I would give zero stars because that is what I walked out with - Nothing. I stood at the counter for 9 minutes watching the small army of employees losing their battle with the drive thru customers. At least 6-7 bags were lined up and they weren't confident the orders were accurate. Again, I was the ONLY one in the lobby area. Confusion reigned to the point that nobody acknowledged me there for those nine minutes. When the Asst. Manager finally did, she said, "We'll be with you in a minute." (Really?) My response at that point was "I've been standing here 10 minutes and no one has even said 'Boo' to me." She turned away like a scared puppy after hearing me, and I stood there another minute. Another (potential) customer came into the lobby around the 5 minute mark, saw that I hadn't ordered yet, then went to the restroom. He came out and saw I still hadn't been helped yet. As I turned around to leave, he looked bewildered. I told him it's been 10 minutes and they're only focused on the drive thru, they're really having problems back there. "10 minutes?" he said as I walked out. I got into my car, sat there and watch for a moment from the rear view mirror. As I backed out, I saw him walking out too. So now, I'm going to say that I see why this location (a combo KFC/Taco Bell) currently has a 2.5 Star rating. FWIW, the regular manager does a fine job, treats his employees with respect and has demonstrated adeptness with taking time to train the newer employees when I've visited the store in the past. I'm a KFC guy. And whether it is the Antioch location, which is extremely on point and incorporates the KFC App (something this Rio Vista location refuses to do for some reason) or this one, I come into one of the two locations probably twice a month. This Rio Vista visit was unacceptable. I'm not the type to chalk it up to "The bar has been low since Covid." To be acknowledged within a reasonable amount of time after entering is common courtesy. I'm happy the other guy who also walked out proved with his feet that he feels the same way. When I receive great service, I've proven here on Yelp! that I will leave a great review. Yelp! has even reached out to me on a few occasions to be one of their Ambassadors (of sorts). When I get extremely subpar service or just get flat out ignored, well, here you go. Learn from it. My inkling was to get some tomatoes and bottled water and grapes from Lira's. The tomatoes were for sandwiches for my lunch at work. Well, a homemade turkey sandwich and red grapes was what I had for dinner. It wasn't the original plan, but I have far too much respect for myself, as did the other potential customer who walked out, to accept crappy and clueless treatment. read more

This is a KFC-Taco Bell spot in Rio Vista. I have had only good experiences with their staff, and that includes the cleanliness of the shop and the expedience from the drive thru as well as dining in. A little attitude this evening from the crew working most part when I usually visit here on a stop prior to home every now and again it's usually encompassed with a pleasant visit. Patience through the microphone when placing my order because I'm not always ready to ask me if there's anything else to please pull forward you know the mannerisms involved. however, I could say my very last visit there was not much attention to detail. I was asked to repeat my order after being asked to provide my order initially and then I was given someone's Taco Bell order when I only ordered from the KFC side. I'm not sure what was involved around that. but besides that encounter, it usually turns out to be a pretty good drive-through experience. I do like how there are two restaurant choices connected, which continues to provide variety selection and choice to the consumer. It was simple, ch/ques ( came completely cold, cheese not melted, chicken cold, not cut at all), three bean n cheese burritos, 2 of the three cold. 5 layer burrito, came cold. mac n cheese, forgot to give it to us so had to go back after leaving drive through. chicken sandwich, actually hot, but came plain, no mayo, asked for no pickles, guess they got that right. read more

I walked into our KFC/Taco Bell in Rio Vista, ca today. There were 3 people working. One just standing in the back, one working the drive thru and another person. They ALL acknowledged me. One lady said that someone would be with me shortly. But NO ONE DID. I stood at the counter for over 10 minutes and STILL NO ONE waited on me. So I walked out. They weren't even friendly, it was almost like they didn't want to be there. If that's the case, then FIND ANOTHER JOB. But if you want people to keep coming back, Then have some fricken manners. This serves both Kentucky Fried Chicken and Taco ell. It has been remodeled and is clean and bright. I like their chicken dinners.

