The food is normally really good but not tonight. Really very disappointed. Ordered to go, paid and sat in the bar waiting for the food. I noticed small stuff, but could tell someone isn't paying attention to small, but important details that DID NOT have anything to do with the food. However, dinner tonight was not good at all. They weren't even busy, but my order came out very quickly. This location doesn't offer fajitas for two, not a big deal, but still. Also we ordered the enchilada dinner. It came with the usual chips, salsa, corn tortillas and butter. The corn and flour tortillas were dry and either old or just overcooked. It just wasn't good at all. So disappointed. read more

Visiting on a Friday night was quite hectic -- we couldn't call in to reserve a table; we had to be in person to reserve a spot, and when we arrived, the wait time was about 25 minutes. The staff was kind and punctual, though, so that was very nice. We ordered Brisket Burrito and Mexican Cafe Dinner. The Brisket Burrito was the best dish we have had here. It's large in size, and you will have plenty of food leftover for your next meal. Mexican Inn did not hold back on the brisket. Not only was everything flavorful and delicious, but there was also plenty of brisket left for the next day. If you absolutely love enchiladas, the Mexican Cafe Dinner is the right way to go. The entire plate is filled with different types of enchiladas. I'm not a big fan of it, so I didn't particularly like it. The customer service was great, but nothing in particular stood out. Our waiter refilled our drinks on time and made sure everything was fine. Overall, I would visit Mexican Inn again, but this time, I will order the Brisket Burrito. I didn't order any burrito because I had assumed it would be a small one, but it's actually pretty large. read more

The truly great TexMex dinner. I like their homemade chips and corn tortillas. I really enjoy the fire roasted salsa for a spicy kick. The enchiladas and tamales are great with chili con carne. In short, won't be eating here again. Wd got halfway through our bowl of chips, and realized the bottom of the bowl was full of salsa- they apparently used a dirty bowl and filled it with warm chips and gave it to us. We showed the manager, who simply said the guy working that area was having an off day. My food was cold. The waiters were unfriendly, even before we reported the bowl issue or anything else. Had a curbside pickup called 5 times to let them know I'm here and I had no answer and but as I looked in the building from the curbside pick up area there was 3 hostess up front on a slow Tuesday no one walking in or out so why wouldn't they answer? This was my first time eating at a Mexican Inn Cafe and it was a pretty good experience. I ordered the brisket enchiladas and the brisket inside was amazing.
