This location is flat out horrible. They make the orders correctly less than half the time, their staff is usually rude as they can be. I drive for a delivery service and I've had several orders from here that are really really messed up. I come to this location over any other because it's always fresh and fast. I came tonight around 11 (2 hours before close) and was told they were out of beef. Being a manager of a restaurant, how do you run out of something that makes up 80% oh your entire menu?? Also if they were really out how will you have it for open? This place has gone downhill fast! I used to go to this place every day or every other day. In the past several months they tend to close down earlier than what their hours say. I have gone through the drive-through and asked the employees if they are closed and they always say yes - always. And although it is 9:30 to 9:45 PM. Today I asked the employee at the drive-through what time they close each night he said 10 PM I confirmed with him and he said yes 10 PM each night. On the drive-through window there is a sign that has the hours and each night it clearly states 10:30 PM. About a week ago I went through and ask the employee if they were closing and he just nodded and then rolled his eyes. What is wrong with you guys?? Do you want your loyal customers to stay loyal?? I say "hello???" and a lady says "I'LL BE RIGHT WITH YOU!" So another 5 min pass. Again I say "hello?" She says "BE RIGHT THERE!!!" This whole time there has been a silver SUV at the pickup window and we can see her talking to them. No one else is in front of us, but 3 other cars are now behind me. Again I say "hello?" no answer. We've now been waiting 20 minutes to order. So I go ahead and pull up behind the SUV at the window and can hear them laughing, so I guess it's a friend of hers. FINALLY they pull away and I pull up. She comes to the window and I say "I wasn't able to order back there because no one ever came back to take my order" to which she says "Sweetie I don't know how to say this, but there is no way I can take your order here!" I was looking for a quick taco fix when I was doing some shopping on May and thought I would give this place a try. I liked how the place looks updated and nice both on the inside and out. When I went they seemed to be terribly understaffed... not sure if this is an every day thing... but the guy who took our order mentioned that it was only him and another manning the front, drive-thru, and preparing the food. They seriously under-stuff their tacos when it comes to meat, but over-stuff when it comes to cheese (unfortunately for me, I like it the other way around)! After explaining the situation in the drive through in a manner that I thought was very respectful and polite, I was told that I could have one of my mexi dip and chips because that was all that was on the note. We have always liked Taco Bueno and seriously missed it when we were out of state for several years. When we returned, we came by right away to the one on NW Exp., where we always ate in the past. We went 3 times, and all 3 times, the dining room was just plain dirty in the late afternoon, not the lunch or dinner rush. We have been going from Bueno to Bueno, hoping to find a clean one here in the city, but no, this one was the same. Not a single clean table, food crumbs on the bench seats, only etc. So much dust around the self-serve areas, you know they are not tended often. Filthy windows and restroom. No paper towels. How can any owner/manager/employee not understand basic hygiene? How do we know the kitchen is any cleaner? It is no longer an issue for us. Three strikes is all a restaurant gets, and we move on. After difficult ordering in drive through pulled up to window and payed,then realized my order was wrong .Female attendant says yeah I know you had two nacho orders instead of one so she charges me additional money.I asked for Mucho nacho with no beans,no chili sauce,and no tomatoes but would instead take extra cheese and sour cream on the side .
