This is the worst Taco John's! The management and service don't care about the customer. They leave things that you purchased out of your bag in the drive-thru and then when you notify them and ask for someone to call you, they never do! They don't care about the customer! read more

If in Kansas City I am always going to eat at a Taco John's at least once! We don't have them in my city and is one of my favorites. This location was probably the smallest I have ever been to, but it was clean and the service was fast. The staff were friendly and greeted us warmly. The food ( I got the Taco Bravo Combo) tasted great. See you next time!! read more

Good is a relative term, but I thought overall it was okay. I had two crunchy tacos and shared the potato tots with cheese sauce with my husband. Let's just say I love tater tots and when you add cheese sauce, I can't resist. I like the cheese sauce much better than their rival, T-Bell. They took our order and we were served fairly quickly, the floors could have used a sweeping, but we were able to find a clean table. I'd probably go back, if only for the tater tots and cheese. read more

I sometimes get a Taco Johns craving that reaches a breaking point. I found this one about 12 minutes away from the Legends shopping area. It's a small one, in the corner of a strip mall. I was greeted, and my order was taken and delivered quickly. Cleanliness takes a hit at this location as they appear barely keeping up with taco-making. The food was hot and fresh. Overall, this location should give you a standard Taco John's experience when you consider food, service, and dining area. read more

This is not the best Taco John's I've ever been to. This location is part of a strip mall, so the drive-thru is interesting, you have to go around the entire building. Nevertheless, the food is ok and the staff has always been polite. read more

Rating -3 They are not open hours listed on the door and online, they will turn away business 20-30 minutes before closing time. We stopped on a Tuesday evening at about 7:35 and sat at the drive thru speaker for close to 10 minutes and they never once did anyone speak to us. It took a local resident to approach us and tell us that this Taco John's closes almost 30 minutes earlier than what's posted everywhere. I am a very big Taco John's fan, but will never stop at this location again. I was willing to look past how dirty this establishment was just to get my TJ's. I have sent an email to corporate to inform them about the shady business operations, but guess what.... No response back, kind of like I'm still sitting at the drive thru speaker waiting for acknowledgment. Might have to send an informative email to Jim Creel (Taco John's CEO) to hopefully get a response. It will be well worth your time to drive a little further for TJ's. read more

Very unprofessional staff including management. I visited the drive thru last night and noticed the crew member making my food wasn't wearing a mask. I politely asked the you lady if she could ask her to put her mask on while preparing my food because I have members in my household that are at high risk. She put it on initially but then go angry and yelled out that someone needed to switch positions with her because some guy add the drive through p!$$ed her off by asking her to put on her mask. The mgr then came to the window when she saw I wasn't very happy and was more or less like to you want your food or not. She pretty much told me that they didn't have to wear masks. Claimed she would reprimand the lady that wasn't wearing the mask and cussing me out but she was literally making the next car's order with her mask off again. I called again today and talked to another manager and the message was the same more or less sorry we aren't sorry. And that they aren't required by Taco John's to wear masks. To the young lady working the drive thru window, thank you for being professional and courteous. Maybe the owner should promote her and get rid of the rest of the crew. read more

Anyplace that doesn't involve me driving 20 minutes out of my way. I'll do it, because I love Taco Johns so much, but I'd be over the moon to have one in the neighborhood. ;) Anyway, let's discuss this particular location. It's tiny due to the fact they are at the end of a little strip mall. Probably one of the smallest Taco Johns I've been in. It's usually busy when we stop by, but service is quick and we can normally wrangle a table. The staff today was very friendly. Greeted us as she on as we walked in. I ordered 2 bean burritos with no cheese. They actually took the time to find out if I was allergic to cheese or if I just didn't like cheese. If I had been allergic they would have made sure to make them in an area where they wouldn't be accidentally cross contaminated with cheese. I felt like this was going above and beyond for a fast food restaurant. I was impressed with their level of concern! Our order was 100% correct and delivered quick. The salsa bar was well stocked, which is always a bonus. The potato oles where magnificent as always. Even my picky children enjoy eating here. I'd probably disown them if they didn't. :) read more

I've only been here twice and both times the person at the drive-through has had an attitude. I don't think I'll go back here and I won't recommend. When I went today I received cold potatoes and Cold taco meat. read more

Went to the drive thru on a Sunday night at about 8:50 when the website says they close at 10. All the chairs were put up and they said the drive thru was closed. Even if the times were incorrect and they closed at 9, they still had 10 minutes to serve customers. Will be calling the manager in the morning and eating at Taco Bell instead tonight! read more

Stopped by for lunch today. Since this was out of my way by 20 min. (one way), I probably thought the experience would be greater than the normal - alas, fooled! I ordered a super burrito combo - just love the black olives on my burrito - super authentico... It was anything but super. Super small, maybe. Light on the beef, and other ingredients and heavy on the beans. Joy. The potato oles were great, fresh, and seasoned perfectly. The drink is where we had the failed moment. The didn't have any iced tea made. The guy said "I haven't made any today". Awesome. Considering this is the only thing I drink beside water, I had to fill my $2.00 drink full of plain ol H2o. I just looked up the potato ole seasoning recipe, and I think I just figured out how to never go here again. Super! read more

Potato Oles are amazing. The grilled stuffed tacos are also really good. It's more expensive than Taco Bell, but I think it is worth every penny. read more
