Taco Casa is always a good idea. I was out apartment hunting, starving actually and thankfully I spotted a location from across the highway. I'm a fan of the Taco Lites so that's what I went with on this visit. The drive thru line was ridiculously long so I opted to go inside. No wait and the cashier was polite. There was a a reason I stopped coming here. I could not remember now I remember!! This is the skimpiest and slowest taco casa. I ordered a SUPER burrito easy beans No lettuce! Well I guess easy beans meant easy cheese, easy meat, easy sour cream ..hell easy burrito. Because there was nothing super about what I received!! The filling added to this "burrito" was just enough to fit in a taco shell!! I easily had more tortilla than filling. Went today for a quick bite. I never go here anymore and I won't do it again. Stale taco shells that are smaller than I remember. I had two super tacos and a few bites of a disappointing burrito. $25.00 for a combo burrito, light on ingredients, 3 super tacos and one soft taco and a tea. The shells were stale so I scrapped the ingredients out and out them in shells I had at home. 13.00 for the 3 subpar super tacos. This sad meal gave me a migraine and an expensive reminder to stop eating at chain restaurants that just don't have the same quality as they used too. Won't be going back. read more

This is our neighborhood Taco Casa and it's our favorite Taco Casa location. We either dine inside or go through the drive-thru at least once a week sometimes more frequently. We've never had a screwed-up order. We've always received excellent customer service and we've never visited the restaurant when the inside and restrooms were not spotless. There crispy tacos are always packed full of meat, veggies and cheese. In fact my only complaint is that sometimes there's too much cheese. Also I love the Chilada's and Taco Burgers, as well as the many burritos that are on the menu. We also love visiting Taco Casa since we get free drinks since we're seniors. All you have to do is ask even if you're using the drive-thru. It saves us almost $5.00 on every visit. read more

Cheese me please!!!!!!!! Taco Casa tacos are unique. They definitely are plentiful on the cheese. I also like the crispiness and thin crunch of the tortilla. The tortilla + meat + cheese ratio is exceptional. OK.....let me run that back. The tortilla + meat + cheese ratio is exceptional. What I mean is, I am picky and they seem to get it just right and at this location - I find it to be fresh. Taco Casa sauce is everything. Do not eat your tacos without at least 2 packs per taco. Taco Tuesday is .99 cents / taco (usually about $1.59) They have a limited menu with NO chicken anywhere, the menu is small but mighty (what they do have - they have perfected). What I don't understand is the name of the taco lite....It's bigger than the regular taco and has sour cream....is this really a "lite" taco? I usually order a taco and a chili burger (these are really good too but you will get all those bread calories) AND a sweet tea (can't forget the sweetest, most southern tea ever - tea is epic). This location is extremely slow - COVID probably affects this. Expect a longer wait than usual. Also, the inside area is not open at this time, so pick up only. The main thing I don't like about Taco Casa is they don't use gloves!!!!!! eeeeeeeekkkkk!!!! I request them every time and every time they get an attitude. Taco Casa is my guilty pleasure and I still go but no telling what they do to my food once I request gloves be worn, but you gotta think they grab the cheese (I need gloved hands grabbing my cheese. Do not buy gift cards! Thursday I was craving some TC. I stopped at the TC (4000 S. Collins near ST. Hwy 20) around 2:00pm. Only 2 cars ahead oh me in drive thru, but took 30 minutes to get to the window. My order totaled $16.39. I handed the girl at the window a $20 TC Gift Card. She looked at it, smiled, handed the card back to me. She said, " We only accept BLACK gift cards." Then she smiled again and said your order is $ 16.39. I wasn't going to give then one cent since I had a perfectly valid gift card. I DROVE OFF! Maybe the manager could of put some kind of notice ob the drive thru marquee stating they only take BLACK gift cards. Then they wouldn't have wasted my time and wasted the food they prepared. I'm sure the owners really appreciated losing $16.39 of products. It's was later I found out later from another location that the store could of accepted the gift card. Funds could easily be exchanged via cell phone typing in the card numbers. If I were the owner of that store, I would fire the manager for being too lazy to accept gift cards. Then on today I check my bank account and then I got charged for food I never receive Visited on 2/11/2019 @ 8:36pm. Why do I keep giving this location a chance. I get my food and it's in the boat as normal but get home and my taco is broke in half and my burrito has no sauce on the inside but on the outside inside my wrapper. Short and sweet. If you went to elementary school in the 90s and are nostalgic for those school lunch tacos then this is the place for you. This locations employees are terrible, rude people. They are always treating their customers like an inconvenience. I just went there asked for no lettuce on my taco and they gave me lettuce, it was even on the receipt. I was just at the drive thru of one of my favorite fast food places. I ordered and paid for extra jalapeños but wasn't given them. This tends to happen regularly, so I always check before I leave. I pointed out the rude cashier that she charged me for Extra jalapeños, but I only received one cup. She said 'you wanted 2?' I said well, I asked for and paid for 2, I should definitely get what I paid for. She seem extremely confused and just looked at my I asked for her kidney. I asked for the manager, since the cashier clearly has no bearing on her job. The manager asked me the same questions. I had to ask her for the jalapeños that I paid for. I told her the cashier was rude and she dismissed me with a curt' "have a good night, sir' and shut the drive thru window. This has the be the slowest location with the worst service. I think only teens run the place and no real manager. This last visit, and main reason for the review, I order 3 burritos, super nachos, and two sodas. I got 3 burritos, the makings for the nachos and 1 straw for the soda. I get home and go back bcuz hullo nachos are missing. I call, no answer. I knock on the door, an employee slips in the employee entrance while staring at me. (Doors are locked due to Covid). I love Taco Casa, but this one is exceptionally poor! The employees are super lazy. The fact that they're not willing to stay open for 30 min after 10 is so ridiculous. Every other Taco Casa that I've been to in the metroplex is open til at least 10:30. My advice to you would be if you can go to another one, do so and STAY AWAY from this one. A lot of people get off at or around 10 and would prefer to go to Taco Casa for the better prices and great sweet tea, however if they keep up with this closing so early the only other option for Tex-Mex would be Taco Cabana.
