Little worried about not having a drive-through, but everything is expected as good as you can get to Taco Bell

I placed an online order for pick up at this location. I arrived and my order was ready in two minutes. This is a newer location compared to the other location just a few miles away. They do not have a drive through window. Only in store pick up. The inside was nicely decorated for Christmas and very clean. There are tables inside for dining in. There were quite a few people there when I arrived. My order was executed perfectly. Even my specifications were done correctly. My food was still hot when I arrived home and they gave me plenty of taco sauce. My order tasted great. I will probably order from this location again. read more

Fast for pick up mobile order. I ate inside. For a fast food joint, this Taco Bell has updated signage & touch screens to order. Staff is well presented & friendly. It is overall clean & new (could be swept & wipe down more often, but hey it's fast food). Location is in a nice, family friendly area. It's right next to a strip mall filled with other food & hardware supply store. Almaden lake is around the corner. Very safe. I came at 5pm on a Tuesday & it was families/ old people. Customers come a diverse background (white, Asian, black, Hispanic, etc). Some fast food places attract a strange crowd but not this one. Food was prepared correctly & wasn't messed up. Placed an online order at 7:17, received a text at 7:35 to head to the counter because the order was ready. 8:06pm and food still isn't ready but they marked it complete half an hour prior. Smh.. one guy was waiting who put in a smaller order and he was still waiting. This was the slowest service Taco Bell. Should've drove up a little further to the Taco Bell on Capitol Expwy. Got the order finally at 8:10pm and even after asking the workers on 5 separate occasions if our order was ready they had first said: No it's we never got your order yet. No it's not ready. Not afraid to admit that I get down on TB. It's a guilty pleasure for sure--especially the crack nacho cheese. And now after downloading their app to my phone, which has specials and the build-your-own craving box, it could become a serious problem. Have self control, me, have self control. Wife and I recently had fairly busy work days and realized it was past dinner time, so we decided to grab Taco Bell. Placed an order online and then drove over. Food wasn't quite ready when we got there, but the wait was short and the food was still fresh by the time we got home to eat. Don't lie, you love Taco Bell too. I've been a fan for years and not one bit guilty. Oh maybe when I use like 5 fire sauces on one taco, just maybe. The reason why I am giving this location 5 stars is that they recently upgraded the interior and it has a fresh new look to it. The people who work here are very nice. Once I stopped in to eat (I usually take it to go) and my arm bumped my drink and in catching that I dropped a taco from my tray onto the floor. It landed right side up, but a manager quickly ran over and grabbed it. He replaced my taco with a brand new one. He was so quick and insisted on replacing it, I thanked him for being so nice. You're better off going to the one 1.4 miles away because this old school location has tight and crappy parking, outside bathrooms, a small dining room, and a homeless person or two. It's Taco Smell. Been meaning to get this one out for a while. This is probably the worse taco bell location in SW San Jose. The bathrooms are outside and unmonitored. Last time I ate here some hobo was in the bathroom for 15 minutes while my daughter waited for it to become vacant. Indoors the place hasn't been remodeled in years. This Taco Bell sadly is a waste of space. I ordered 2 things 1 being a drink the other food. There were 4 others that came in the door and ordered after me. I did not receive my food. Then when inquired as to the why I was met with attitude from the kitchen staff including the manager. The manager Rocio looked at me and proceeded to make another's food which was the 5th order since mine (yes everyone got theres and left) and then proceeded to roll her eyes at the young cashier when I told him I wanted a refund. No "I'm sorry" nor acknowledgement from the manager just taking my receipt. The young cashier apologized to me as I walked out. I feel funny rating a fast food place so highly, but I genuinely think this location is the best Taco Bell I've ever been to. I've been coming here since high school (10+yrs). Love that the employees here are always so nice and that are really good at maintaining the quality of the food. I've never had any of my food that was premade and just lying there in a warmer for hours. Any time I order, I always see them making everything to-order which I really appreciate. This aspect is always a perk when it comes to ordering fried things (chalupas, chips, fries, etc.) cuz nothing ever comes to you stale. Love that all the fried things that I order are always warm and crispy. Any time I'm craving Taco Bell, I am only talking about the food that comes out from this particular establishment. Despite the homeless people outside this place often, I'd say this is a very clean and well kept Taco Bell! There's a private parking lot with ample parking and some seats outside as well. Service is very fast and friendly, and the sauce containers are always kept full. I always come for their Nacho Big Box, such a great value! Definitely would return. read more

A solid 4.5. The food was "Taco Bell Food" I really expect nothing less or nothing more. What was the exceptional thing was the service I received. The boy at the counter was so courteous and thoughtful I was astounded for a fast food restaurant. But had it been only one employee I would probably still skip a Yelp review, but while waiting for my food a second employee was asking another customer were there they wanted a tray for the two drinks she was holding awaiting her food order. This is interesting because of two things. One-I eat fast food probably less than three times a year at most. Two-and if I do decide to eat it, I would never write a review for it. Tonight, the hubs and I had the late night munchies and decided to grab some Taco Bell before catching a late night movie together. I head over to this taco bell and ordered those new tacos made with actual corn tortillas and was pleasantly surprised! They were actually good and at the price what a deal! This Taco Bell is more or less across the street from Orchard Supply Warehouse, it has a small car park but it is never busy. This place really needs a fresh coat of paint, looks somewhat run down from the outside. The staff is attentive and does repeat your order to ensure you have it correctly. They carry the staple Taco Bell menu as it is a franchise. No drive through at this restaurant, dine in or carry out only. Cheap take on mexican fast food. 3 stars read more

Strange to say that I've been here a few times in the past, but I have come again more recently after their interior renovation. I was surprised to see the place nicely spruced up after all these years. I ordered 2 Baja Chalupas and one Fresco hard taco. I was glad to see that the Chalupas outer taco was warm and newly crisped. Some taco bell's will serve you these hot, which is kind of a let down in my eyes. Anyhow, I am happy with the food and quick service here. There is another newer Taco Bell on Camden that seems to be more expensive than this one. I think I'm going to stick to this location for now on, even though they don't have a drive through. read more
