After not eating at Taco Bell for a long time my wife and I were totally pleased with our dinner. Burrito Supreme is always a go to but adding a non-menu item Enchirito was fantastic! Great service but there were a couple of tables where the prior patrons simply left there mess which was totally uncalled for. This is the friendliest Taco Bell I have ever experienced. The employees are very cheerful and welcoming, even at 7:00 am. I often visit Taco Bell to grab a quick breakfast when I am traveling, if I am short on time. And breakfast options can be limited in some of the places I travel for work so sometimes Taco Bell is the best option available. I really like this location, it's always clean and the food is hot and fresh. The employees are always friendly and helpful. The grilled breakfast burrito is a good option, a substantial and tasty burrito for only $1. read more

I've been coming here every week for a few years now and this place has for sure improved. Sometimes the lobby gets pretty chilly but if you ask, they will be willing to turn up the temp. They have a new person in charge of this store which seems to be pretty good. They get pretty busy tho during some lunches but A LOT of dinners too. If you go with intentions of "fast" food, expect to have a little longer wait times but the food once you get it, makes up for the time. I see everyone here tries to make sure the job is getting done as smooth as possible, given that during 11am-12pm is the busier lunch and 5-7 is the busier dinner rush. I've been apologized to for the long wait times due to big door dashes that cannot be controlled when they come in. I've witnessed a couple door dashers who just walked out because they didn't want to wait. I get it, but with more people coming to these fast food places then there are workers and with the bigger orders that are put in, they should be given a little extra patience. read more

This place kind of sucks to put it bluntly. It goes through it's waves, not sure if they transfer management and workers between other Taco Bell locations or what, but this place has been on a serious decline as of late. I work just a couple of minutes away so it SHOULD be a good quick lunch option...should being the keyword. The last 2 visits it was 15+ Minutes for the food to be done. That's NOT fast food. Besides the slow service the employee's do the absolute bare minimum while working. The location on 164 and Capital in Pewaukee is much better. read more

Taco Bell located in Sussex, Wisconsin, looks like yet another forgettable fast food restaurant that sits on the side of a busy highway, waiting for hungry customers. And it is. Nothing is unique about its location or the aesthetic of the building. It looks like all the other 7,000 locations around the world. Taco Bell's rather sheepish appearance does leave a distasteful impression before customers can even taste their meal. So when I pulled up to this location for the first time, I was taken aback by the line of customers that snaked the drive-through. As I approached the ordering screen, I was greeted with a warm welcome before I ordered my beefy 5-layer burrito, 2 Dorritos locos tacos, nacho fries, 2-pack of cinnamon delights, and a refreshing Baja blast. As I advanced to the window, a kind smile handed me my bag and my drink. As I drove off, checking to make sure they correctly prepared my order, I was overwhelmed with joy to find that instead of 2-pack cinnamon delights, I was gifted a 6-pack. I pulled over to text my best friend and explained the delightful surprise. As I was pulled over, I slurped on my Baja blast, wafted the sweet smell of my cinnamon delights, and unwrapped the tightly packaged burrito, inspecting its beefiness before determining that it was more than worthy to go in my mouth. I pulled out my mild sauce, drenching the flavor over the burrito that sat plain. I slowly sunk my teeth into the burrito while exploding flavor crashed against my tastebuds. The meat mixed with the drizzled cheese was extraordinary, and the flavor was enhanced even more by the mild sauce that added the kick of jalapeno peppers mixed with the sharp garlic and onion after taste. By the time I arrived at the refried beans, I had convinced myself that nothing would ruin the moment. Although the beans were rather tasteless and unappealing, my mild sauce spiced them up and gave life to an otherwise unappetizing portion of the burrito. Despite the disappointment with the beans, I was quickly drawn back to the meat that smoked with steam, and the cheese that made me weak in the knees with its warm, gooey drizzle. The customer service was also extraordinary. Most fast-food workers can be unfriendly given the fact that it is an extremely stressful job that not many people appreciate. But The staff went out of their way to greet me, ask how I was doing at the window, thank me for my order, and wish me a good day. Although Taco Bell in Sussex, WI, may seem uninteresting, Delicious, mouth-watering, savory meals at this location will always have their pros and cons, however, the pros will always substantially outrun the cons. The staff is incredibly rude, and interrupted multiple times while I was ordering. I am absolutely repulsed at how I was treated, I have never been so disrespected at a Taco Bell before. Ok, we've eaten here before and folks are always very pleasant to talk to but this time I decided to use the Taco Bell app to order. The app was a bit glitchy and not as intuitive is it should be (the adding additional item button didn't work and I couldn't order a diet Mt. Dew drink) but it took my order. I pulled up to the drive-through, gave my name and they instantly recognized and verified my order- very simple. I asked if the hard shell taco could be changed to soft shell and was very politely told that because of the special offer I was using (build your own cravings box) substitutions were not permitted and they had to adhere to only the items listed in the app. No biggie but they were happy to change my drink the Diet Mt. Dew. As I pulled up to the window, the extremely friendly attendant said, " We changed the hard taco to soft hard for you." Nice. This little store really works hard to makes their customers happy. GO TO A DIFFERENT TACO BELL. Waited in the drive thru line for over 45 mins. Just wanted to stop somewhere quick on my way home and had to wait a ridiculously long time for two burritos. There were over ten cars in the drive thru. I have never waited so long at a fast food place. Worst part is none of the employees apologized for the wait or was at all friendly. I don't know what happened to this location but will never turn back here!!! There is no reason had to wait in the lobby 30mins for my order when there were 4 employees on site .The customers were all in a up roar and promise to never come back. Went into this Taco Bell on a Saturday afternoon and we were the only customers at the drive though. My husband had asked if there were beans on a specific type of burrito. There were beans on it, so he asked for it without beans..twice. At the drive though speaker and at the window he double checked to make sure they didn't put any beans on it and the employee said "no beans?". After we left he took a bite beans oozed out of it. We did get our money back but was pretty disappointed with the disregard for what we had specified. read more

So they just opened like a week ago. I'm trying to be nice and cut them some slack as most of them are wide-eyed and have no idea what they are doing. We stopped in on a Tuesday night at like 7:30pm. It was totally busy which is great for it being new. It was not great for us as they forgot a burrito in our order and then we had to wait for like 15 minutes for them to make one. The rest of our order was pretty much cold by then but hey they gave us a free empanada. That made up for it.... I would highly recommend driving to the Taco Bell on Capital Drive instead. We literally spent 40mins in the drive through waiting for our food. And the lady taking our order was not very polite either. From now on I will definitely make the extra drive to the one on Capital because I'll still get my food way sooner. read more
