A few suggestions: - Bring cash! They don't accept cards. - Don't bother ordering the rice and beans. They are...meh! I love rice and beans but these ones, I just couldn't get on board with. - Stick with the basics I ordered a 2 chicken tacos plate (comes with rice and beans). They asked if I wanted cheese on my tacos and I said yes. I got the food home and found that they gave me 1 chicken taco with rice and beans. There is an interesting and not particularly palatable seasoning that they put in their beans and the rice was oily. I was sad that I only got 1 taco because that was definitely the best part (once I took the over abundance of cheese off). If I go back, I will order 2 chicken tacos with no cheese and no sides. They also gave us some chips and salsa. I hate to say this but they may have the worse salsa I've ever tasted. One of them was red and tasted like crushed canned tomatoes. The other was pink and was somewhat flavorful but had absolutely no kick to it. I dumped the whole container on my taco and it really didn't add anything. It is the most boring salsa I've ever tasted. Stick to the basics here guys. The server was so incredibly nice and accommodating. As I always say, service can make or break a place. They're doing it right at this little taco shop when it comes to customer service. read more

We tried several Mexican restaurants in Wenatchee and decided this was one of the best. Chili Relleno, beef tacos with cheese, enchiladas, all delicious. Chips are yummy also. Good value, good flavor, good service. read more

Love Taco Loco... It's a quiet and small but amazing atmosphere and food.

It was good food - fresh ingredients and authentic. Only a couple of tables, the waitress was nice, and the food came quickly. I had a chimichanga which was delicious. Portions were large, the tortilla chips were fresh. I have to say the thing that pushed this over the top from very good to amazing was my 12 y.o. son ordered ceviche with octopus (typically served raw, but he ordered it warm) and liked it. Usually he'll go to a mexican restaurant and try to order chicken nuggets. I don't know what pushed him over the edge, but he chewed his way through quite a few pieces of octopus (and they were generous with both the octopus and shrimp) and said it was terrific. Menudo was the special - which we didn't order. My daughter had a taco, and she said she'd give it five stars as well. Nice little restaurant, definitely worth a visit. read more

Yes! There is a reason to come to Wenatchee and it is Taco Loco! Had a feeling that this place was going to be good based on the reviews but it knocked our socks off! The shrimp was perfectly cooked and seasoned. Crane asada was thin, tender and seasoned well. Service was super friendly and accommodating. Wanted to box this place up and take it back to Seattle. I visited this place a couple weeks ago. Now, I wouldn't say I'm a Mexican food connoisseur, but I can tell the difference between good and poor Mexican food. Taco Loco definitely has good Mexican food. I ordered the wet burrito (beef) and it was the perfect amount of food. The chips and salsa were some of the best I've had at a Mexican restaurant. The service was friendly and great. The actual size of the restaurant is not that big, so I could see how space may be a problem during peak hours. I would reccommend this place to anyone in the area. read more

Definitely give this place props for the amount of food given at the price. It was definitely authentic. I had a shrimp burrito and it was just ok, nothing spectacular. My husband got a beef taco and a quesadilla. They did not disappoint! Next time if I get a chance I will get regular tacos instead. It's more of a 3.5 stars than 3. read more

Delicious! Inexpensive! Friendly staff! This is one of my favorite Mexican restaurants ever. I eat here at least once per week and pretty much ignore any other Mexican food in Wenatchee. The chicken tacos, veggie burrito, and wet-burrito are usually what I order but you can't go wrong. The chips are delightful and the salsa has the perfect amount of heat. Taco Loco is pretty small, so if you have a large group it's probably best to carry-out. Family owned and run this place exudes customer service. They only accept cash so be sure to swing by the ATM, you don't want to miss out on this authentic Mexican food. read more

hola,Amigos, amigas! o.k. so, your in Wenatchee's Columbia station awaiting a 'link' bus you could go downstairs and visit D."C. straight cafe, or take a short walk outside and upthe hill to Wenatchee ave. for some great Mexican at at TacoLoco.they don't serve Mochas or lattes , but two chicken(pollo) tacos or a grande burrito isfairly inexpensive. wash it down with a cervesa(corona,dos equis,modelo,etc.) if your inside.No alchohol allowed on the porch. free chips n salsa , this is as close to the Mission(san francisco 0 as your going to find inWenatchee. good, cheap,filling food eat half now, half later food!! i;m looking forward to the day i finally try thier 'wet burrito 'it's been recomended highly to me! i'll tell you all about it! I wish someone else in the reviews had mentioned that they don't accept debit or credit cards. Cash and checks only. We ordered the "super taco" and a chili rellano. Both were outstanding! I wish I could get a chili rellano like this west of the Cascades. Chips and salsa...awesome. We asked for some salsa to go, and the guy poured us a cupful out of a pitcher. We ordered lime with our Pacifico's and were told they didn't have any. When they brought the beers we were asked if we'd like lemon, I said "sure"....he brought us limes! I had the huevos rancheros. Real good. the ranchera sauce on the eggs was kind of a a pink liquid, and the beans seemed canned, but the rice was good, as well as the salsa . About as close to tex mex style as one could find in this area. read more

If could I would not even give this place a star at all. I ordered there ceviche tostadas and it was just tomato and onions with a little bit of either fish or crab. It was way to spicy to eat. It was more like a salsa than ceviche. Horrible place to eat. It was my first time going and my last. By the way i payed 20 Dollars for pretty much pico de gallo. FML I'm still hungry !!!! read more

Taco Loco looks like a small hole in the wall kind of place, but it is a gem of a restaurant. The chips and salsa are Ok, but it is the meals that are the stars. I had the chicken and steak fajitas , the onions and peppers were cooked down to a sweet blend with delicious meats, plenty of sour cream and guacamole, and a stack of corn tortillas. Our server was friendly and helpful and made our dinner a pleasure. He suggested the friend ice cream, but we were full so we will have to stop by for dessert next time we are out. read more

Decided to try this place based on the good reviews. This was the worst Mexican food I've ever had in the Wenatchee area! We ordered and shared the house special platter, prawns and bacon and carne asada. The prawns were overcooked and fishy tasting, bacon was rock-hard. The carne asada had the beef sliced WITH the grain, making it difficult to cut with a knife, to say nothing of your fork or your teeth! To be fair, the veggies were pretty tasty and the guacamole, despite some negative comments in here, was good. The place was busy, with just 1 server, but service was still prompt and pleasant. I guess the motto here is: don't trust anybody from western Washington to review a BBQ joint OR a Mexican restaurant. With something like 50 Mexican eateries in the immediate area, we'll never be back to this one. read more

Very good food at a good price. Large portions and good service, food cooked right in the sane room with you. Bathroom is a bit disgusting, but it did the job. Complimentary chips and salsa are great, then the food is very good as well. Beer available. read more
