Let me start by saying: I'm a die-hard Taco Bell fan. I grew up on it, never get tired of it, and even worked there briefly during college. When it's made right, it's honestly one of life's simple joys. That said, I was pretty let down by most of the Taco Bell locations I tried while living in Chicago. Orders were often wrong, portions were skimpy, and the meat was usually dry and clearly past its prime. Just an overall disappointing experience. Not to mention overpriced! This location in Monument, CO, though? Total hidden gem. Whether I've come for breakfast or dinner, everything has consistently been made right. Orders are accurate, portions are generous, and the food actually tastes fresh. Service is fast and friendly too. I don't know if it's luck or just a well-run spot, but I'm genuinely impressed every time. Definitely felt obligated to write this review after the several visits I've made to this location. read more

This location is the worst! My "crispy" nacho fries were not only soggy, but the cup was only half full. There was hardly ANY beef in my beef burritos and the burritos were the Suze of taquitos! We got taco supremes, too...but again, hardly ANY beef and the shells were SOGGY! ...and barely ANY sour cream. I am a big fan of Taco Bell. This Taco Bell is one of the worst. If I had my choice, I would eat Taco Bell breakfast at least once a week. They have a great selection and breakfast is their menu best. However, this Taco Bell has not had a working coffee machine in almost two years. I stop there occasionally to get breakfast and see if the machine is fixed...and it never is. We will typically try lunch or dinner here once a month or every other month but are routinely disappointed at the quality of food from this Taco Bell. Service is hit or miss. My only complaint here is with the service I got met with at the window. I placed an online orders and did everything normal. This location was not busy at the time and had no line in the drive through for some more information. I pull up to the window and got met with horrific service for I don't even know why. She asked me order for Zoe but she did it with the most rude tone of voice and look on her face. I said yes for Zoe and she handed me my drink and I said thank you like I normally would. She proceeded not to responded and slammed the window and walked away. I understand people have a bad day so I met her rudeness with being polite. She came back and gave me my food without saying a word so I told her thank you and to have a good rest of your day.... Again no response and the window slammed again. I do not think it's okay to treat anyone like that no matter if you're having a bad day or not. I didn't get a chance to ask her name because of how she slammed the window on me. But she has black curly hair with red dyed tips probably medium length. She also has a nose piercing, I feel like she's hard to not miss if you know who I'm talking about.... Monument Taco Bell has the rudest employees that can't take an order. To top it off we asked for extra napkins and salt packets in the drive through as well as more than the 2 hot sauces they generously gave us for 4 people. The rude employee looked at my husband and dropped 2 more packets in the bag. He said she was mad when he asked her for more. Luckily we stopped in the parking lot to eat and not one napkin for four of us to use!!!! I went inside to get napkins and I couldn't believe when I saw the condiments filled with salt packets!!! Since when is it OK for them to lie to a customer like that ?? As a business owner I'd say never!!!! So I Went to the counter to let them know (by the way )we had not one napkin we asked for extra! I asked for salt and they said Taco Bell didn't carry any. what a bunch of crap and they just looked at me not "I'm sorry," not "we're big fat liars!!! somebody needs to do something about these employees that's just not right. This is perhaps the most horrible Taco Bell location of all time. The last three times I've been to this location, the drive-thru looks like it'll be a fast option till after you place an order and you're stuck in a line of cars you can't escape from. When you finally get to pay and get your food, you end up with missing items or improperly prepared items (don't ever ask to hold or get extra on any item here as it's obviously too difficult a task for the apathetic employees that work here). Oh - and when you explain how they messed up, you get this deer in headlights look with no apology and a lot of reluctance to make it right. AND...if all this wasn't enough reason to never eat here again - the prices at this location are higher than any other Taco Bell in Colorado! You can compare by changing the location in the app and seeing the outrageous prices at Monument's Taco Bell. Well my life long love affair with Taco Bell is over. Every time I drive through, I get home and items are missing. Not sure how much money I've donated to Taco Bell at this point. The food is far below par. Terrible quality. Stale lettuce and chips. Microwaved items that are too tough to chew. Tortillas practically empty. We've thrown so many items in the trash because they were so gross. So I'm not eating here anymore. They used to be much better but went down hill. I moved to Monument about 2 months ago from Colorado Springs. I have eaten at this location 3 or 4 times. I must say I am impressed by how hard the employees work and keep a great attitude. They have had trouble hiring and are regularly short staffed. Tonight, March 13, 2021 I ordered tacos supreme with steak, beans, tomatoes, lettuce, cheese and sour cream from the Taco Bell on Highway 105 in Monument, Colorado. There were maybe 3-4 tiny cubes of steak, a tablespoon of beans, a few shreds of lettuce, virtually no cheese, no sour cream and no tomatoes. In my opinion, the staff and management of this store should be embarrassed by the lack of quality. This is the second time in a row - the last was in February - I have had such poor quality from this store when I ordered tacos supreme. I hope the other stores are doing a better job. read more

I love that unlike the nearby McDonald's, my order is right 95 times out of 100. However, their freeze drink machine is ALWAYS BROKEN. I've probably attempted to order it 30 different times now and I've only been able to get it 2-3 times. If it is always broken, take it off the menu! I have been to this particular Taco Bell several times in the 6 months living in the area. Every single time the presentation is sloppy. When going through the drive thru today, I asked for a quesorito and was told that you can order it online and then come through the drive thru to pick it up, but you cannot order it off the drive thru board while sitting in the drive thru. That is completely asinine. Why can't you order the same from online app to being in the drive thru. They stated it was something corporate was doing to increase the sales.
