I have had ok food here before. Nothing spectacular but nothing truly bad.... Until yesterday. I ordered a taco chicken salad. Chicken was not seasoned, stringy and inedible. I hate sending things back and tried to see if I could eat around the chicken. There was just too much inedible chicken in there. They were great about taking it back and took it off the bill. My husband enjoyed his tacos (not chicken ). I wouldn't order chicken from there. The best Mexican food in Sahuarita/Green valley are the food trucks Fraustos & El Checo IMO. read more

Food is always excellent here. They're really not quite ready for large groups, though. There were 19 in our group and we had to wait 30 minutes after we had all finished eating for our checks, and then another 15 for them to run our credit cards. They have an option on the church to pay online, but when I visited it, the entire group's bill was on there and I didn't want to pay nearly $500 to avoid waiting for my individual bill. I have been there twice before for lunch and dinner with a small group and didn't have this issue. Highly recommend for groups of 4 or less. read more

We got there late, after 9:00 PM. It has lovely decor, typical to Arizona's history, but also features an upscale sports bar with game room and separate dining. I found the service to be excellent, and the staff freindly. I was most impressed by their reasonable menu prices, and you can always order to go. They have a happy hour from 3:00-6:00 and specials daily. I will definitely be coming back when I pick up my family in October. read more

We stopped by today on our way back from Nogales. Excited to eat at this location after our location in Marana closed. Sadly we did not eat, we were seated outside at our request. We waited 10 minutes and no one came to take our order. I went back inside to the counter where the young man that sat us was standing and I asked him if anyone was going to come take our order or if we should just leave? He said "it's up to you, but I can get someone". I clarified his response asking if we would get service or should we leave. He said I told you I could get someone. I said it's okay, we will leave. Another gentleman passed me and I asked if there was a manger. Explained to him our situation and he said he would get her. I went back to our table, explained to my husband what had just happened and said we were leaving. A very nice lady came out who said she was the server in section 1 but she could help us. I told her how much I appreciated her efforts but we would be leaving. The manger never came out. We loved our location in Marana but today's experience will leave a long, negative and lasting impression on us! read more

The restaurant is an interesting vibe but service and food are severely lacking. I was there with one other person and it took over two hours for us to get in and out. No alcoholic drinks, no apps, and no dessert. I started by asking if we could put our name on the wait list when we arrived. The young man at the host stand said "no" and then just walked away into the kitchen. I didn't really know what to make of that so we just sat and waited. We got seated about 15 minutes later. We then waited more than 20 minutes for service. It was unfortunate that it took so long but it was in those moments we decided not to drink. The menu was lengthy but primarily because they have so many pictures on the menu. We finally got our order in and about 20 minutes later the server asked me if I would be find with a ground beef burrito instead of chicken. I pieced together quickly that the gentleman across the aisle from me got my food- as he was sending it back since it was chicken instead of the beef he ordered. We waited about 10-15 minutes and finally got our food. A chicken burrito with rice and beans and mini chimichangas. Nothing crazy. The meat inside both items was just plain shredded meat, no seasonings. After we finished eating it took another 30 minutes to get the check. Our drinks were never refilled (despite being empty before we even got our food and asking for refills). Just all around a tough night. Will likely not return. read more

So disappointed in what looked like a good authentic Mexican restaurant. Wanted to try their Burrito Mexicano Mojado, a wet burrito with both red and green sauce. It came and I noticed my burrito appeared fried, according to the menu you could for an extra $1.99 have it fried, I did not order a chimichanga. I tried to use my fork to take a bite and the burrito was soggy and tough, it just tore and it was barely warm. The green sauce was acidic and lacked any flavor and the red had no flavor at all. It was full of small diced pieces of unflavored steak, a side of runny beans and Mexican rice which were the shining star of the plate. My friend ordered shrimp fajitas. A large bountiful platter arrived but to her surprise it was nothing but onions and peppers, maybe 6 shrimp for $25.99. She said this tastes like soy sauce and asked my opinion, I said wow that's weirdly sweet. When the waitress stopped to ask how everything was, my friend said, do I taste soy sauce and with a giant prideful smile said, it's teriyaki sauce. Teriyaki sauce on fajitas??? it was gross. They did take off 25% for her not liking her Benihana fajitas but it's clear we won't be back, $70 later (plus 2 drinks) and it all ended up in the trash. read more

Taco Tuesday! Entrance had a festive balloon backdrop. Expected to wait 5/10 mins to be seated but we're seated right away. Host was very polite and well spoken. Marisol was our server. She is full of energy and enthusiasm which made our experience wonderful. As far as the food is concerned, we had a few street tacos. Nothing fancy, the steak was a bit dry. I dined here on Monday & I was disappointed. I was immediately seated, but no one came to my table. I turned around & 3 servers were chatting @the end of the bar. I asked if someone could take my order & finally, 1 of them came & did apologize, and said that it was her 1st day. It took a long time for my margarita to arrive and I had to ask Y why it took so long. The chicken soup had lots of meat & veggies, but the broth had very little flavor. Not certain how to determine a rating, so going middle of the road. I went for take out Sunday night and ordered the #1 combo and the taco salad with chicken. The people were very friendly and accommodating, getting me water while I waited for the order. The service was reasonable quick. After I got home and went to eat the Taco Salad, imagine my surprise when there wasn't any chicken on the taco salad. I called when I found out, and after some initial confusion about why I was calling, they apologized and have offered me a 25% discount on my next visit. The taco salad did have good flavor, and my wife liked the #1 combo. We will go back soon to take advantage of the discount, and hopefully the results will be favorable. read more
