I have driven thru this location atleast 20+ times after I get off work (usually between 10:30-midnight) and they never seem to get my order right. The staff is rude to boot. Egg and Potato Tacos - Awesome! This is about the only thing I have ever ordered in the numerous times I've been here and highly recommend it. I also recommend adding the chorizo. The quality of the Salsa bar is variable. They have a mean Pineapple Chipotle Salsa which I recommend. The Pico was frozen the last time I was there which was disappointing. I grabbed a few packets of salt and pepper on my way out for the Tacos and half of them had no salt or pepper. That probably is a quality control issue with the people selling the condiments to TC though. read more

I've been through the drive through 3 times in the past 2 weeks picking up orders for coworkers. On each visit, the order has been messed up. They rush you off so quickly that it is very difficult to thoroughly check the order while still in the car line, and by the time I get back to the office, I discover items missing (chips, sour cream, queso, etc), or the order is wrong (tomatos were put on the brisket quesadilla when they never had been before, and the person ordering is allergic). We likely won't be back, but those who do, be sure to check all the bags in your order to make sure you got what you ordered! read more

We paid about 3 bucks for a quick snack- we wanted to be out pretty quickly. 30 minutes after ordering our 2 tacos, we're still waiting. We went up and asked, and apparently they forgot about us. The food was sitting there, cold. We asked to double the order since, after all, they literally forgot about us. They did as requested, so I'll give them that... All things COLD..:( After seeing Taco cabana ads in TV, I thought this would be a good place to have a quick lunch. No, I was wrong, very disappointed. I like tacos, so I decided to try Shrimp Tampico taco and Steak street tacos. They said no free chips so I paid for Chips and Guacamole. I got my food 5 or 10 mins later. Unwrapped the tacos...both my shrimp and Steak steak streak tacos were just warm (not hot) and about to get cold. Shrimp "Whatever" Taco - They should probably change the name to "Boiled shrimp Taco". Shrimp wasn't cooked properly, no hint of spice and watery thing (I don't want to call it as food juice) drips from the taco. Not good. Steak Street taco - This taco tasted like shredded beef taco. Again, it was warm. Amount of beef was so small like just a spoon, in a 2 palm sized tortillas and some onions. It was a three pack, which means you will get 3 steak street tacos. Believe me I found a thumb sized bone in one of the tacos. That's it, I stopped eating the food and decided to stop eating the tacos, have some chips and get out. Chips and Guacamole - It was served late. I thought they were frying inside. Nope I was wrong again. Cold chips and was sooo oily like the chips were "pre-dipped" in some dip except that the dip was oil. So I used my napkin to get rid of the oil, dipped my chip in Guacamole and tasted it. Oh man! Oh man! (the bad oh man!) guacamole was deadly COLD..!!! Like they took a scoop out of the refrigerator or from the freezer, and it tasted old and bad. It tasted like one of the guacamole powder mix that you would get in supermarkets. I'm DONE, not gonna take another bite. I looked at my friend who ordered Shrimp "whatever" taco plate. He said they served him the wrong beans (he asked black beans but they served pinto), cold food, same shrimp story as mine. So we threw our food and got out. Never going back here again. read more

After getting off of work my husband and I decided to get something quick and simple we ordered(and confirmed 4 times) a large chicken quesadilla w/pico no guacamole, the chicken fajitas, lrg Dr. Pepper, lrg. Sopapia w/ honey and a 3 oz. queso. My order was totally incorrect and cold after waiting in line for 30+ minutes, no utensils or napkins were provided, no apologies from the cashier or managers. We still had to go back in to get what we ordered after waiting in the drive thru for the correct order and still no empathy. This is the second time I've experienced this at this location. The staff is rude and does not listen, food is served cold because they are standing around talking while customers wait. Condiments are never fresh. I PAID over $22.00 for that horrible service. I WILL be voicing my experience on ALL my social media outlets because this was NOT an effortless experience and this is just plain ridiculous! read more

Dont come if you did not call in an order for 40 tacos. 2 managers and 4 employees working on call ins. 6 of us single eaters standing here watching the cluster f. After 12 min I asked for mine, although others were there longer. After 10 more min the manager grabbed the bag she had thrown up there already and said.. your order is sitting here. I usually come here for lunch but today was not too well....our order was for dine-in and they gave it to us in to-go containers that were covered in guacamole. The beer that we grabbed from the cooler was warm..the manager did give us another beer without issue so that helps still like the place....I know that lunch time is pretty busy this location but this trip was a bit of a disappointment. read more

