Classic Grilled Chicken Burrito
Stephen M.

I've been to this location several times and generally have enjoyed a good meal. And this most recent occasion I tried to place an order through the app and I couldn't get it to go through. I wasn't far so I just hit the drive-through and placed my order quickly And then drove up to pay for it. They had it completely ready by the time I got to the window so I paid and they had me on my way. I was better than halfway to my destination when I realized I didn't get any hot sauce with my order. I hadn't asked for any, but they failed to ask if I wanted any. I'm used to always being asked when I go to their restaurants. I've even had them put stuff in without my asking. This made for a very disappointing meal for me. I had gotten a big box with the beef and bean burrito, no beans, a chicken taco with no special sauce and a snack taco and small quesadilla. Generally, it's a pretty good deal for the price. Without any hot sauce, it turned into a very disappointing meal. both tacos were very majorly filled which surprised me as I have had this box before a couple of times and they were more generous with the fillings. The burrito and quesadilla were as expected. My biggest complaint I guess is that it was all pretty flavorless without any salsa I have pretty much always enjoyed Del Taco over other fast food Mexican places. I'm a bit disappointed that I'm learning that what I like most about. It is the hot sauce. I will still eat their food, but I will have to be more careful when I order as ever since they went more AI and with the kiosks to order inside it's now much more difficult to customize orders and you can't always get a human being to help you. They are not the only place to put AI first and customers second. If you just want a generic as it comes meal, then it probably doesn't matter but if you like anything a certain way, it's not a chore to get it done the way you want it. And now apparently their customer service is lagging a bit. Hopefully they will work to improve thingsor I will have to find someplace else to get my tacos.

The food didn't taste great honestly was just trying to stomach it at one point couldn't finish and I believe one of my burritos were bad

Bean burrito with green sauce

I really enjoyed a bean burrito with green sauce. I found a few whole beans. Their beans are fresh, made daily. Green sauce is best I think. Got my dog I ordered a mini cheddar quesadilla. Their prices are great. The outside is really cute with hanging lights.

Thursday Taco Night is a bargain, especially when you add free nachos!

5 Stars for one of my favorite fast food chains! First, the staff was friendly and welcoming. None of that "Oh, you're bothering me" attitude that you see at some places. The chicken soft tacos were made nicely with the ingredients evenly dispersed throughout. And no big mouthfuls of sauce on one end and nothing on the other end. I wish everyone would make it like they're going to eat it! And the Thursday evening deal makes them just over a buck a piece when you buy 3. The 3 Layer Nachos I ordered were loaded with delicious beans that were the perfect consistency. Nothing worse that beans that are dry AF or runny AF. These were baby bear beans - just right! The new store was clean and everything was great. I just wish they'd wrap their cutlery in plastic wrap. Loose unwrapped forks seem a bit sketchy! That's more of a corporate thing though than this location! Keep up the good work and I hope not to be disappointed on my next 57 visits!

As good as Mexican fast good gets. Better than the Bell. This is a spotlessly clean, new location in a busy area of Orlando.

You really can't beat the crispiness and flavor. The flavor is out the park. The tenders are huge and I had to take one home with me. We tried the Hogzilla, Glen Rhee, Firecracker Shrimp, and Cuban - we did a 3 bao combo for $15 and an à la carte bao for $5.50. The combo is a no brainer if you want a satisfying meal for 1 or a snack for 2, since it comes with a fountain drink while the baos are discounted 50 cents each. As we were a party of 2 , we went with 4 baos so 2 baos per person and it was a nice snack. The hogzilla is the pork belly which is decent - a bit on the saltier side but all the ingredients meshed well. The Glen Rhee is Korean beef which was a bit dry. Despite glowing reviews, I was a bit disappointed Firecracker shrimp was amazing. 4 pieces in the bao so definitely overflowing with shrimp, and the sauce that comes with it is filling and satisfying Cuban is their seasonal and has pork and chicharron. I was hoping there was a crunch from the chicharron but at least there was ample flavor - a reinvention of the Cuban sandwich This place is fast casual so you mostly seat yourself and bus your own table, fill your water, and grab your utensils and napkins. The vibe is casual, not a place you'd necessarily plan for a date night, and had limited seating.

I stopped in after doing some shopping and placed my order online so it would be ready by the time I finished. I ordered the chicken club sandwich and a Dream Bar. It was after 8 p.m. on a Saturday, and the restaurant was pretty much empty. My order was ready ahead of the quoted pickup time, which I appreciated. However, the sandwich didn't quite live up to what I remember. The bread didn't taste as fresh as I expected, and the sandwich was lukewarm instead of warm and toasty like I've experienced at other locations. The Dream Bar was also not quite what I remembered. It didn't have the same richness or taste that made it a favorite for me in the past. I'm not sure if the time of day impacted the quality, but the overall experience just didn't match the Potbelly I remember from Chicago. That said, because I've had great experiences with this brand in the past, I'd be open to giving this location another try.
