead of going through the back smoking area...at the front of the building) make sure your tetanus shots are up to date. Went in with high hopes based on other Yelp reviews, but upon entering, I wasn't sure what was worse; the dirty floor, the peeling wall paint, the sticky-looking bar or the smell! Was looking forward to trying the wings but I gotta as concerned I would either find a cockroach or a lead-based paint chip in my food. I love dive bars and hole-in-the-walls but this place couldn't possibly get an honest five-star review. read more

Traveling from Phoenix to Vegas and found this gem on Yelp. I admit when we pulled up I wasn't sure I wanted to go in, but so glad we did. I had the 5 cheese grilled cheese and my husband had the hamburger. We both agreed our meals were some of the best we had ever eaten. Loved the home sliced fries also. Service was great. Served on a sturdy bun that absorbs the copious juiciness and still holds together. I tried the fried pickle (weak), onion rings (crisp & crunchy), fries (brilliant unusual traverse slices, like silver dollars). All in all, I have had burgers all over Kingman. This is the first time I've gotten really mislead by reviews on Yelp. Was driving from Flagstaff to Lake Havasu and knew I'd be ready for a break and lunch about the time I hit Kingman. I love a good burger so did a search and found this place with a 5-star rating. I arrived just after Noon, actually worried that I might have trouble getting in. I walked in to find every table empty, and 2 guys sitting at the bar. My first thought was to leave but I'd seen the ratings and decided to give it s try so I sat down at s table. Two or three minutes later someone finally came out of the back, saw me and came over to see what I wanted. I asked for a menu. The bartender finally came over to take my order. I went with a burger, onion rings and a diet coke. She brought my drink then parked herself behind the bar taking to the 2 guys sitting there. Another gal showed up with a basket containing the sandwich and onion rings. I had to ask for silverware and napkins.She cane back with a plastic fork and knife plus s couple napkins. The bun wasn't very fresh and the burger from many fast food place would be far better. My drink was empty after my first few bites but nobody ever came back to my table. When I was finished eating, i walked up to the bar to pay. This place is a dive bar with mediocre food and terrible service, don't waste your time. Should have gone to McDonald's. read more

Great local joint. Excellent food. Quiet home town crowd. 2 pool tables, boxing, darts for entertainment. Can be slow due to low staff. Staff is amazing, friendly, efficient, but sometimes only one worker. An awesome place for a burger and good commercial beer (Lagunitas IPA, mudsharks). It is without a doubt more of a country/ biker style dive bar as other have mentioned but it was exactly what i needed after 1000 miles on the road. I stopped in to grab a burger and a drink after a long day of driving. When I walked in and heard the Chris stapleton playing and smelt the food from the kitchen I thought me and this place would get along just fine. I sat at the bar and ordered a spicy bloody mary (double of course) and a burger and both were off the chart good. The young lady working in the kitchen sure knew how to cook a damn fine burger and the other young lady behind the bar made me the hands down best bloody mary I have had that I can even remember. Now again its a divish type bar. So don't come in here expecting fine dinning or even a dang applebees type atmosphere. But for a good burger and drink this is the spot. read more