The restaurant was clean. But, considering I was literally one of two customers there and it was slow the food should have been much better. It was BAD just BAD! The tortillas were dry and crusty stale. Literally like crackers. The only flavor was the salt from the desalted beans. And the sophapillas even tasted like dry, stale air with sugar dusted on top. I came through the drive through this morning like I do every few days. I ordered two orange juices, two bean and cheese tacos, and an order of street tacos. Melissa was the drive through girl. Every time I come and she's there I get ridiculous attitude. She has me repeat myself 4-5 times. When I finally got my order I was missing an orange juice, when I asked for my second orange juice she tried to have me pay for it again! I waited 15 minutes. It was not busy. I work in the food industry as well so I understand when things are busy but this is completely unacceptable. I didn't deserve the attitude. If she doesn't know the orders she's ringing in, then why is she working in drive through? I went to this Taco Cabana at 10:05pm for my lunch break. What a nightmare of an experience! There was NOBODY working the counter when I walked in and I thought that only drive thru was open. I asked a lady who was working at a food station if I needed to go through drive thru to get service? She was a real smarty and said "yes, you can do that". Then a guy who I think worked there but was off, intervened and told me to wait while he got a lady from drive thru to assist. The lady came with attitude. I really should have left but I was hungry! She gave me a number without Instuctions and went back to drive thru. I waited in the dining area fo 30 minutes and it would have been longer if I hadn't gone to the counter to ask for my money back. All I ordered was 3 chicken flautas, and 5 small flautas of which I had to ask Mya for honey to go with them! Now what if I was a undercover manager? Taco Cabana used to be one of my all time favorite taco joints for quick cheap food. This location is newer so you would think it's better kept. This visit reflected a pattern. Unkept dirty lobby, full garbage cans, tables that haven't been wiped down with food left overs from previous customers. Salsa bar was dirty. It's appearance completely unsanitary. Also the freshness of products is bad. Onions that are translucent from age, cilantro limp and black from age. Customer service minimal at best. Food quality is now reflected in this locations new normal. Poor management is clear here. read more

I stopped going to this place soon after it first opened - quality was less than desirable. I decided to give it a try several months ago - they clearly had gotten their act together. Now, I am not sure if TC is doing this to all stores, but they recently remodeled (went more "upscale") with new furnishings, bring to the table service, complimentary chips and a slightly revised menu. For the money, you can't go wrong, and I like the direction that they are headed. Also I just noticed a sign for free wi-fi. read more

AWFUL! AWFUL! AWFUL!I would have rated zero stars if the option was available. It was my turn to buy breakfast for my department (~25 people). I ordered breakfast tacos online for a pick-up. It was placed 1.5 hours in advance. I paid up front and they accepted the order. When I arrived, there were several angry customers waiting to pick up their orders. They said they were behind, but wouldn't give you an estimate. Some folks waited an hour. I guess, I was one of the "lucky" ones, I only had to wait 45 minutes past the due date. 11/26/16 - 12:02:30 PM order number: 106. we have had a terrible experience and will not be back. we are still waiting for our food, and i am writing this review from within the restaurant on my cell phone (please excuse the grammar). 1. cashier was slow, numerous people are waiting right now and there is no one at the register and they are being ignored by the staff. 2. all the tables are dirty, i had to clean ours with napkins and water from the sofa machine. numbers from previous diners are littering the tables. 3. the ice dispenser has mold growing on the inside. generally the soda machine looks uncleaned. 4. the condiment station is unstocked. my husband requested the roja salsa and was ignored by staff. 5. the cook picked the grill brush off of the ground and used it to clean the grill. then stored it on the top of the oven. 6. there are many people waiting at tables without food, the service is very slow. my husband has just rejoined the line to see if we can cancel our order.... but the line is long and not moving. we won't be back. read more

My family and I wanted to eat at Taco Cabana last night so we searched our Yelp and found a location 3.8 miles from where we were. Even though their rating was low we were willing to try it. We drove up to the location a few minutes before 10p thinking they were about to close. The drive through light was still on so went, pulled in to the lane, stopped in front of the menu and proceeded to order. We ask if the inside was open and the lady said yes so we pulled out of the drive through lane, parked the car and went inside the restaurant. The cashier greeted us immediately but the store was empty. As we approached the counter we noticed that the store was filthy. The tortilla machine had spit tortillas all over the floor. The trash was piled up inside the can. The floor was dirty, the tables were a mess. Oh my goodness we couldnt believe it. We immediatly canceled our food, told the cashier why and exited the store. It literally made us sick in the stomach. We were grateful that we had gone inside to see what we would have never seen sitting in our car in drive thru. To the store manager: Please clean up and manage your store. I gave them one star only because Yelp wouldn't allow me to remove it. read more

Trash cans open everywhere and overflowing. When they finally came to clean them out and close them, they left the huge trash can with the bag of trash next to my table and went back to the register.
