I went all in and went with the 3x3 which in hindsight was way more than I needed. The meat is rich which means a single or 2x2 is all you need. The crisp on the smash was perfection and the bun was pillowy soft. The sauce complimented everything well. My only regret was not asking if they had Serrano peppers before I ordered bc that would've added a whole other level to an already amazing burger. $30 well spent. If you just look at the menu, you might have sticker shock, but they are using A5 meat for the burgers which is why its higher priced. Compare it to most food in the area, everything is overpriced bc it's touristy, at least at Swagyu you get a quality tasting meal. Worth every dime in my opinion. They have locations in San Diego as well, and all I could think of is how much money I'd spend if they had a spot up in the Bay. Smash burgers done right is so hard to find, if they had one in the Bay I'd be a regular here for sure.

Our reservation was for 6:45 pm and it was the perfect time to catch the sunset. For an appetizer, we got the warm ube bread with butter - it was yummy! For my entree, I got the mahi mahi and my husband got the scallops and risotto. We both cleaned our entire plates haha. We couldn't resist dessert and split the warm bread pudding with vanilla ice cream - YUM! Overall we had a wonderful dinner overlooking the ocean.
