This was a crazy day but interesting! I won't say what date this was but it was awhile back LOL I went to this taco bell through the drive thru. I ordered only a Steak Quesadillia and a large pepsi. I paid for what I ordered when I got to the window. The cashier said here is your order sir. I had this odd look on my face and the cashier said Is everything ok? I said ummm yeah i guess. The cashier said you need sauce... I was out of words and just shook my head no. Cashier said have a great day! When I left I opened this 12 pack variety box and I was like HOLY $HIT LOL 6 crunchy tacos 2 Fiery Doritos Locos Taco 2 Nacho Cheese Doritos Locos Taco 2 Cool Ranch® Doritos® Locos Taco I also got my Soda and my steak Quesadillia LOL Well I went ahead and went to my Fiance's house and we had taco bell for $5.00 to $6.00 I gave some to her sister and brother LOL... This Taco Bell's a hit and miss when it comes to exceptional service. The amount of time you could wait in the drive thru is crazy regardless if its two or more cars. They also ask how many packets of salsa you'd like with your order when you pay at the first or second window. I just think that a hand full is good. Grab and pack it with my order. Knowing the exact number that would go with my nachos, well, it depends on the amount of chip to packet ratio. But that will take to long to explain how that system works. Speaking of the windows, I just had a girl on 4/28 at about 12:15ish literally slam my change into my hand. She had purple hair. I looked at her like, you good bruh? And then she smiled and said have a good day. She must be new I never seen her before. That should be good to narrow it down for you. Lol Food is mostly done as well as could be for fast food. They do disappoint at times with how thin they could make a bean burrito or with how they could make an inside out soft taco or how they could totally miss all the chips putting together a nacho bell grande. I don't remember ordering my toppings on the side. ;/ Inside is totally different. You could receive faster service. They do take your name at the register and give you a number to take to your table. What I like is that they do serve you your meal. If you don't like it the manager is totally cool and makes sure your happy with your order. I would totally like to see a change in the menu as for the size soft drink you could order with your... order. I am not a big soda drinker these days so a small soft drink is perfect. Overall, if you'd like a better Taco Bell experience then go inside! The decor has been update. Weather if you like sitting high, low, in the open, or tucked in a booth just go and take your pick. I've been to other Taco Bells in Hayward, but this one is the best. They have real Mexican food! I'M JOKING. But, other Taco Bells have failed me. These guys always put the sauce in my Deal Number One $2 meal Chicken Burrito while others don't. It's a good eating environment and pretty friendly staff. I always bring friends here since it is cheap and just good quality Taco Bell food. It's in a convenient location too. Something you may like a lot is the fact that you can buy a small drink and refill it right there up to 20 times (okay maybe 100 times) without having to ask them to do it for you behind the counter. The service here is absolutely terrible. People think Hayward is ghetto and this will be a prime example to why people think that. People at the drive thru are hella rude. When you ask to read back the order, you'll hear a little sigh and attitude. When you go inside, the place is a mess. They don't clean up very well. Wow! I've never felt the need to give a 5-star review for a fast food joint before. This Taco Bell just ruined all others for me. It is clean, the staff is very friendly, and they bring your food to you, rather than calling out a number. They ask for your name when you order and when your food is ready, they call out your name and bring you your tray. How nice! Then about halfway through my meal, the young man working at the register (his name is Ricky) came over and asked how my meal was. Um, is this actually TACO BELL?!! Worst Taco Bell. You're better off going anywhere else. Normally I double check to make sure my order is accurate but with there sealed for you sticker I didn't think about it. I was missing 3 items that cost over $6 plus the quesadilla that I did have was not even cooked. It was cold cheese was not melted and tortilla was not toasted at all. Never had problems in this taco bell. But today I guess was not my day!! Seriously Im in line and the cashier just leaves and like searches the trash and takes it out meanwhile we were waiting!!! A coworker of his told him that he had a customer but he didnt care he took his sweet time!! Like we saw him go outside to throw away the trash we left it wasnt worth waiting and letting him take our order! I am a vegetarian so I order all my food with beans instead of meat. The last 5-6 times I've been here they have made my food with meat and it's not until I get home that I notice. The only thing the management offers is for them to make me another one. But that means I have to drive there and back just to get the food I ordered. Talk about a waste of my time and money. It took over 30 minutes to get through a drive-through line of about 8-9 cars or so. Then when I get the whole two items I ordered they were done incorrectly. However, that day, a nice teenage girl greeted me and smiled. she was so friendly and handed my my order really quick. fast and precise. Her name was on the receipt. Raquel G was it i believe. As a girl on the go, I tend to eat a lot of fast food. So sue me. Actually I'll probably sue you after I gain so much weight that I can't leave my house. It's really easy to spend a buck.50 and get a bean and cheese burrito. Which, if that's all you get, isn't terribly bad. (This is me justifying my bad food choices.) Ok this location has got the drive thru down. When I get off work and am I'm a hurry to get somewhere else, the line of cars gets taken care of in record time. And yes...I like Taco Bell food. You show me someone who doesn't like their Doritos locos taco and I'll show you someone who is a LIAR! Ok off track. The times I do go inside they are also quite efficient. ..not to mention patient. I really like the little monitor in the drive thru that reviews my order. You are speedy like the drivers in the Daytona 500! However, sometimes my food is cold or I can tell that the shell of my favorite beef supreme chalupa may have been sitting out for a little too long and in turn it became kind of hard and with a hint of chewy.