Just need to say that yes this is like other Taco Bells but the nice thing is that prices are usually lower than other Taco Bells. For example for $5 you can get a Chalupa Cravings box where you get a Beef Chalupa supreme, a Beef Burrito supreme, and a Beef soft Taco Cinamon twists and a fountain drink. I assume this is a limited time offer and you can get a Veggie version. I tried to get this deal at another Taco Bell and they were charging $7. So come on down to Rio Vista. read more

I do not need to write a review about Taco Bell's food, since I will assume most people in the Bay Area, even California, have tried Taco Bell at least once. No, this review is strictly for the severe lack of service. In the year that I have lived in this town, I have probably eaten at this Taco Bell 20-40 times, give or take. I will estimate that the service started going down hill approximately six months ago. Why have I returned despite the crappy experiences? Because I live in Bumfuct, Egypt, with few restaurant options, even fewer open late. First of all, do not even attempt to order anything as late as 20 minutes before their posted closing times. They have already put all the food away and cleaned everything by this time. Keeping the doors unlocked and answering the drive-thru speaker is only a formality. Assuming you get served, do NOT leave the counter or window until you have confirmed everything you ordered has been given to you. You better also check the receipt because they will forget to even key in one or more of the things you have ordered. Sadly, if you have made it this far then you have in front of you items with so little ingredients, it would have been cheaper and less of a hassle to go home and make dinner from the food in the back of the cupboard - the last resort food. Vegetarians eat more meat in a month than these Taco Bell chefs put in one taco. Will I return? Unfortunately, probably. That's the trade-off for living out in the sticks with cleaner air and parking all over town. read more

I'm amazed this place is even open still...I only ordered two combos. One was something XXL burrito with a crunchy taco and a large drink. The other was just a combo burrito with a crunchy taco and a large drink. I got the XXL burrito and 3 crunchy tacos and the two large drinks...how do you mess that up??? Seriously...I was already way too far away to go back, but my gosh...we were very upset. Not to mention the amount of taco meat in the tacos was less than the width of my pinky...I wanted to just throw all the tacos away, was pointless to even eat them. I actually found a rather large piece of lettuce in one of the tacos that looked so gross and wilted, you could see right through it...YUCK! This Taco Bell sucks. I don't even go here anymore and I eat TB like 3 times a week. I work in Vacaville so I just go to a location there. I haven't been to this one for over a year because I got so fed up with the poor service, the disgusting food (seriously, are these last year's beans?) and the creepy manager. I complained to corporate one time, and after that the manager was constantly asking me if my food was correct and how it tasted, and was just up my butt. Okay, I get it...you want to make sure I don't tell on you again...but there is a difference between satsifying a customer and creeping them the hell out. And I am creeped out. Unless I'm mistaken and Rio Vista can support more than one Taco Bell, this was the one I visited a few years back. While the food was passable, the service was ridiculously slow. If you want fast food, just keep driving to McDonald's down the street! These people overcharge you and won't fix their mistake! I went through the drive-thru, and ordered a small meal. I had a friendly chat with the cashier, paid with my credit card, and noticed when I left that I did not get a receipt from her. "Oh well", I figured. When I went home, I checked my account balance and found that the cashier had overcharged me by $5! That was the reason for the chit-chat and no receipt. I called Taco Bell and spoke with the manager, who told me that since I had no receipt, she couldn't do anything about it. I wrote the corporate headquarters and email regarding the problem, and I never heard any response. The least they could have done was send me a coupon, they didn't even have the prudence to do that! just left this place ordered a shredded chicken burrito, beefy nacho griller and Cinnabon delights... the SHREDDED chicken burrito didn't even have shredded chicken it was cubed as if the person who made it got lazy. The beefy nacho griller tasted like it had been sitting there for awhile and the Cinnabon delights were cold. Considering I had to wait about 10 minutes for my stuff it's a little odd to me that everything was horrible. Also, there was not a single car behind me and when they gave me my bag I had asked if I could add something on for my toddler and they said I had to go back around... but there's no one behind me! YVETTE. IS AMAZING! The food is good typical Taco Bell fare, but what sets it aside is the service! Everyone here is always super nice and I now know must by name since me and my family come here every Sunday for our lunch snack. I left my expensive handbag w/iPad and Cash in it by accident and just knew it would be gone as they get many travelers being on hwy 12 but I called and got Yvette who just started her shift and did a cleaning round and found it, yay! Her honesty and integrity of keeping the store clean made for a very happy customer! As a director in a large corporation I can tell you this is the kind of people you want working for you! If Taco Bell doesn't promote her I just might have to steal her for myself!!! Again great store and I hope management really appreciates Yvette as much as I do! read more
