Simply the worst Mexican "food" I've ever eaten. I would hit up Taco Bell before I ever went back to this place. Nasty.

This is a great Taco Del Mar. Always clean and fast service. Small building but has good parking.

We finally decided to try this place after a hard day of exercise and it was so worth it!…read moreDefinitely not something I can eat everyday but definitely a reward for a stressful day or a hard exercise day :) The location is a little weird because it's literally in the middle of nowhere, there's no sign or anything so you definitely need to be searching. We got the flamin' cali crunch with Chicken. I love that outside had a nice crunch from the tortilla and then inside, you get a different crunch from hot cheetos. The meat was good, it's a little dry but still flavorful. This alone can feed 2 people The carne asada curly fries with added Onion rings. This was so heavy and in generous amount. Can easily feed 3-4 people. I love that the fries stayed crispy the entire time and it didn't get greasy at all. Also, it didn't taste or feel greasy. The onion ring was surprisingly good. I love the flavor. The carne asada was in huge chunks and still tender and cooked well. Why the 4 stars and not 5: location is a little sketchy, the ordering system isn't that great and both dishes was a little dry and you definitely need to drink water

Our order was waiting for us and the front staffer was nice and friendly. The restaurant is spacious with a homey, kitschy vibe and the front wall of windows were wide open. On a hot summer day, this would be a nice, airy place to eat in. We might eat there next time. 10 minutes later we were home and looking forward to digging into our chicken! We split a Large Bag o' Bites which were crispy, savory, and delicious breaded chicken breast pieces. We also got the three piece combo: two drumsticks and a thigh. We got everything non-spicy and found it all to be delicious, moist, and crispy. I am especially grateful that Cookie's makes their fried chicken WITHOUT DAIRY since I have a hard time digesting milk protein. Thank you, Cookie's for a filling and delicious dinner of fried chicken. We will be back!

Cookie's was a let down, I'll start out with that. I had all the hope in the world that this place…read morewas going to wow me, but alas, it was not to be. I'll start with some positives: you can order directly on their website (as opposed to being forced to use some fee-heavy service like DoorDash), they're quick, and the Barn Burner sandwich was good. Now for the cons. Either they messed my order up or I was the fool here and screwed up when ordering online, but the four piece tendies I got were plain and utterly spice-less. Being a pepper head and spice fiend, this was a bummer, but it forced me to see that the chicken wasn't seasoned very well. Outright bland one might say. The chicken also had a kind of toughness to it. Not from being really dry or anything, but more from the raw cuts of meat not being trimmed correctly, like I was eating bits of tendon or something. Hey when I order tendies I thought that was cutesy-short for tenders not tendons! They weren't bad, but they were not very good either. The Barn Burner sandwich was decent though, and at a level three of spice, it had a nice heat. I'll give them another chance down the road, but ultimately, in a city that has so many great fried chicken options (Triangle Spirits, S/T Hooligans, and Sisters and Brothers), it's going to be hard to make the decision to choose them again after the meal I had.

A 10 top joint, this place is small, however there is a patio outside that also shares with another restaurant so that during the summer addition seating is available. We walked up to the counter and were pleasantly greeted by a young lady who took our order. My father ordered a bacon cheeseburger and I ordered the pastrami burger which was a cheeseburger with pastrami also on it. We also ordered onion rings and the Greek fries to share. We both had chocolate shakes. The food came out quickly, probably 10 mins or so. The shakes are hand done and mixed to order. DELICIOUS! Both of our burgers were juicy and delicious. All burgers have lettuce, onion, pickle and tomato. Several versions of burgers, sandwiches and salads available. The rings were to me perfect, well cooked and great breading. The Greek fries were also delicious, however, HEAVY GARLIC. Just be aware that your Vampire boyfriend will be repelled for hours!! I look forward to trying some of their other options the next time.

I'm SO glad Other Coast proved me wrong. And I was blown away by what we got. For starters, I asked for a reco. The person behind the counter said the Michael King was super popular among veggies and vegans alike. I'm aways more likely to choose something I wouldn't make at home, and the dry rubbed tofu, roasted yams, and vegan cardamom-lime sauce fit right into that category. We paid, nabbed a table out front, and our names were soon called. Holy heck, those first few bites were just spectacular. What an interesting flavor combo! My only regret is that pickled onions weren't an option -- they would've added a great umami. My total came to just over $16 with tax and tip. We'll be back!

Both sandwiches were delicious and very filling. The spot itself is really small and not flashy at all. There are only a few bar seating chairs inside, and then 4 or 5 tables in their outdoor, on street seating area. We came at an odd time, around 3:30pm, so there was no line and a few open tables, but I am assuming this place gets real busy around peak lunch so would take that into consideration if you are looking to go sit and eat somewhere versus takeout. The staff was friendly and it did not take too long for our sandwiches to come out. The sandwiches were super fresh and the flavors were really good. I appreciated that the baguette was not too crispy (like cut the top of your mouth crispy) while still be well toasted. The Rajun Cajun is delicious, so it deserves all the hype it gets on the menu and on here!
