Went here after the renaissance fair and was very pleased. There was a bit of a language barrier as my husband and I ordered no meat and they kept bringing us the meat versions. No worries though, they fixed it once we told them we were vegetarian. Everything tasted authentic and flavorful. They had lots of options off their menu. My boys enjoyed their chicken fajitas and their queso fundido was soooo yummy! The inside seemed clean and had bright colors. Their salsa was very good too. We've been wanting to try this place for months now and we are very glad we did. Food and drinks were delicious. Service was great. Drinks always full. Basket of chips refilled multiple times. So we became those people that walk into a restaurant thirty minutes before they close, Fortunate for us the staff was very friendly and professional. Mixed drinks on pretty much every table! Their creation of Mexican style drinks sets them apart from the others for sure! I order fajitas and I couldn't get a clear pic because of the steam of the plate! No stars! Those at my table waited for my food to get to the table and it took a while. No apology. I had the least complicated plate; enchilada and taco. When my food arrived, I could not eat it because it was made with flour tortillas and I have a gluten intolerance. The noise got worse as I waited for the error to be corrected. I had to step out and wait for my party to finish. It was an overwhelming experience and the waitress could not have cared less. I drive out from Phoenix to eat here. I won't be doing that again. Their food is mediocre and while disclosing to the waiter that my fiancé is allergic to shellfish, his food still had some particles of shrimp and he had a very severe allergic reaction. I've been to Taco Giro 3 or 4 times now and I'm convinced everything on the menu is tasty. The portions are pretty big and I've been a fan of taking half home for later. So far I have had the Green Chili Pork Burrito, Enchiladas Suizas, and Wet Burrito... all have been superb. The beans and rice are great too! Service was good, food was great but waiter's lack of giving us written tabs resulting in us getting total bill that seemed extremely high. Waiter said in broken English that it was because it was a new menu. What we didn't realize is that because we had a group of nine, that they automatically add a 20% gratuity to your tab. We just assumed that the had a major price increase, and not wanting to screw our waiter added an appropriate tip to the tab. $54 for 2 omelettes, and 2 coffee seemed a little pricey. New favorite restaurant alert!! My fiance and I decided to go in on a Monday for lunch because we had a coupon out of a newspaper and WOW!
