Tried this for the first time. Keep driving by this place. Ordered cheese enchiladas and I get tortillas rolled up with cheese inside. Not even melted. No sauce on top. Just dry tortillas. Threw in garbage as that is where it belonged. read more

One of my favorite spots in anaheim! On tuesday tacos are 95 cents. They serve big meat portions & its seasoned great. Green salsa(mild) is a must! The service is always fast & the employees are very friendly. read more

Wow... I am speech less I have never had such 5 star service at a taco shop before. Taco boy went above and beyond in costumer service and the food is fantastic not to mention they have a variety of Mexican food items on their menu I loved the burrito and the salsa is the best.. This place has the worse tacos known to man. I think they gather cats and use the meat for tacos. Seriously the meat taste stale and tortillas are hard with no flavor. I wouldn't take my worst enemy there for lunch. I think they should just pack it up and leave Anaheim. read more

I ordered rolled tacos with cheese and guacamole only, I got tacos with cheese and green juice drizzled on top. Guacamole essence?? My husband ordered a Carne asada burrito and it had rice packed into it and super tiny. We only learned after coming back to our hotel that that was the worst place to go to. DON'T GO!!!! I just called the shop to ask why they think this is acceptable. I asked how they make a Carne asada burrito, they described my husband's burrito. I then said no, it should come with carne, cheese, guacamole and pico. He then said "oh an all meat burrito?" I then asked what do they provide when someone asked for rolled tacos with cheese and guacamole only? He said "that" and I said "so why do my rolled tacos have cheese dust and green sauce drizzeled, no guacamole?" He said "because we don't have guacamole here." That floored me. I then asked "do you not have any avocados?" He said no. I then asked how he can call himself a Mexican restaurant and he said I was the only complaint. I then mentioned our hotel staff, all Mexican, said we went to the wrong place because this place sucks. So I guess I'm the only one that brought it to attention. That.....a Mexican taco shop......serve Mexican food correctly.......and have guacamole???? Is that too much to ask????? read more

ok first of all, I have not seen one review of what is their BEST stuff, order the 3 TACOS DORADOS W/ CARNE ASADA. along with their red salsa and I PROMISE you will go back. Hands down has been one of our all time favorites @ work. Please people try these. Also the one on Anaheim Blvd (part of franchise) is where we started..... Did fail to mention that location can be seedy at times, although that can be a sign of an authentic hole in the wall! read more

Came here last night for a late night mexican food craving, and from the reviews, I expected better. I strolled in around 11pm and there wasn't really much to expect. I ordered the carne asada tacos and my bf ordered the flautas. I have to say, the food was average. Their salsa was the only thing that I liked about it, it was spicy!! Other than that, ehh.. I flew out from Miami and was craving some serious Mexican tacos. My nephew took me to Taco Boy and what a great choice. I only had two items but they were delicious. The carne asada tacos were great and they had a certain seasoning on them that made them perfect. I also had the shrimp ceviche tostada. It was full of shrimp and only $4!!. read more

I'm not sure what all the fuss, I didn't think the tacos were that great. I wouldn't go back just for the tacos...maybe if they were only 75 cents, but not sure if the drive would be worth it. This place has great food at a reasonable price. Taco Tuesdays are becoming a weekly thing for me. Customer service is great and the food is made fairly quick. The tacos and nacho are really good. The only complaint I have is the how attentive the place is about how clean it i. Mot of the time you'll find a table with food, crumbs and napkins, or the tables will feel greasy. You can always tell how authentic a mexican taco shop is when they serve the following: grilled Onions Grilled green onions Vinegary Carrots Slew of Salsa Serve Lingua and perhaps even Pastor (often imitated, but never the real thing) You know its authentic when: Actual mexican people eat there late at night They salt their tacos and put lime on it Otherwise, my rating for this place is that its okay. Their meats are pre-cooked and put on the grill, they pastor is not meaty enough (it was cut up too much-killing its texture), but i will say the tortilla was nicely grilled and crispy. Go if your hungry, but otherwise only expect the best! read more

So I gave this place 4 stars before, but after some thought I'm gonna give this place a generous 3 stars. Their carne asada fries are really bomb. I prefer it here because they make their fries nice kinda like McDonald's fries but not as oily. I really do like their carne asada fries here, but all their other food here is just OK. I'm always pretty satisfied with the food here, but nothing to write home about. From now on I'm just gonna come here for the carne asada fries. read more

Salsa needs improving!! Good soft tacos!! I had carnitas and it was very good!! Hard shell were just ok. The carne asada nachos were just ok..wouldn't order again. But if you're in the mood for soft tacos you won't be disappointed!! I would give 4 stars if their salsa was better. read more
