I am not one for exaggeration. This restaurant provided, in all likelihood the greatest dining experience of my life. At first, the lack of efficiency irked me like the other patrons swarming around; but it was when I changed my perspective the shroud from my eyes lifted revealing the beauty that was before me. As I waited for what seemed like a lifetime, I watched as humanity began to collapse in on itself like a dying star. To truly understand what it is to be human is to watch a stranger's resolve be tested as they wait upwards of an hour for their Mexican guilty pleasure. It was at the thirty minute mark where most would begin to shout personalized vitriol at the understaffed workers. The crowd joined together against their common foe as their other concerns of the outside world began to fade. I would highly recommend this fast food establishment, not for its speed or product; but rather for something more. My experience cant quite be explained by the human words at my disposal. For the price of Seasoned Beef Quesarito, I watched the huddled masses renounce their pagan gods and rip their cloaks after waiting forty-five minutes for a taco. Rude employees. To the point that I will avoid all Taco Bell restaurants. I've had enough of order takers not paying attention, of operators not ensuring the equipment operates effectively, or a lack of any sense of service. Customers have choices! Lots of them! We were told to order when ready. We started the order and then was rudely told to hold on. The microphone wasn't off and we heard a kerfuffle between two employees. That created an awkward ordering situation as we sat like a fly on the wall to a conversation we shouldn't have been a part of. The tacos all came cracked. Every single one. Super slow for dine-in, kiosk ordering in-store is no faster or personal than drive-thru. Tables rarely wiped, technology glitches, short staffed, and no sense of urgency equals disappointment. The food for a quick snack is barely passable but the commercials make it look so good. read more

I work in the food industry, and that could only mean that they are closing the grill hours before close for their convenience not only was I not able to order what I desired, but the burrito I decided to order for my late night craving was filled with crunchy rice. It's been over a year since my last review so I thought I would give an update. I went for lunch today and my food was exactly how I ordered it, even accommodating my modifications. The staff is friendly and I noticed since the mask mandates have been lifted they aren't using the same protocols they did previously. I was pleasantly surprised to STILL not have to wait in line and by now I've come at all times of afternoon and evening. And bonus, the chips in my nachos were not stale this time. I really used to love the food at this location. For that reason, it's unfortunate that I'm updating my review from 5 stars down to 1 star. The food USED to be stellar at this location, but that is no longer the case. It now comes cold, dry, and lacking ingredients. They are recently under new management, and for some reason the new manager decided that crappy food will increase sales... How does that make any sense? When I approached the manager with complaints (I was calm and polite) about my one of my items being prepared incorrectly and also one of the items being completely wrong, she was very condescending. She offered to remake the items for me, but given her attitude I was afraid of her spitting in the food before giving it to me. I also have zero faith that any food this location puts out will be worth consuming anymore. I said "It's fine. Thank you for your time." and exited the location. I'm currently attempting to refund through the Taco Bell app (it was a mobile order and that's the only way). I'm only disappointed. I'm not upset. I just want delicious Taco Bell again... not this dry, flavorless, sorry excuse for Taco Bell. It's just sad. This place has not been open that long, but every single time I come, there are problems. They are constantly out of major ingredients. The dining room is often locked due to understaffing, and sitting in the drive through line when you expected to be in and out sucks. Online orders have items they do not actually have in store. The employees just seem shell shocked anymore but they are not helpful and friendly. I specify 1 sauce packet and they give me 15 (wastefully). This current visit, I was told they were out of chicken, and to park my car and they would bring it out to me, but had no estimates how long. I don't go to Taco Bell often and I don't expect fine dining, but there needs to be a minimum level of service. And when it comes to staff shortages and food shortages concurrently, it has to be up to management to fix it. The most horrible experience! Bag was set on our door cause we had to park to get our food, so juggling my food my drinks spilt in my floorboard!! I'm seriously so tired of coming here and getting home and come to find out i'm missing stuff from my order. It shouldn't be up to the customers to check their bag to make sure they get what they ordered. That is the employees job. I understand somethings get misplaced but if it's multiple items and different items and even the sauce when they ask multiple times if you want any like what is the point in asking if you never get it. I love Taco Bell and my favorite order is cheesy gordita crunch and a cheese and chicken quesadilla with sour cream on the side. Getting Taco Bell is usually a treat for me and taste great, but today the food was awful, there was hardly any cheese in between the two shells on the gordita crunch and it wasn't even melted. I literally drive out of the way just to go to this location. This is the nicest and best location I've ever been to and I go to Taco Bell A LOT. The Lake Mary Blvd location is 2 seconds from my house but I drive 12 minutes out of the way just to go to this one. The Lake Mary Blvd location lies and says they're only taking UberEats & Doordash orders just so they don't have to take YOUR order and they will take the order of the person in front of you and their staff is the rudest I've ever encountered where they will complain on the drive-thru mic about you while it's still on saying they wish they could get a "damn break" and laugh about it in your face. THIS LONGWOOD LOCATION ROCKS!! The staff are so friendly and professional, always make the food right for me, and are quick and efficient. I wish every Taco Bell was like this one. They ran out of beef once and had to cook more, apologized over and over, gave me free taco coupons, and even walked it over to my car when my order was done and didn't make me go back through the line. They're so nice, seriously. I love this location. Please take my advice and AVOID THE LAKE MARY LOCATION AND MAKE THE EXTRA DRIVE TO THIS LONGWOOD LOCATION. Trust me, it's soo worth it!
