Food is great if the workers there know what you're asking for. Went there Wed. Nov.12th at 2:30 for drive thru. I was ordering and asked for 4 tacos and the woman said soft and I said no 4 tacos. I guess she didn't even understand or know what was on the menu board.....there are TACOS AND OR SOFT TACOS!!!!! I said TACO'S ....And again, in a more little snippy way she said I NEED TO KNOW A SOFT TACO??????.... I was in the area and decided to have dinner at this Taco Casa. This restaurant seems to be quite busy on a Tuesday night--it could be Taco Tuesday. The dining area appears to be clean and well maintained. There is a queue to the counter but it moved fast on the evening I was there. I ordered a Super Nachos, two tacos, and a burrito. There was a promotion that evening that includes a drink with a the purchase of the Super Nachos. They serve Coca Cola products at Taco Casa. Overall, the cashier was friendly and chatty. There is a sign that says "No Refills" which is a departure from the normal practice of a fast-food restaurant to have free refills on soft drinks. Not offering free refills just makes the management appear to be real penny-pinchers. My food came out shortly after ordering. It was a lot of food for a little bit of money! The tacos were crispy and had a good amount of filling, as was the burrito. The super nachos were overflowing, but it is apparent that the chips used appeared to be broken little pieces from the bag, and I had to use a fork to consume it. The restroom--at least the men's room--was a utilitarian cinder-block bathroom, but was overall clean. Overall, this Taco Casa was a clean and efficient facility with good workers and good food at a reasonable price. read more

Really enjoy their burritos, tacos and nachos. Honestly it is hit and miss here, sometimes it's awesome and fresh and other times you end up with a wicked stomach ache. Literally the fact that the window has too have a sign saying "check your bag humans working" tells you immediately what you need too know. I get it we all make mistakes. If it happens once it's a mistake. If it's an on going issue ITS NOT. We ordered 6 soft tacos with only meat, cheese, lettuce. Then with a super arrogant voice " WELL THATS ALL IT COMES WITH!" Like really ok thank for letting me know. HOWEVER IM REITERATING THE FACT THAT ITS ALL I WANT. SO THERE IS NO WAY TOO MAKE A MISTAKE. Five stars for Hayden, this guy is awesome! My wife and I came through the drive through one time and I had bean and cheese burrito and I've been eating these for years and I have a high allergy for onions and we always let them know in advance in case my food is cooked with cross contaminated onions or anything and that time I found an onion just in time before i ate it, we brought it back inside and the manager (little hispanic woman) said there's no onions so i asked for gloves and pulled out multiple onions just on ONE BURRITO and she changed the story to "the sauce has onions" or the "beans have onions" but taco casa has never served onions in the burritos i get (hints why i get them) and Hayden stepped in saying it is indeed an onion and refunded us our money and gave us a remake. Let me just say that this young man is outstanding at his job and definitely goes above and beyond for customer service. SLOW SERVICE. I waited 10 minutes (as I do every time) to just move up ONE space in the drive thru. This time I turned around and left. I know there are large orders from time to time, but there is no way that it happens every visit. The size of the burritos are different every time, and never wrapped without it falling out. read more

I consider myself a forgiving and patient person but there has not been one time that I've gone to taco casa in Azle that they have got my order right. But still.. i think to myself, people make mistakes and i give them another chance after a few months. Tonight i ate inside with my family. I ordered 2 super tostadas with no sour cream or mild sauce for myself. I ate the first one and it was good! Made right, i got to my second one and they forgot to put on the meat. They were very busy and by the time i got to the counter to tell them it was wrong my family had finished their meals and were ready to go home, i asked for my money back on my 1 super tostada that they made wrong and was told they absolutely could not do that, that just because my food was wrong doesn't mean I'm entitled to a refund (what the heck) she told me she could remake it and that was that, i didn't want to start a scene or hold up the people behind me trying to order their food and asked for it to go. Have come here as a customer several times as a Azle resident. My son came to try to get employment. Manager Kathy is unbelievably rude. Due to COVID-19 the lobby is shut down. I understand everyone is still trying to manage the situation. However, there are civil ways of treating people. I pulled up to the front so he could go get an application and she yelled at him questioning what he was doing while getting out of her personal vehicle without identifying who she was at all. Another employee handed him the app and a clipboard. He came to the car and filled it out. She came outside and literally screamed at me yelling "Move! Your in my way!" while waving her hands for me to move. At this point I rolled down my window and let her know she could ask me to move my car politely. Btw...no one was waiting to move there. She then started waving cars there to take their orders. I have no problem complying but just because we weren't paying customers that day doesn't give her a right to be downright ugly and obscene. She then proceeds to talk about us to whomever she was helping, even pointing to us as if we were doing something wrong by trying to gain employment. I had moved to the middle of the larking lot, out of the way, my son completed his application and went back to turn it in. He stepped in the doorway and she literally screamed at him "GET OUT, YOU CAN'T GO IN THERE". I had enough at that point. How else is he supposed to hand back the app and who the hell does this lady think she is talking to anyone this way. I got out and told her I don't like the way you are talking to my son or me. I asked her for her name twice and she wouldn't say but made sure to tell me she is the GM. I told her if that is the case it's no wonder she is short staffed. Here we are trying to work and this is how you treat people. She scoffed and I again asked for her name and she literally yelled "KATHY OK!". I called and apparently the owners is Pam Howell. If you read this, the general managers customer service is deplorable! If it's any indication of how she treats your employees, and I am inclined to believe it is, you surely have a high turnover. I've been a business manager for 15 yrs and would never employ anyone who speaks to the public that way. This casa needs a bit of work. The cooks don't know to warm the tortillas before wrapping the deliciousness that is casa bean burritos. My burrito was hard and crusty on the outside and nice on the inside. The soft tacos did not miss this problem either. Crusty that is all. I have been eating at the Saginaw store for almost 20 years and they miss the point from time to time but not this bad. Take a lesson from Saginaw store and step it up player. read more

This place is awesome, the staff is friendly, and give it all they got. When in a rush they do their best to catch up which is sometimes hard because of the big orders, but you can see they are always giving their 100%. Food is good quality cooked in front of us at times, not like other places that it is already pre-cooked. Overall a good place to eat and hang out. read more
