Absolutely delicious tacos! We ordered eight of them and they are huge, even the breakfast tacos. My favorite of them all has to be the crispy fish taco with the slapping slaw on the taco followed by the shrimp taco. Long line but service is quick. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Plenty of tables outside just watch for the grackles (birds) trying to steal your food.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

I enjoy breakfast tacos and love trying new places. Really wanted to have some tacos while my kids played at a nearby park early in the morning. I was able to order tacos from here online and pick them up really easily to take away. The tacos we got were migas, avocado egg, and cheese egg. The migas breakfast taco was hands down my favorite of the bunch. It was packed with flavor and hit the spot. My kids enjoyed the egg and cheese tacos.

Pretty solid place for tacos. Unlike a lot of places in town, still only $3.50 for a breakfast taco. Homemade flour tortillas. Good thickness. Warmed up nicely before serving. Had chorizo and egg on flour and bacon and egg. Both good. Chorizo wasn't overly greasy. Bacon is crumbled, which is great.

We came here before our flight home so we wouldn't be hungry eating airport food. We tried the following: Ham, egg & cheese Migas El Senor Crockett El 4/20 Street Taco Honestly, anything with beef here is really good. The potato strings on El 4/20 had a nice texture crunch and contrast. The Senor Crockett was probably my favorite out of the beef tacos, the grilled onions, peppers and cheese went really well. All the salsas were solid, I thought they would be super hot based off their chart. I didn't think they were too spicy at all. My kids liked the ham and cheese breakfast taco a lot. I thought the migas was surprisingly good since it didn't have any meat in it, just eggs. Overall, we really enjoyed it and would try it again if in the area.

Was in the area and this place was highly recommended. When you park be sure to inform the waitress, so they won't charge you. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Anyways the place is as crowded and all staff were nice and attendant to us immediately.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The food was as outstanding and they are super generous with their helpings. I really enjoyed the cup of coffee , it was smooth and strong like a good bourbon. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The inside was nicely decorated and clean.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Will definitely hit this joint again, LOL.

This was my first time at Taco Joint and I am so happy I was introduced to this place! It's everything I love in an authentic taco spot in ATX. [[HIGHLIGHT]]A bit of a hole in the wall, but still plenty nice.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Friendly service, handmade flour tortillas, big portions and delicious salsa. I got the fish taco and street taco. Both extremely filling. The fish taco specially was the star of the shoe. Perfectly fried! The red salsa was a perfect addition to the meal.

Meh. This was our second taco stop for the day and probably would have skipped it next time. For one, tacos are a bit pricey. It's probably because they're fairly large, which I actually thought was too large. I would've preferred smaller tacos both for the sake of trying multiple items and for feasibility of eating them. The fish taco in particular was a bit underwhelming, but the meat tacos were pretty fine. The home-made chips, though, were really good with the guacamole, so that I would order again. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Outdoor seating is nice if the weather is nice, which it was.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

The location is pretty great, it's nice to find a spot to eat In the area where parking isn't an issue. We went on Austin's 2025 snow day, they were open and had salted their lot and the ramp into the store. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Unfortunately their heat was broken in the store that day and their poor employees looked like they were freezing in full coats.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] But they were friendly, the food was warm, and the service was quick. I had their chorizo and egg taco and a barbacoa taco. Both were very big and tasted great. I paired it with their habanero salsa and their avocado salsa. Neither were very spicy but had good flavor. [[HIGHLIGHT]]This place is VERY casual, but a great lunch spot.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Great breakfast tacos, fresh tortillas, good sauces. Fast and fresh. I'm just updating the menu photos because they are out of date, and the online order form doesn't describe the contents.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Taco Joint is a clean little restaurant were very good breakfast tacos.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I fully enjoyed mine with a cup of hot coffee. I had the house made flour tortillas, which were quite good. The eggs were well seasoned and all the toppings worked together beautifully. Order at the counter and pick up your food when they call your number. [[HIGHLIGHT]]No frills, just good food in a cozy dining room.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I would definitely return.

