I'd give them a zero if I could. Ordered a chalupa combo - chicken, baja, no tomatoes. Got ground beef, sour cream instead of baja, and tons of tomatoes. My receipt was correct - so either they can't read, are just plain stupid, or simply don't care. This review is not based solely on Fishkill Taco Bell but on the Quesalupa as a whole. All of the commercials on TV advertise this cheesy goodness taking a bite and pulling away all this Cheese as if you were biting into a slice of pizza .We bought a couple from this location and it was tasty but the cheese you actually had to look for. This place has seemingly mastered the art of "fast food". I have gone there for years and have NEVER had an order wrong, I have actually LIKED talking to each person that has taken my order and served me. I absolutely and enraged. This is ridiculous I once worked ah mcdonalds and as an employee I made sure to never send something off if I wouldnt eat it myself meaning, I would always make sure it was fresh not stale and old. The food I was given today was absolutely disgusting. The tacos were extremely soggy, the shells tasted stale. And before people say oh well on the ride home they could of gotten soggy, I live less then a block away! I could go Back but I don't want anything they want to offer me including new food. I've had problems with this Taco Bell for a while. NEVER RETURNING. Bought 23$ worth of food and not one thing was even remotely edible. It was all old stale and soggy as if it had been sitting there for a while from a forgotten bag or someone made too many and then they gave it to us, I remember some managers at my old McDonald's who would try to pull that crap! Friendly staff and decent food. Place is always spotless which is surprising for a fast food place with there kind of volume of customers. Almost always packed but my food comes out in a pretty decent time. Always good on the run. Only downside is the place looks really old. Every fast food restaurant in the area has updated around you. Did I just pay $4 for spicy cheez whiz on a tortilla? It was supposed to be a steak quesadilla. There was hardly any steak. Maybe four bites. Granted it's been a while since I've been to a Taco Bell. Did they change their recipes? Is this particular Taco Bell just incompetent? The steak quesadilla used to be a decent amount of steak with real, melted gooey cheese, not goopy processed cheese product. It used to be toasty on the outside. This was pure, unadulterated slop today. They didn't even cut it into triangles like I remember, it was just one big mass of grossness. I guess I could have gone back in and complained, but it had taken them an excruciatingly long time to make this slop in the first place, I just couldn't wait around any longer. Let's just say "never again". This experience has killed my Taco Bell cravings forever. (Update: I checked the Taco Bell website, and the quesadilla IS supposed to be grilled on the outside and have actual cheese inside. ok so i hate cheese a ton. i hate cheese more than i hate a lot of things and i hate a lot of things. so i tell them NOT to put cheese on my tacos and i make it very clear to them. so the guy who takes the order listens and he writes "no cheese" on the order form or whatever the thing that the people who make the food look at. for some reason though, when i opened my tacos and what did i see? i see a ton of cheese on my tacos. i have not been this angry in a long time. i was looking forward to eating them but now i cannot eat them. the cheese was melted all over the shell and the meat. get your act together Taco Bell in Fishkill, NY. i am beyond pissed. read more
