Deluxe with cheese served at Interbay.
    Paul R.

Interbay visit meant I could try the Red Mill location, having only ever been to Phinney and never knew there was more than one until this Spring. The place seems a little bigger but probably isn't. The staff seem similar - not bored teens - and the vibe and decor are similar. The Deluxe with Cheese took around 8 minutes and was just as delicious as any prior Red Mill burger. Happy to know there is a second location. Wish a cheeseburger here didn't cost $10, but I can appreciate the premium over what I'd pay at Dick's.

What's not to love about the best burger spot in town or for that matter far and wide! Did a solo run for the classic bacon and cheeseburger with all the fixings and of course the fried to perfection Babe's onion rings. Love batter which has a little spice kick to them. The burgers are cooked to charred perfection and the pepper bacon is awesome. You place your order at the counter and then wait for them to cook it all up. The counter person was great and she even snapped my pic for me! Love the old school ambiance of the places with classic signage and wooden style booth seating. A must go to for burger lovers and didn't get a milkshake which are also top notch!

Ordered takeout and tried the Classic Burger and the one with caramelized onions. Both burgers were overdone and dry. The bigger issue was the caramelized onions as they were burnt to a crisp. I was picking off flattened black bits from the burger, and even then there weren't many onions to begin with. Pretty disappointing overall. The one bright spot was the fries, which were nice and crispy.

I know I know, this is a BEEFburger joint, but my peeps.... My peeps! Please don't sleep on the Chicken Club cause it is SUPER solid! Juicy, great lemon hints, did I mention juicy?

This is Red Mill. They have wonderful burgers that area tasty, cooked on a flat top, with lots of juicy bits, veg, cheese, and their special house sauce (not McDonalds). Onion Rings? Deep Fried Mushrooms? Yes. Fries? Yes. Bacon tower? Yes. So look, it's amazing, and delicious, it's a Seattle.

I've had a few people tell me to try red mill and it definitely didn't disappoint! I will say there was a little bit of a wait but the food came out so fresh so it made total sense. We got the deluxe w cheese, red onion jam burger, and onion rings and my wife and I both agreed that the deluxe was a clear winner! Definitely everything I want when I think of a classic cheeseburger, and the onion rings were DANGEROUSLY good (I might even say the best I've had) highly recommend!!

It doesn't get more American than Red Mill! The burgers are giant and everything is delicious. Don't skip out on the bacon - when we arrived there was a mountain of bacon on the grill. Also get the sides. The fries were crispy and soft inside. The onion rings were giant and breaded with the texture of chicken tenders. There's also a lot of milk shake flavors. Red Mill is definitely a nice treat. Service was good with friendly staff. There was also an abundance of seats inside and outside. They have a. little parking lot in the back which fits around 5-7 cars.

Tasty spot! There's a small adjacent parking lot. You place your order at the counter and wait for it to be ready. There can be a line out the door and the inside can feel quite crammed. If there was any seating inside, I didn't notice it. There is seating outside on picnic tables. The beer/wine place next door also allows folks to bring in food from here, so that provides some additional seating. Great quality burgers that are a sizable portion. Large crispy onion rings. Well cooked fries. And free refills on soda. Would definitely dine here again.

Red Mill never misses!!! Comes out piping hot and just satisifies that burger craving. We love the Blue Cheese N' Bacon Burger and their fries are so crispy and well seasoned. No matter how busy it is they are always on top of their stuff!

Outstanding find in Seattle -Queen Anne area. After a 5 mile hike in Liberty Park, we deserved a good lunch. My juicy bacon cheeseburger was awesome! Generous portion of flavorful crispy pepper bacon and fresh pickles made the burger better. Such a great taste of char on the burger too. Young lady at the counter was efficient yet friendly. Prompt service made the whole visit complete.

Very easy to order and tasty! It took no time at all to review food and very cute retro vibe!