Perfect spot for a quick bite. They have a fairly large patio if you'd like to sit outside or take it to go. They get pretty busy on the weekends. This day we sat outside to enjoy our meal. My go to is usually the Street Taco. It was was good, but I feel like the taco's used to be larger. Queso is on point. Decided to try and Enchilada Fries and they were pretty tasty! Also can't forget to pair it with a Mexican Coke :) Also if you like spicy try their Habanero Salsa.

    Another awesome breakfast!

We stayed at an overpriced hotel to see the eclipse and I couldn't wait to stretch our legs and have authentic tacos. They were so heavenly, we ate there at least once a day. They have a great selection and serve them up super fast. We never got tired of the menu! Lots of great outdoor spots to eat with hungry birds watching your every bite, waiting for your scraps. Highly recommended!

You'll get a quality taco and good sauce options at taco joint. The line can be long and the parking is minimal if you go at peak times.

Arriba Abajo as you walked in just gave me all the vibes of a happening place when you want to hang out with friends and have a great time. We ordered the braised ribs rolled tacos for appetizers. It was so fresh and kicking' with all kinds of flavors. I wish I had ordered another one. The avocado sauce layered on the bottom was just enough to keep wanting more. For lunch I ordered the Carneasada Fajitas with chimichurri and my husband ordered the Carneasada Taqueria. With my fajitas came a side of frijoles, green rice & flour tortillas. Corn flour was the other option. Both meals came in pipin' hot & the smell coming from both was very aromatic, zesty & spice. Amazing taste, flavors, just the right amount of marinade on the Carneasada with a hint of lime. It was so delicious while enjoying the ambiance. Our server was a delight and took very good care of us. We didn't order any of their alcoholic beverages since we were both working, but definitely we will be back to enjoy more food and try out their beverages.

So we were thinking of tacos or Mexican food and my daughter suggested this spot as she had come here with some friends and really enjoyed their sopecitos. I had never had a sopecito! What is that! So we had to try... We were lucky to arrive at the right time (9 pm!) where we got their last table!! Make reservations or something because this is another one of those places that fills up! Well I got the chicken sopecitos , my daughter got the pork ones and my partner got the meat tacos. Everything was delicious, the food arrived promptly, the portion size was perfect and bountiful and everything was super enjoyable. I really enjoyed trying some New Mexican favorites. I've only been once and it's definitely not gonna be the last time. In fact, we've got an upcoming reservation that's been on the books for quite sometime. They've managed to remain delicious, relevant and in demand 50 years! That's saying something. I'll tell you what that says...it says they rule! Reservations can be tricky to get but oh so worth it. The bar & atrium are fantastic and they boast a generous happy hour. The restaurant area and entire space are decorated wonderfully. Amazing artwork adorns the walls, they've got extensive art all about, vaulted ceilings and more. It's kind of like being in a hacienda. It feels like you're in Mexico. Truly. The restaurant and food are upscale without being pretentious. How refreshing! Speaking of refreshing...they've got cocktails and mocktails that will knock your socks off. I'm a big fan of the Nojito. My boyfriend loves the Mexican martini (it's primo). Let's talk about food. Wow-wee is it everything and then some. This is the kind of Tex-Mex flavor that sends your tastebuds into a tailspin of goodness! On our visit we did a salsa flight (we did 3 salsas), the queso (melted muenster and Oaxacan), Wagyu beef tacos, and chicken verde enchiladas. We did a spread like that in order to share everything. Food so good I'd give ten stars if I could. I can't put my finger on it but there's just something so special about the food, the taste of it, and the quality. It's just incredible flavor explosion bite after bite. If I had to guess, I'd say the food has been made with love, skill, and attention to detail all these years. Hence, their amazing reputation. Service is beyond compare. Hands down some of the best I've experienced in all of my worldly travels. Fonda San Miguel (Tzintzuntzan) is a dream come true!
