This Tacobell has gone downhill since hiring a bunch of teenagers that do not care to be there. I'm typing this in the drive through lane where i've been stuck in for over half an hour. It's a reoccurring theme even if there's 2 cars at the drive through, you could watch an entire episode of TV before even sniffing your food. Let's be clear from the start. TacoBell isn't new to anyone. The menu and flavor has pretty much been the same for a few decades and is kind of a comfort fast food. So, it's always a little bit of an indulgence when I'm in the mood. Well, today, after a 4 hour drive in the way home, I decided to stop at this location. And boy what an experience! Let's start with that it took 34 minutes from Speaker box to window to serve 5 cars. I don't know what cause the delay but my quick observations from the drive thru window noted 7 employees lackadaisically walking about. No sense of urgency. Not one of them actually doing anything. Couldn't see anyone actually making any food. But, they all had time to chat with each other... ask me 4 times if I wanted sauce, and one guy even had music earbuds in his ears making himself a personal beverage concoction. Now... I'm not one to grossly complain, they do have signs up saying they are hiring... so I try to give them the benefit of the doubt that they are short handed- but the folks that WERE there sure didn't seem like they knew they were actually at a place of work. ‍ If you're in a rush... definitely avoid this location. We ordered 3 bean burritos, 3 tacos & 2 chips & cheese. The chips were ALL rancid!! The bean burritos all had chunks of "meat" I've never had anything like this in a Taco Bell burrito! It was definitely the bottom of the bean pot scraped and put into the burrito. Disgusting. The cheese dip was even spicy. It's never spicy. I'm not one for reviewing fast food places. In my opinion you get what you pay for. But oh man this was weird. I pull up, nobody answers at the order menu in the drive through. I waited a couple minitrs, nothing. So I drive through. People talking and standing around inside. One of them sees me and they start moving. The window opens and I here "no, I suck a training people!" Ironic. Then the old man who opened the window looks at me and I ask if they are open yet, it's 7:15am. Avoid! Dropped in around 9 one night this month. Drive thru packed, decided to go inside. YUK! The store was a filthy mess. Watched people walk over garbage over and over but had time to stand around talking. Manager (was so bad I couldn't tell the difference between management and staff) has GOT to be gone, no way they would let this look like this! My friend and I went through the drive thru today. Neither one of us had cash so I said I wanted to place 2 separate orders. The girl taking orders said that she was too busy to take separate orders, which is ridiculous. The time that she spent arguing with me could have been used to take my order, etc. This wasn't my first negative experience at this Taco Bell but it will definitely be my last. This place is a complete joke. Drive thru takes 25-30 minutes on average now. The parking lot has pot holes that have not been fixed for months on end and the staff is utterly ridiculous. A Taco Bell is a Taco Bell. Food is same at all locations. I frequent this one every month or so. Always been typical. Not good nor bad. But my visit today was a breath of fresh air. Place was clean. I received my order and I either ordered incorrectly or a small mistake. No big deal. Manager immediately without question fixed order. Soon after a worker presented me with a new one and offered my money back...Wow. I would expect this service at Viscontes or a high end place. Restaurant was exceptionally clean as was rest room. There are good taco Bell locations and there are bad. This one is bad. Management obviously doesn't know how to hire the correct employees for the job. I have literally sat in the drive through multiple times for over 45 minutes, and when you're in a drive through you are stuck, you can't decide to back out. So when you get to the window and there is no apology of any kind, or offering of a free soda or something to compensate, it shows they just don't care. Seriously the employees in the drive through need to listen. My dad asked for the exact number of sauces he need for two burritos. They gave in 32 Milds and 27 Chili verde sauces. Talk about ridiculous. This is why places start charging for extra sauces, because of their employees ignorance. Our food was warm, but the nacho cheese was cold for my chips, and she never smiled. Awesome service!! The let me know that it would take a while since they dropped fresh potatoes for my order. While I waited the manager was very accommodating and got me a drink while I waited. I mentioned I was vegetarian and me not knowing one of my items wasn't a vegetarian option he immediately suggested a similar item that was vegetarian and got it make right away! My boyfriend and I stopped at this location tonight for a quick bite and were disappointed the second we got home and opened the bag and yes, we checked to make sure we had everything before leaving. I had asked for a taco without lettuce and had received an unreasonable amount of lettuce instead. Also asked for extra jalapeño sauce on my chicken quesadilla since they are typically dry but unfortunately nothing extra was added but, I was charged for it. It should have been called a cheese quesadilla since it was lacking chicken as well. I was impressed with the food that I have had at this particular Taco Bell. The texture of the food has been very good and the service has been fast. I usually do not get the Taco Bell burritos and Tacos, because of the blandness of the beans and shells, but this Taco Bell has very good bean consistency. They have flavor and are pretty solid as compared to the many watery bland burritos that I have found at other Taco Bell locations. I do not know what else to write, because it is a Taco Bell, but I think the flavor quality is better at this one. read more

I started to hate this Taco Bell (because of the ridiculous drive thru & lobby wait times and always messing up on my order) but today I went and I was in drive thru for maybe 2 minutes at TOPS. This hasn't happen in years! We were so shocked to pull right up to the window after ordering and almost having our food ready for us. Because of the holidays I kept forgetting to post my review. So here it is. The Taco Bell in Cameron Park was 1 of 2 Taco Bells that are a favorite of my husband and I. We always went there and ate in the dining room. Then 1 day we went and couldn't eat on the dining room. The guy at the drive up window said that 10 people quit after a meeting with the manager. Ever since then we haven't been able to eat in the dining room because they closed it for short staffing, thus we haven't gone there for quite awhile. Before Thanksgiving I went by there and the dining room was open. I went inside and stood there for the longest time not being waited on. After about 20 minutes the manager finally told me that they weren't taking orders from the registers. That I had to use the machines. She said she'd take my order since I was waiting for so long. Her attitude wasn't very pleasant and she seemed annoyed. In fact none of the employees were very friendly or helpful. As I was waiting for my order I noticed that 99% of the employees were wearing masks. Half of them wore them under their noses. 1 girl had no mask and she was talking and laughing all over the food she was preparing for customers. I was disgusted. I mentioned it to one of the workers, he didn't seem to care. I finally got my order and left. St home I realized my burrito supreme didn't have all the ingredients it was supposed to have and it was squished to half the size it's supposed to be. Definately not going back there unless I hear they are under new management. read more