The restaurant itself leaves a lot to be desired, but I'm not asking too much. I believe the owner said he was trying to revamp the place. I hope that the area comes alive in the future years, that should help. Here's the issue though, this is the slowest spot ever. I've waited 30 minutes for fries - FRIES. I don't mind waiting for food, but it should remain reasonable. There were only two or three people working, and one man did tell us this, but I need to be honest - this was on Super Bowl Sunday. No one was able to get anyone a beer from the tap for 40 minutes, the food took forever and it appeared that online orders were being prioritized (which makes sense, you make as you get orders coming in, but that puts your in person customers in an odd and sometimes frustrating position). To be honest, I probably wouldn't have minded as much if I just had some fries to snack on. I didn't mind as much this one time because I was just happy to find a place to watch the Super Bowl Half Time show, but other days, it's a little hard to look past. I wish this business the best, I live too close to not hope for its improvement! Looking forward to updating my review. At the end of the day, if you're hungry, it's late, this is your spot.

The oysters were the main draw for me, and they were totally worth the visit. Old Stove serves them with a savory watermelon sauce in addition to a traditional cocktail sauce--eaten together, it's a flavor explosion that I can't quite describe. We also enjoyed the garlic everything fries, which were delicious! We just had to try a flight to sample the brews. There are some really good beers available here, especially the Belgian blonde, citra pale ale, and the stout. I did not really care for the seasonal sour (grapefruit, I think)--to me, it just tasted like a sour and nothing more, but someone with more interest in sour beers would probably enjoy it just fine. Despite the busy night, our server checked on us regularly and was very personable, stopping to chat with us about the local sports scene. There's plenty to look at, inside and out. If you can snag a seat outside, you'll get to enjoy the waterfront. Inside, the decor is industrial but fun. Not sure if this runs all the time, but when we were there, the tvs were playing vintage beer ads, which was quite fun. They also sell some pretty good t-shirt designs. Overall, Old Stove Brewing is the perfect combo of good location, good food, and good beer. Definitely recommend a visit when in the Pike Place area!

It's not my favorite Hawaiian by any stretch, but it definitely does the job for visitors to the food hall. Since the seating can be a little limited at lunch time, the first challenge is just simply finding a spot to sit. Avoiding the peak lunch hour is recommended, but this probably be better if traveling in a group. When in doubt, take it to-go. Teriyaki chicken ($14) is one of their most popular dishes and an obvious nod to Seattle's thriving scene. Their katsu loco moco ($16) is hearty with the gravy, but sometimes a bit too heavy with the green onions. Personally, I'm a fan of the kalua pork ($13.50) and the spam and eggs ($11.50), but the garlic shrimp ($18) was a bit lackluster. They also serve burgers, which are actually a bit underrated. Their double cheeseburger ($11) features nice size patties with a goop of American cheese. The musubi is nearly $4 each, but are also mini-bricks of spam and rice. Lastly, it doesn't take much to realize the prices might feel a bit high here. They're even higher on the website, which i would recommend using for most folks, but recently I noticed various selections are listed for hundreds of dollars each. Unless this is a catering order, it's just another example of another oversight. ____________ (#1) Uwajimaya is dope: https://www.yelp.com/biz/uwajimaya-seattle

They also have a happy hour menu which is posted up in the restaurant and goes from 2-5. I don't see that info on their website, so keep that in mind! The HH burger prices are a considerable deal. I had a lao burger and a small order of fries, which came out pretty quickly. The small fries ($5) are actually pretty generous, and probably could've been shared. Fries are super crispy and perfectly seasoned. The lao burger ($18) is hefty, with lots of variety of texture and flavor. Still satisfies that burger craving while being creative. It does slide around a lot, which is a bit of a pet peeve of mine with any burger or sandwich, and you really have to work hard to keep everything from sliding out the back. Prices are pretty average for the neighborhood, aka not crazy but definitely more than what you'd pay for similar in other parts of Seattle.
