one of the best customer service restaurants i've been to in a while and Alexa was definitely a bonus !

My wife and I decided to try Sunday breakfast at 8:00am - one hour after they opened. There weren't a lot of customers when we arrived - we noted that there was only one waitress for the entire restaurant. We were finally seated and the restaurant started to fill up with customers. Only one waitress for the entire restaurant - no manager. I felt bad for the waitress and it appeared that she was doing the best that she could. After an extended wait, our order was taken and the food (arrived cold) finally showed up. Shortly after 9:00am, some additional staff arrived. We had to flag down someone to accept our payment - my wife went to the waitress station to find a to-go box. Note: 3.00% surcharge for using a credit card. We will find somewhere else to go next time - there are a lot of options in the Green Valley community. read more

We were impressed by this newly remodeled restaurant and the service. The food looks beautiful when served, but needs more seasoning. Had chicken/steak/shrimp fajitas the first time; not much flavor and the steak was tough. Had a ground beef taco salad the next time. A beautiful presentation but the burger had not been seasoned. Me and my partner just had dinner at Taco Giro in Green Valley, AZ. The food and service were great, but they sat us next to some unruly people who were loud and yelling and talking profanities in English and Spanish. They were intoxicated and kept ordering drinks. The server should have cut them off. Also, the manager seemed to have no balls to do something about the situation, he should have cut them off or asked them to leave. They were offending other customers. I am Mexican myself and it is embarrassing to see my race acting so vulgar in a public place. I think the manager should be reprimanded for allowing such profanity and loud vulgar annoyance to other customers who are paying for a first, good experience. 4 stars for food and service 0 stars for the manager read more

Our second and last meal @ TG.... Previous breakfast visit revealed nothing new and last evening's visit confirmed nothing new on the menu, terribly slow service. Food was not good. My friend's seafood dish was just chopped up pieces. We could not identify what each piece was. Also it was cold. The service was slow and we didn't get the tortillas until we were almost done eating. It is very loud in the restaurant too. I would not recommend it to anyone. read more

Normally their food is outstanding, the seafood and Mexican dishes especially. This visit I ordered the ribeye steak dinner medium rare. The meat came more cooked than "well done" and it was very tough with gristle. To their credit they offered to re-do it, which I declined for time. The manager was very accommodating when I spoke with him and will take care of it next visit. I will definitely go back, but I will stick to seafood and Mexican, and save steaks for a steakhouse. read more

We arrived at about 9:30 AM Sunday morning for breakfast. We waited 10 minutes to be seated. We were seated next to a table of 10 that was loud and between 2 other tables. There was not enough room to pull the chairs from the table to sit easily. We sat there for 10 minutes and were never approached by the waitress. FINALLY Green Valley gets a first-class restaurant, and if that's not enough it's at second-class prices. The decor is modern, casual and comfortable. Service- five start...food served (taco salad, chicken fajitas and chili relleno) all five stars (very large portions). Got off to a bad start as they lost our reservations, but found a table for us. Food was interesting and good and large portions. Service was slow but our waiter, Jose, was working hard and was friendly. Problem seemed to be getting the food out of the kitchen. Family of 4 arrived on a Sunday afternoon about 5pm. We waited for about 20 mins in the lobby area before being seated at a table. Once seated we had chips and salsa/bean dip brought over in about 10 mins and our drink orders were taken after about 15 mins. They were busy but not packed full busy. Once we ordered drinks we waited about 25 mins for my daughter's sprite to be brought out and we were told they only had one bartender and the servers were making their own drinks and trying to help out so our drinks were coming. Fast forward another 15 mins of us still not having our drinks, no food order anywhere in site but the tables surrounding us had drinks and starting to get served their appetizers. We walked out and left after being seated almost an hour with no drinks or appetizers which is unfortunate. Hopefully they can get some staff hired and trained to make it easier on their staff that seemed overworked and stretched thin. read more

I walked in at 9:15pm on a Wednesday and asked if I could be seated for 2, the hosts told me their kitchen was already cleaning up and would not be able to serve us. They should probably update their hours of operation. Super disappointing given the fact there was not any other options open until 10pm read more

Made a second visit, had breakfast; pretty bad. Food: "100% Denny's". God awful coffee, Hash Browns were burned to a crisp and the Omelet was a pool of grease with the most pathetic teeny, little eggs ever. Nope, I won't be going back for breakfast. It was expensive too. They have 2 kinds of toast, white or wheat, both of which are served ice cold and with a single pat of butter. If you want Jam you have to ask for it where you will then get ONE of those small little plastic things. Just awful. They do have tortilla's if you want that. Service: Sweetheart of a server, but we discovered that she was also the cook, the greeter, the everything. 1 person doing all jobs. Yes, because the poor gal was the only person working, it took a long time to get a table (my breakfast guest got so tired of waiting for a table that he went back into the kitchen to find someone and it still took 10 minutes, and we were the only people waiting at that time), then longer to place an order, then to get served the order. ONE person doing everything. Unbelievable. She did great considering she was alone, but no, it was a deal ending experience as regards ever having breakfast there again. Ambiance: Sat at a different table this time and the chair was so low that I nearly hit my chin on the table when I sat down. Small and low. Had a window table so the view out to the golf course was nice, but the neon sign in the room just blinds you (face away from it if you can - if you go in that is). So, lunch was 'okay' (not great), but breakfast, oh hell no. As I said, it's an expensive version of Denny's. read more

I wanted to love this place. Unfortunately, it's not very good. While the remodel has made the space much more appealing, the food doesn't measure up. We have given it 3 tries and everything that we have ordered has been very bland. Also, the margaritas are terrible. Taco Giro recently opened here in Green Valley. We tried going there several weeks ago for dinner but there was a very long wait time. We decided to try an early lunch today. We were able to get seated right away and our server waited on us within a few minutes. My wife ordered a # 2 plate and I ordered a Carne Asada plate. My wife's meal was just okay. Mine was not even edible (the beans and rice were just okay). My Carne Asada steak was cut really thin, overcooked and full of gristle - not edible. After taking several bites I gave up. We then did not see are server again until awhile after we had finished. And before she showed up the person busing the tables took our plates. She finally showed up and brought us our bill. I told her about the problem with my steak and she said she would let the cook staff know. And that was it - no offer to replace the steak or another item. Really bad service. This place is way over hyped. read more

Just heard about this new restaurant & went on a Fri night with a group of six. Had reservations. We were seated in a smaller room, that was nicely quieter than the main restaurant. Service was excellent, even on a busy night. Menu is impressive, including pictures of most dishes. Lot of fresh seafood choices. Margaritas were delicious. Food was especially delicious & tasty. Only got 2 stars because once we did get our food at breakfast it was good. However waiting over an hour to get it was not good. By the time we got our orders several groups that came in AFTER us had eaten and were leaving. It's one thing to have slow service, another not to keep the orders in the correct sequence. The food was good but you need to split all the plates. Need to have some lighter plates, particularly for breakfast. Price were also high for breakfast items. If you don't like Mexican based breakfast items, then your only choices are pancakes and french toast. Didn't see a plain egg, toast and meat item anywhere on the menu. Needless to say I won't be back as there are much better options for breakfast in Green Valley - Manuels, Madera Diner, etc. They all have good food, reasonable prices and good service. read more

Servers very nice, went tonight, very busy. We did get seated back room dining area full. They came took our drink orders quite quick. Ordered after and thought food came out quick considering how bust. Food was great, had chili dinners, huge, took half home. With 2 orher couples, said their food was great too.
