Very laid back vibe with multiple seating options to accommodate 1, 2 or 8 - and owners Millie (the bartender) and Illya (sp.) chef would def accommodate larger parties. Millie's spicy margarita was delish, and the tacos are the real deal - the fish taco I had was drool-worthy‼ The wings were juicy and uniquely spiced - perfect appetizers with the limed margaritas. We loved the green sauce. We also got Enchilada Trip. The brisket one was the best of the enchilada. The other two la k flavor so we had to ask for salt and salsa. They do give you a lot of food. The rice was soft which I appreciate. Experience wasn't bad but I wasn't so impressed with food and beverage. The bathroom area needed cleaning. One of the two bathroom stall was broken and smelled bad. They are busy on this street so they should make a bigger effort to at least keep it clean.

The hostess/ front of house boss, who was operating from the bar of this 10-12 table location, was gracious and endearing (in the way that an almost overbearing host can be- that meant as a compliment). The drinks took a minute, my fiancé's salad needed blue cheese brought out as it was left off (single most off-putting thing: the waitress, I suspect language mastery being the cause of this rather than malice or willful deceit, flat out told her that blue cheese did not come with the wedge salad...but when boss lady at the bar was asked, this was quickly corrected), there was a heavy does of reggae music. All of this less than optimal. The food was very good, though I can't remember off the top of my head what I had (it's been a month). Nor did I take pics: it seemed like it'd detract from the experience. There weren't any complaints about the food from others. (So I went back and looked at the menu: potstickers as an app- pretty good; baked local seafood as the main- good, but it is what it is in that not a ton of nuance added so as to let the seafood do the talking. The portion was decent for the price. I didn't leave stuffed, but for $38, very reasonable.) All in all, the first visit merits a second visit next year (as the website says they are temporarily closed to seek new management).

You can always tell by the chips and salsa if the place is going to be good and the chips and salsa here are good - unique, but definitely good. I always eat a meat burrito and it is cooked to perfection for me. Not too runny, not too cooked. The people that work here are super nice and fun to talk to. Although I haven't been yet, they host parties on weekend nights and karaoke nights as well. If I didn't work early each day I would totally join in!
