I consider myself a Taco Bell connoisseur, and this has *consistently* been the worst Taco Bell I've ever been to. Just to give you some background, I'm from California and have been to almost every Taco Bell in Cali (including the Cantinas). I'm an OG rewards member and am the highest level. I also worked for Taco Bell when I was 19. My first review of this Taco Bell was actually on another platform (Google) over a month ago. I explained how my order was wrong, the beef was the incorrect color, and my Crunchwrap was ridiculously skimpy. After writing this review, I decided to give this location several chances to redeem themselves, and each has been worse than the last. On three separate occasions, they've straight up ripped me off by completely leaving out the main ingredient, whether it was meat or beans. On one occasion, they left the beef out of a Chalupa. On another, they left the black beans out of a Gordita. On another occasion, they left the potatoes out of an item for which potatoes were the main protein. Three times is way too many to have accidentally forgotten the protein. Since I worked for Taco Bell as a teen, I know the manager gets bonuses for ingredient surpluses. I very highly suspect that the manager at this location has directed staff to routinely leave out the protein in order to make their food usage look low, so that they get bigger bonus checks. I also strongly suspect that this Taco Bell intentionally retaliates against people who write bad reviews, which is a horrible and immature business practice which always leads to a loss in revenue. Instead of trying to do better, they've messed up every order I've put in through the app. After I complained about my $7 Luxe box, they seem to have removed it from their menu by marking it as unavailable. I'm still able to order it from other locations, but not theirs. Last time I came in, I ordered the loaded beef nachos, sub potatoes for beef. There was no beef or potatoes. There were ten chips that didn't even cover the bottom of the tray. The tray was not even 25% full. These mistakes cost the business money since I ended up complaining and getting free items. I'll be redeeming them at a different location, though. This Taco Bell is so bad that I literally went to McDonald's for the first time in over a year and Dairy Queen for the first time in many years-- they literally drove me away to their nearby competitors. The Taco Bell corporation needs to take a serious look into what is going on with the management at this location and consider closing the store until it's staffed by at least one person who isn't constantly harming Taco Bell's reputation. read more

It's supposed to come with Guacamole, you call that Guacamole? That's smaller than a quarter. If you are going to rip people off. Not worth buying this. 5.99 with no Guacamole when it's supposed to come with it, is a rip off. read more

I get off work at 1:00 a.m. One of the only places that are still open, or at least should be, at least on the weekends. Twice now though I've come here to find that they've closed early with no warning even after making a mobile order. Just to told that I just have to get a refund. read more

We asked for straws and they say the don't have any, so we asked for spoons and they say they don't have any of those either. Guys behind us come out with straws and spoons, didn't make are burritos right asked for a remake and they never did. Horrible service! read more

Taco Bell is Taco Bell and sometimes you just crave it. In Hood River for the night and stopped to grab something to take to where we are staying. I am giving 5 stars thanks to the exceptional customer service and friendliness and our correct order and the fact they let us use their restroom even though the lobby is closed, much needed after a long drive. read more

Non-existent customer service. When you try to get service all you get is attitude and pointed towards the kiosks. You ask for a manager you get called a B;t€h. Even in the drive thru you get attitude for trying to order. We have a large family and get attitude every time we try to order for our whole family. Our kids love Taco Bell food. This is the worst place in hood river. The amount of issues and lack of professionalism is ridiculous. They have wait times that have been 45 min plus and you are stuck in a drive thru with no way out. If you ask or complain they will shut the window. They lock the doors at all times. They don't have consistent hours. If the employees are over it they will just stop responding to the drive thru kiosk during business hours. This location honestly needs to be closed by corporate. Sooo we were only "snack hungry" when dinner rolled around and quite possibly feeling like we had eaten (and spent) our weight in food for a day in Portland. Taco Bell to the rescue. It was a short and sweet order- nothing crazy. The line at this spot moved superrr slow during our visit. Personal pet peeve- when they ask if you need sauce and you say one packet and they throw five packets into the bag even when you only have one taco. Such a waste :( read more

The lobby is finally open but nobody that works here cares. The lobby is gross. Dirty tables, the drink area is sticky and liquid everywhere. Having read bad reviews, I was very hesitant on going here. However it literally is next door to where we were staying and we wanted just a quick bite after having been to numerous restaurants. We walked in and the establishment was empty. We were greeted promptly and with a smile. The menu is the predictable Taco Bell fare. We ordered (2) 5$ boxes, and a 7layer burrito. It came quickly and the order was correct. Visiting from Hawaii, we swear the ingredients tasted fresher. I know my burrito was not sloppily made like in Hawaii (although I hardly go to Taco Bell). Everything came out hot as well. The restaurant was super clean as well. I don't understand how the reviews for drive-thru would be so long as there were no patrons when we came there were at least 3 staff. The employees do not want to interact with customers at all. You cannot order from a person or pay with cash. If you need something after your order has been placed on the counter, you get an eye roll and sigh for having to come to the counter to actually hand you the cup for the drink you already paid for. There are very few options as it is in Hood River, when you work nights and are hungry around 11 it would be nice to have some place open to grab a quick bite. just came in and witness Lacey the manager hold a $100 dollar bill with the gloves she was using to make the food and then proceed to use that same glove to finish the burrito. I confronted her to change her glove but still used the burrito that was touched by a dirty glove. Extremely disgusting especially when we are in a pandemic. Food was OK at best. The real kicker was the lack of cleanliness. I came in at 8pm on a Sunday. There was one table occupied and not a single clean table. Trash stacked on the floors. Jed, the manager was horribly rude. The disrespect he showed us was unbelievable. Rushing us in the drive through, horrible customer service, missing an order is Unexpectable. Even the employees were embarrassed by his behavior, get some better customer service. If you can't eloquently explain your rules, get a different job, Jed. This is An embarssment to HR. We would have settled for something else but this was a quick option. We wanted to get take out at the drive-through but we saw a line building up so I went inside while bf waited in the car. I placed my order and thought it would be quick but it ended up taking awhile and they forgot someone else's order ahead of me. Anyway, we got our chalupa and soft taco and they tasted normal, lacking meat, I thought. As I was getting some sauce from the condiments area, the floor was somehow sticky, with something that was spilt earlier on, I guess. It was gross! Even other diners were making fun that the floor was sticky and they should get the hell outta there. We noticed some of the tables were not wiped down so I guess they were under-staffed. S-l-o-w... It's definitely not fast for fast food. We stopped during happy hour & it's having a rough time keeping up. Other than that they have a soda selection I enjoyed. The bathroom is a little dirty. Single bathrooms & does not have a changing table for a baby. They are looking for a new Manager, so hopefully that will help. read more
