I have nothing but trouble when I go here. I have been pretty hesitant to make this. Every single time I go here they forget my nacho cheese, they forget to remove the ingredients I'm allergic too and other things. My most recent trip is what triggered this review. I ordered the new Catalina chicken. What I received was a dark meat and the shell was completely broken. They didn't add my extra cheese, but they don't forget to charge you. I called and spoke with a manager and informed her, she said that's how they come. She literally said the tacos come broken! She was very hesitant about writing my name down so I can come in for a remake. Mind you it was -5 and I had to go to work. I will definitely drive to Dixon next time. read more

It's really hard for me to rate something five stars as the restaurant and food need to be on point at all times no matter what; But I'm a say that this Taco Bell has consistently delivered correct tasty food time and time again with friendly people and he's in service. I think that Taco Bell is on the rise it's employees and food are getting better and better quality service; And I think that the more positive reinforcement we have going will create the community we are looking for. read more

Sterling IL- sigh, this location... Is so disappointing. For start the portion sizes and give down greatly over the years for the prices that just keep going up up up, and for how much you pay same how little you get your expect to at least be treated like A person by the staff but, no. The wait time at the counter not just to order but any reason to need staffs attention is outrageous. 10+ minutes just to get noticed and then 10+ minutes for whatever you ordered out needed. Otherwise extremely rude staff, dine in or drive thru, and they definitely sight keep the place clean. Honestly I didn't think anyone working there even knows how to clean. And don't expect them to get your order right. Born, raised, and still living in this town and I've watched this place just keep going further down hill. Now it's staffed by a bunch of idiots who didn't know how to make a taco or read a screen. Items might be missing and customizations might be wrong. It's argue you've got about a 90% chance of having the same experience as it's been the same for me every time for the last several years. Would NOT recommend. Sadly. read more

This is probably one of the saddest Taco Bell's I've been to. I almost always either get my food wrong, missing an item, or even both. It's filled with teenagers and young adults with attitude problems. My order taker put ice in my hot coffee just because she was having a bad day. My food was also wrong. Every single time I order a spicy taco light sauce i get extra sauce. It's stupid but happens every single time and I don't understand why. Went for chicken quesadillas and Doritos locos supreme, ordered two of each. Was informed they had no ground beef, only steak or chicken. Horrible slow service. Nobody working the cash register. I had to remind them twice about my mobile order and waited over half an hour for food. The first employee I spoke to walked off without responding to me. The second informed me that they hadn't even started making my food-- nearly 30 minutes after the order was placed! People had come in, ordered, eaten, and left by the time they even realized I'd placed an order. To make things worse, they tried to apologize with free food-- which was a nice gesture, but my order ended up taking even longer!! The last thing I wanted to do was spend 40 minutes after a stressful day of work waiting at the Taco Bell. 90 fewer seconds spent in there would've been a better apology than a spare taco I didn't order. To add to this, the restaurant was also gross. There was a pile of food and trash in the kitchen clearly visible from the dining area that was not swept up the entire time I was there. Also, flies! Tacos were missing most of the meat. There was more sourcream and tomatoes than meat..shrinkflation I guess?? They never have Mexican pizzas. The beans have hard pellets in them. They are sloppy as hell at this location. I will goto the little taco shop across the street before returning to this taco hell. read more

Can any Taco Bell get more than 3 stars? Hey, it's a Taco Bell, primarily used to sustain life at little cost to the wallet/purse. That being said, this store is good at getting what you want correctly and promptly. They also greet you at the drive-through with a, "How are you today?" instead of an annoying, "Hey! Wanna try the newest version of a taco, even though you're going to order something else??" All in all a good quick place to grab some lunch for literally a few bucks. read more

I ordered a taco 12 pack with beef, cheese, and lettuce, and to add tomatoes to 6 of them. I didn't think that was too hard to understand. What I got was 12 ice cold tacos with a very small amount of beef and a little bit of cheese that didn't even fill 1/3 of the shell. There was no lettuce on any of them and absolute no tomatoes. I was charged $2.70 to put tomatoes on 6 tacos and I didn't even get 1 piece of tomato. I didn't say anything about lettuce, so, not sure why I didn't get lettuce either. I was also asked if I wanted sauce, and said yes please, but, guess what, not 1 pack of sauce was included. Why do you even ask if you're not gonna put it in the bag?? I was in the drive-thru for over 20 minutes and didn't know about the issues until I got home. I wasn't about to drive back at 7pm at night. I didn't think I would have to examine the tacos before driving off. I might as well have thrown 23 bucks in the garbage because it would have been the same as what I got from your restaurant. I understand places are short-handed, but, if your staff can't handle a 12 pack taco order, then maybe the Owner or Store Manager needs to be onsite during every business hour before you have 0 customers left. read more
