11/23/2025 - 2:30 AM Horrible experience. Both employees should be held accountable for their actions and attitude toward customers. I pulled up to the first window and asked the employee for a second while I called my girlfriend to get one more dollar. As I rolled up my window, the worker yelled, "HEY, HELLO, WTF," and was mugging me till I rolled my window back down and explained again he continued laughing with his coworkers. When I explained that I just needed one more dollar and a moment, they smirked at me. The employee then said he hated holding up the line, told me I should have driven around and come back when I was "ready," and refused to give me his name so I could speak with a manager. The employee at the second window had the same attitude, saying I couldn't get the name either and basically telling me "oh well, sorry you felt like that" with a smirk. Service with 5 star folks on drive through was kind, nice, and patient. I used to eat taco bell back in college days when they still had the grill stuff burrito steak so today decided to get some Taco bell today and the food just wasn't as I expected. Food I give a 1 star. I had ordered the Burrito Surpreme Grilled and the food just wasn't good. Mainly beans barely any beef if any it just wasn't good. It cost me about 10 bucks for the meal. I think I would rather just grab a burrito at a taco truck instead next time. I most likely won't be returning to Taco bell anytime soon. read more

I pulled into the parking lot to enjoy my order before getting back on Hwy 99. The taco was great. The burrito was ok. The unsweetened iced tea was the most disgusting tea I've ever had. I only took a sip! I left it in the, because I'll throw it out in the morning. That morning when I looked at the tea, there was mold floating inside the (picture included). I ordered a number one with a mango tea supreme. They charge me for that supreme and still make it regular. Drive thru staff are extremely friendly towards the end of the night. They are generous with the sauces and love to joke with you. Poorest customer service at this taco bell. There are 2 fat sized females who were working the counter. Very rude when I told them my order was wrong. Would not call the manager on duty for me to talk to. A male worker got me the manager, and I gave him a hi 5! Tried to get the 2 fat ladies to give me a hi 5, but they had the worst personalities. It is taco bell, it is food. Fast food. And it isn't a burger. The only shameful thing is that the Merced Taco Bells are owned by a family that thinks to make money they must charge more. Everything is 10 cents more than other tacobells. Not a huge ordeal, but when we were kids and saw the 'bean burritos for 59 and they were 69 it was a really big issue. Still today, things are a fraction more than a taco bell in another town and that always chaps my hide. Recently remodeled, so very nice. It is right across from local hs so usuallly many kids. I hope it stays nice for a while... no guarnatees. Drive through is always busy, almost forcing you to eat inside. Used to hang out in the parking lot many many years ago when waiting for things to do on Friday nights. More fun when in High school, annoying now to see those poor shlubs. Oh, but the food is normally ok, and the remodel is nice. I did however, get a crunchwrap that was floppy and soggy in my hands. Made a mess as it fell apart as I tried to hold it. I like taco bell since the price is affordable and my kids love it. But I think MARY F. needs to attend a customer service class. She will definitely benefit from it. This is as good of a Taco Bell as you're going to find, at least in Merced. Drive Thru can be a bit of a pain to enter when it's busy and you need to be careful exiting as lunatics will try to enter from G St when they shouldn't. OK, this is ridiculous, the last week the order was again wrong, it was missing three items, and today on the receipt, three items were "without cheese" due to a lactose intolerant person we were buying for.
