Combo restaurant of Taco Bell and KFC
    Jonnita W.

A little attitude this evening from the crew working most part when I usually visit here on a stop prior to home every now and again it's usually encompassed with a pleasant visit. Patience through the microphone when placing my order because I'm not always ready to ask me if there's anything else to please pull forward you know the mannerisms involved. however, I could say my very last visit there was not much attention to detail. I was asked to repeat my order after being asked to provide my order initially and then I was given someone's Taco Bell order when I only ordered from the KFC side. I'm not sure what was involved around that. but besides that encounter, it usually turns out to be a pretty good drive-through experience. I do like how there are two restaurant choices connected, which continues to provide variety selection and choice to the consumer. So if you have a preference over one versus the other, then you should be.

If I could rate a zero, I would. I'm allergic to tomatoes and specifically asked please please, no tomatoes. A few bites in, this is what I get. This is the third time they've royally jacked up a SIMPLE request or an order within the last week. They're rude and could care less about the customer. Never again.

This has been a problem for several months. At this point it's become more than a childish act and has entered the realm of harassment. I pay for my girlfriends food every time and it comes out like this every time a particular employee works. The manager Rubin is the one responsible as every time he's not there the food is normal. All I want is professionalism, accountability, and responsibility. Corporate will be involved if this persists. That is a promise I intended to keep.

I particularly appreciate that the picnic tables all have umbrellas and are spacious and sturdy, which is important for those of us in bigger bodies' comfort. The food was absolutely delicious. The kiddo got the grilled cheese and tots, and the owner Misty even let her pick out her own juice box which she absolutely loved. My fiancée and I got burgers, he got tots and I got the sweet potato fries. Everything was delicious, fresh and hot. The burgers were thick and juicy, and definitely made fresh, not frozen. Misty recommended trying their sriracha honey which was amazing on everything. We had such a great experience and only wish we lived closer as we would definitely be regulars.

There's a nice patio area and the inside has a surprising section of tables and chairs (it's small). We knew this place was good as soon as we saw how packed it was and how many people kept coming in. We ordered the crispy taco with asada, a grilled fish taco, an asada burrito, and quesabirria tacos. Everything was amazing! The crispy taco had a nice crunch to it and did not get soggy. The asada was well seasoned. The fish taco was delish and I enjoyed the sauce that was on top. My husband enjoyed his burrito and my MIL said the Quesabirria tacos were really good. My husband inhaled his carne asada taco bowl and gave it a 10/10, even though it was hotter than usual too. The kids' bean, rice, and cheese burrito was massive, like "this could feed two small humans" massive, and totally worth the price. Their chicken quesadilla tasted good but fell apart because the chicken chunks were big and it needed more cheese to hold everything together. Now... the noise inside? Girl. It was like being inside a baseball stadium. My kids instantly slapped their hands over their ears and begged to sit outside. We moved to the patio, which was fine, but it was warm and the indoor tables are mostly for three people, so not ideal for a family of four. Sangria was amazing though, and overall we still had a great time. Guads stays in the rotation whenever we're in Davis.

I ordered a carnitas bowl with black beans, rice, and all the toppings you'd typically find in a carnitas burrito, while my wife went with a cheese quesadilla. While waiting for our food, I enjoyed a bottle of Pacifico and some chips and salsa. The salsa had a nice balance, not too spicy and not too mild. The carnitas were tender and flavorful, and the bowl was filling without feeling overly heavy, and my wife was happy with her quesadilla as well. The restaurant has a bright, inviting atmosphere with both indoor and outdoor seating. A couple of tables hadn't been cleaned yet when we arrived, but we quickly found a clean spot and settled in. The food arrived promptly, and overall we had a very enjoyable meal. I'd definitely stop here again.

The last time I came by after 6 p.m., they had already sold out of the Garlic Shrimp and Chipotle Pineapple Pork--the two meats I was there to try. This time, I got the chance. I ordered the Queso Tacos, which come with three tacos and your choice of meat (fish and shrimp are available for an additional charge). They're topped with sour cream, Parmesan cheese, onions, and cilantro. Unfortunately, the tacos were only ok. The Chipotle Pineapple Pork was a bit too salty and oily. The Garlic Shrimp was also disappointing. The shrimp had become soft instead of having a nice bite, the shells were mushy, and the generous amount of sour cream overpowered the flavor. I was hoping for a little more texture and crispness. I also tried both the green and red salsas, but neither one stood out to me, as they were both pretty mild and didn't add much flavor to the tacos. The girl was nice though, she answered all of my questions. If I were to try this place again, maybe I'd try the street tacos or their bowl.
