One word. JOCELYN! Omg best drinks in a long time! Oh, and super beef nachos out of this world! However, we had the best waitress in Fort Worth, Texas, Jocelyn, it would not have been near as Grand! I am totally relaxed after my top shelf margarita and all thanks to Big J not in size in manners and expertise at the Lake Worth, Mexican Inn Café! She is Top Shelf ! Date night just got better! Thank you Mexican Inn for a fun night out now we will get ready to skinny dip! Sixty five and holding!

This was unfortunately the Dinner portion of fajitas. Not even full chicken breast! $22 dollars for this!

Food good but not worth the price for a fajita dinner combo. Not even a full chicken breast. Onions tasted like they were boiled in butter. Very disappointing. Oh and this was $22 ....

The food is normally really good but not tonight. Really very disappointed. Ordered to go, paid and sat in the bar waiting for the food. I noticed small stuff, but could tell someone isn't paying attention to small, but important details that DID NOT have anything to do with the food. However, dinner tonight was not good at all. They weren't even busy, but my order came out very quickly. This location doesn't offer fajitas for two, not a big deal, but still. Also we ordered the enchilada dinner. It came with the usual chips, salsa, corn tortillas and butter. The corn and flour tortillas were dry and either old or just overcooked. It just wasn't good at all. So disappointed.

The truly great TexMex dinner. I like their homemade chips and corn tortillas. I really enjoy the fire roasted salsa for a spicy kick. The enchiladas and tamales are great with chili con carne. The fajita nachos are great and the guacamole is yummy. I order the Tiffan Hall dinner. Let's you try some of everything. The staff is friendly and provide great service.

There's plenty of seating as well as bar seating. I've been there on a weekend night when a Mariachi band was playing. That made the experience even more enjoyable. When my family and I go we always eat a couple baskets of their homemade chips and salsa and their queso with meat. They have a mild red salsa and a green spicy salsa. Both were fresh and very delicious. I had the Quesadilla dinner, Mexican rice and Charro beans are included. I must say, I have NEVER had better Charro Beans. My family had the Enchilada Dinner, the Carnitas Dinner, and Cowboy Salad. I can't finish this review without mentioning their Frozen Peach Margarita with sugar, no salt...THE. BEST. I. EVER. HAD.

We always start with a cup of queso, which never disappoints. Some of my favorites have been the carne guisada, beef chimichangas, and camarones al mesquite. My husband usually orders the tacos al carbon, enchilada dinner, or the beef quesadilla dinner, and he's enjoyed all of them. Their margaritas are also really good and pair well with the food. The restaurant has plenty of seating, though it can still get pretty busy during peak times. Even when it's full, it's still comfortable enough to have a good conversation without feeling too crowded or loud. Overall, it's a reliable neighborhood spot with good food, good drinks, and consistently solid service.

I noted their beautiful Mexican pots with fabulous plants around the establishment. We were seated and waited on quickly....ordered margaritas, which was a little bit difficult, because I don't understand Spanish and it seemed our waitress knew little English or we just could not understand her. This was frustrating, can you imagine how long it took us to order the meal. Once done when the chicken & steak fajitas came out fresh and sizzling. Chicken was tender and seasoned perfectly where the steak was tough & bland. The wrong beans were brought, but OH Well, no big deal They have a variety of dishes to select from. (See Photos of Menu) The establishment was handicapped friendly. Was clean on the inside and out. As we ate and drank our drinks, the waitress seated, a lady and her 2 children, one being a very young behind us. Immediately the baby started crying and no break, never quit. That was it for me !! Got a to go box and we were out of there. Lenise, my good friend said her sister loved the place, so now we can say .. we tried it. Hope you have better luck, have a good day.

The outdoor seating is so charming lush plants, colorful flowers, and a peaceful fountain that makes you want to stay awhile. I had the chicken fajita bowl, and it was fresh, flavorful, and hit the spot. The margaritas were definitely tempting but I behaved and stuck with water... next time for sure. Only minor thing, there was water on the floor going into and inside the bathroom, which could be a slipping hazard. A "wet floor" sign would definitely help. Beautiful atmosphere, relaxed vibe. Such a great little getaway in the middle of the day.

But we always hear people talk about how great Joe T's is so we thought maybe we just an isolated bad experience 15 years ago. But this time, it was even worse. Maybe people don't speak unfavorably out of fear of being shamed for not praising this "institution"? We arrived on a Wednesday at 5:30 so fortunately our unpleasant experience was not further worsened with a wait. The patio is still very beautiful and umbrellas were positioned to provide ample shade. But the fly situation was very annoying and could probably be helped with the spinning devices on tables or fans spread throughout the patios. The beauty of the patio doesn't compensate enough to endure the flies. The service started out good with waters, chips/salsa brought instantly. But within 15 minutes the service rapidly declined as more customers were seated. It was very tedious to the point of annoying to get refills on our drinks. Literally within 2-3 minutes of ordering we asked our waitress to switch one of the fajita orders from chicken to beef. She initially said "oh I'm sorry but I JUST put the order in". We looked puzzled and said "ok then it shouldn't be a problem changing it?" She went on to explain that she would add the beef to our table and just switch the chicken order to another table next to us who ordered chicken that she had not put in yet. All of that sounded very bizarre but the food was correct when it was delivered our table. At the time the plates were brought we requested a side of sour cream but it didn't come. After 5-10 minutes we spotted our server and requested it from her. But we still never got the sour cream. As I was paying the tab my daughter noticed that we were charged for an extra chicken fajita. So even though the server got the beef fajita added right after we ordered, she didn't take the chicken off the bill. She adjusted it once we pointed out the error. The food was the biggest disappointment out of all of it. I will always give grace to sub par service or atmosphere if the food is great. I say this with the utmost sincerity, I've had more flavorful beef and chicken at Chipotle. The chicken was so dry and served in big chunks which made it even tougher to chew. I seriously could not detect a hint of any seasoning, not even salt. It was very hot but not like the traditional sizzling fajita hot, more like it had been sitting in a heating pan or under heat lamps. For way too long. The beef was a tad bit easier to chew than the chicken but just as bland. The queso that we ordered tasted like canned cheese sauce watered down with chicken or vegetable broth and a tablespoon of pico added. The portion sizes of the entrees, the tortillas, the pico, the guacamole were all very generous. It's just a shame that it doesn't taste good.
