I tried birria tacos for the first time ever so I'm not sure if what I tasted was the best, but they were good. I feel like more of a crunch on the birria taco would've been better. That could've been on me tho since I got it through Doordash. The place is only about five minutes away though. The quesadilla was yummy. Just thought some more toppings would be good. Pico would've been great on it. The green sauce it comes with was good to tho, just lacking in toppings for me. I love sour cream and everything. That option isn't in doordash. read more

First of all, I CAN EAT HERE EVERYDAYYYYY!! Food is top tier 10/10 every time I go! Staff is super friendly! Vibes are lovely, only thing I would say is that the music is too loud to hear yourself think but it's fine I bare it anyway. I go by myself a lot and I never feel uncomfortable which is great. Taco Bamba has been one of my favorite taco restaurants for a few years now. We used to drive all the way to Fairfax and Vienna to get it because it was THAT good. So fortunate that now there is one much closer to home and the experience is spot on with their other locations. Their flavors are phenomenal and the service is always amazing. Lines are still fairly long as a hot new spot in the area, but trust me, it's worth the wait and the staff works through orders fairly quickly. I got the El Gringo, Carnitas, Camaron, and Taco Bamba. The avocado texture was rough, gritty and tasteless and most likely not fresh. The music is a great but too loud that I cannot hear myself talking. I do not why the management do not read the feedback left by other customers. read more

So excited they have opened this Herndon location. The vibes, drinks, and tacos are AMAZING! It gets super busy there on any given day but specially on Tuesday's for TACO TUESDAY! The last few delivery orders were pretty bad. Last time I ordered a chorizo quesadilla, got a tortilla with crunchy chorizo sausage and literally NO cheese. I am not joking. Order before that (which was small) got cancelled even though it wasn't close to closing time. This time they straight up just gave our driver the wrong order. Yes, the driver should verify but this is a pattern now and it sucks. I love the food - great flavors and portions. Staff have been great; prices are competitive. The issue I have is the deafening music screaming from the speakers inside (and outside). Why does it have to be so loud?! I mean, I get that it needs to be up a bit for folks to hear, but I have been here four or five times, and each time I come, it is painfully loud. I have not been able to talk comfortably with the rest of my party, and I leave with a headache. I even feel like I have to yell my order to the cashier for it to be heard. I thought this place would be like the Vienna location but it differs in a couple different ways. The only real reason for my low grade is two family members including myself got sick after eating here. Based off what everyone in the party ate, we narrowed it down to the ceviche. I love raw fish, I love getting ceviche every chance I get and I was excited to try theirs since im not a huge taco person. Upon first taste I thought something was off, but initially brushed it off and continued to eat it. I passed it to another family member who told me it tasted off. That not fresh kinda taste. We Brought the cup up to the staff and they told me that's just how they prepare it. It has a really citrusy taste and they had made it that morning. We didn't finish it, they offered to give other things in place which was nice. Other than that I got quesadillas for my toddlers which was a hit ,numerous different kinds of tacos which were all good. A guac and chips appetizer witch was small and lacked seasoning but ok. In the end im not sure if id go out of my way to get back here. Id sure stay away from the fish. We came here after going to frying pan park which it was nice being so close. They also have a lot of seating compared to the other locations, indoor and out. Music inside is WAY too loud. I ordered Cup'0 Bamba with non spicy chicken and no jalapeños. I got Cup O Meat , very spicy with no follow up from the server to see how it was. My husband went to the counter and while they brought me the food, not how I ordered it, they still charged me for the meal I didn't order. This was my first visit to any of the Taco Bambas locations. Thumbs up, the food is really tasty. There was a line about 15 people deep but moved fairly quickly. The menu is sizable with lots of tacos, bowls and tortas to pick from. I can usually handle three street tacos but went with just two for this first visit and I ordered a tamarind jarritos. They have outdoor tables, indoor tables and a short bar area for seating. We grabbed a 4 top near the pickup area. We noticed that the dining room is loud, very loud. Between the high metal ceilings and blaring music people are near shouting to be heard at their table adding to the din. Overall a great experience, will be back to try some more of the menu. read more

I've been to this place twice and I really like it. Warning, if you go at lunch, pack your patience and make sure you have plenty of time to stand in line. Each time I went i waited in line for at least 15-20 mins. I've tasted all of their agua Frescas and they are all delicious. I really love the mango one. The asada tacos are good. The first time, the manager encouraged me to order them dirty style. I didn't really enjoy that so much. The next time, I just ordered them regular and it was really good. I also got the corn. It as okay. Not the best Mexican corn, but not the worst. We got chips and cheese both times. The first time the cheese was nice and hot. The second time the cheese was cold. I should have asked for a new one but they were too busy so I didn't bother. The first time we also ordered this chorizo egg roll thing as an app. It was huge. 3 people could eat off of it. It was too heavy to me, but then again, I don't absolutely love chorizo. I like it, but not love it. Finally, on the second time we had churros and they were good. Enough for two people to share. Oh one thing I noticed while waiting for my food the second time was that they offer free coffee right at the end of the bar. Nice touch. Next time, I want to try one of their tortas. It's a mixed bag. Drinks are good. I've enjoyed all the tacos; the Black specialty taco is my favorite. Chips (too thick and stale tasting) and guacamole (just ick, and guacamole is one of my favorite foods) are seriously lacking. Queso tastes good but is runny. I had the carbon polo taco one regular one dirty, which comes with the barbecue sauce, which was delicious, and the chips and guac which was phenomenal. We stopped by this place to try it out for lunch one weekday. Food was good. I really liked their sauce bar. The reason I'm giving 3 stars is because of the music blasting so loud in this place that this was the only thing I could focus on. It was so loud that I could barely hear the cashier when I was ordering, let alone have any type of conversation with anybody. After waiting for our food, we decided to take our food to an outside table to get some relief from the blasting music inside. Outside was a bit better but not by much.
