Food: I got the Taco Tuesday Tacos, 2 chicken and 2 beef. The beef was fine. The chicken was horrible. The redeeming factor for both were the corn tortillas and they only cost $1.50. My husband got a 10inch burrito. It was really flat, barely thicker than a quesadilla. It was honestly kind of expensive comparing it to cost of a burrito at my local Palo Alto spot. It was also overly salty and did not taste authentic. Drinks: The slushy mango margarita was solid. Service: The free chips and salsa were nice. However, we did not get plates so it was messy when the chip and salsa dropped. No one collected our payment at the end and we walked up to the counter to pay. Will not return. read more

Stopped in for a quick late dinner on a Sunday evening. It was slow. There were only two other tables when we arrived, but that means service was quick and the food came fast. Ordered a pina colada. Creamy and amazing. Usually we order a starter of queso blanco to go with the chips as I'm not a red sauce/salsa eater. Theirs was thinner than average, but still a great flavor. I had the Quesabirria without onion and double rice and my partner ordered the Chile Colorado. He asked for "hot" but said it wasn't very spicy. I don't understand how this place has this many good reviews. First off the salsa, totally bland and watery, like they opened up a can of tomato sauce added water and put it on the table. The chips were decent but that was about it My son ordered steak tacos( his addiction) and said they were terrible. No flavor at all beans had a fruity flavor to them? Like they added pineapple. Another person with us ordered the chicken enchiladas and they were very bland, cold and flavorless. The shrimp tacos were ok. If you are looking for very bland, thrown together Mexican food then this is your place but I would avoid. The only Redeeming aspect of this place was the service. We got two burritos as carryout here. Our order was accurate and was ready quickly. If you do carryout, they have a drive-thru window so you don't need to get out of your car. Our burritos were huge and tasty. They also came with chips. They gave us three salsas (mild, verde, and spicy) and they all tasted fresh. read more

I loved going here. The restaurant was clean, well lit and smelled amazing. The parking lot was close to the restaurant with many spaces. The service was fast and friendly. Treated with chips and salsa. Loved that the chips were still warm. We did end up spending more on drinks then food but that's okay it was worth every penny. read more

We were visiting from Portage, Michigan and after some time at the beach, we were starving. Yelp to the rescue. We were a group of 8, and they accommodated us quickly. Service was great. I don't like bad reviews because sometimes it's just a bad day on the kitchen but as a true Mexican, owners need to know that you can't do people wrong. First the chorizo nachos we ordered only had chips, chorizo, and cheese for around $18? I had to pay extra for the sour cream just so they wouldn't be that dry!!! Come one people for $18 and being that small at least throw some pico de gallo, lettuce, jalapeños etc... then my wife jalisco steak was to tough I thought she was kidding until I tried a piece and wow I wasn't even mad but made me laugh! This had to be a joke!!! It was so hard I could use it as a rock skipper at the Grand Haven pier. If you sell authentic Mexican food then you might want to double check your kitchen because that is not Jalisco style food. Three of us stopped in for lunch and all ordered off of the lunch menu. One ordered tacos, beans, and rice and said the beans were fantastic as were the tacos and rice. The other ordered a burrito and it was HUGE. He said he was overstuffed but kept eating because it was so good. I ordered the lunch fajitas with steak, chicken, and shrimp. My wife and I have came here several times .. the initial dining was great but after that it has gone down , just recently went and the quality of food for both of us was terrible , the vegetables were not cooked thoroughly and some tasted like used a cleaning solution .. we quit eating what we ordered , payed the bill with expressing the poor quality . Margaritas with a side of chips and salsa on my birthday was definitely the right move. Our server, Javi, was super nice and very quick with service. For our order we each got a margarita on the rocks, one flavored with watermelon and one classic. The chips and salsa were so good and the perfect amount of spice and flavor. We were happily eating our food when our son spotted multiple body hairs on his mexican flag platter. Then also on my chicken chorizo platter and all over his jarritos bottle. they did remake the meal that also came out with hair in it. They took that off the bill but needless to say we will not return. Just be mindful for watching for hair in your food. read more

We have been in twice for dinner and both times walked away full and very happy. My husband loved the burrito Jalisco last night and I have really liked both the Monterey chicken and Arroz con Pollo. Portions are good sized, the menu is full of great options with fresh ingredients. The restaurant is clean, service is friendly and food is served so quickly! Great, quick service. Very clean environment and bathrooms. Fun booths, extensive menus with options for picky kids (aka corn dogs and french fries if they don't like Mexican food). Also liked having the option of either cilantro+onions OR lettuce+cheese on the tacos. Large portions (for drinks and food) and super tasty food. The carnitas meat was slightly dry, but overall it was a good experience and affordable that I still give 5 stars. Great service. Quick seating and drinks. The tortilla chips and salsa are really good. The margarita was HUGE! However, it tasted of a mixture of lime, EctoCooler, and some sort of toilet cleaner. It grew on me as the drink went down, but not your traditional Rita. Our food came out quickly. However, the steak for the steak tacos was very dry and overcooked. Best carnitas I've ever had! So flavorful. My friend had the lingua tacos and said they were delicious also. The salsa is yummy. The guacamole was lacking spice, but we did get a free side of spicy salsa so we mixed it in. Oh and the rice and beans were delicious. Will definitely be back! read more

We split the Molcajete Seafood w/ a side of the cheese dip. It was a lot of food and really delicious! There were a few whole onion bulbs w long green stems that were surprising and tasty and a generous amount of scallops which were also very delicious. I enjoyed this new restaurant very much. They are open first dine in seating and carry out. I tried the house speciality and it did not dissapoint. It is served piping hot in a large lava bowl, with carne asada steak, chicken, shrimp and chorizo. It includes an ample side plate of Spanish rice, guacamole, beans, lettuce and sour cream. My wife and I went here the other day and it was the absolute worst "Mexican" "food" we have ever had. She is from San Antonio, so she knows her way around Mexican food. You would expect so much more from a staff that only speaks Spanish. Nothing about our experience was good or pleasant in any way. Not only did the food taste like soggy cardboard, I found a giant hair cooked into my burrito!!! We would have been better off going to the Taco Bell down the street, which is really sad.
