There are about 5-6 employees working at a time and if they aren't bugging you after initially entering the store and want some time to look around, they ignore you. You can set up an appointment online or use the kiosk when you get there. The gun counter line closes at 8 PM on weekdays, so keep that in mind. The employees I dealt with were friendly, professional, and helpful throughout the process. Overall, a really good experience.

With rows and rows of tackle, I am able to find most lake specific lures, weights, bait, hooks, etc. Sometimes I have to go to the store at the lake itself and get even more specific items, but BPS usually has what I need. Whenever I enter the store, the personnel always ask if I need help or direct me to the area where more specific help can be found. Moreover, the store is dog friendly and has dog treats at the ready. Occasionally, BPS will host a Monday club night whereby if you are a BPS club member, you can stand in line to get a light meal and enter a raffle to win items, but I recommend you go early and stand in line or else there will be no more food left.
