John C from Westchester So my fellow foodies it's August so I'm in the cape, specifically Hyannis And as we do every year we visit Anejo Mexican Bistro, usually once or twice this year we went three times, So I must say they are amazing food is the same deliciousness every year, This we had Lobster enchiladas insanely delicious with lots of lobster meat, we had the carne asada it's delicious, quesadillas and tacos were also great, drinks delicious and staff no matter how busy they are very nice and try to please you always, So to folks at Anejo keep doing what you do, place is beautiful and food delicious, so hopefully see you soon but defenitely next August god willing And remember always Mangia Bene, Vivi Bene"

Everything we had was delicious! We came late around 9pm for dinner but it was still high energy and great vibes. I ordered the chicken quesadilla with a side of rice and loved it. The quesadilla was delicious and the rice was amazing and so flavorful. For drinks I had their Moscow mule which was good and made quickly. Overall it was a fun meal!

This spot was beautiful, both inside the restaurant and under the massive beautiful tree. I have never experience ambiance like this. The cocktails were great and so was the food. Everyone was very happy with their choices! Our server, Kiley was absolutely amazing. She made sure we have everything we wanted and needed and gave great recommendations and helped us choose great things! It was a great dining experience. I will def be back the next time I'm in that area!

Cute and vibey. Apparently turns into a lounge/club place at night but very clean and nice. Went on Sunday in January and they were well staffed. I think we were the start of a lunch rush (off the ferry). Service was quick and food didn't take long. Salsa and guac with our chips were very fresh tasting. Salsa wasn't too spicy. We got a second basket of chips and salsa just before we got to the bottom of our first basket which was nice. I got the tres tacos. Definitely suggest. You get a mix of the tacos. Pulled pork, steak, then chicken. All were flavorful and there was plenty of protein which is always a concern for me.

Amazing atmosphere and equally amazing food! Some of the best Mexican I've had and certainly the best food I've had in the Cape Cod area. Margaritas are delicious and fairly priced. Fried pickles were flavorful and crispy. Birria quesadilla was also fantastic. Will definitely go back the next time I'm in cape cod!

Beautiful spot on a sunny day! Outdoor tables under a large tree. All shade, bring a jacket. Margaritas are fantastic, and Joe the bartender will help find exactly the right one for your mood. Highly recommend the chicken flautas- enough for a meal! Lots of raw onions on the tres tacos.

Excellent restaurant good service. The food is great and very generous with the chips. Try not to fill up LOL. Got the guacamole and queso as well, very tasty. The Margaritas were nice but a bit weak with the pour :(. My chimichanga was delicious, and everyone else at the table enjoyed their meal. Last but not least the tree is incredible. Extremely unique place to eat. Highly recommend. - Greg C

Decided to try Anejo in Hyannis for my wife's birthday. We have been to the Falmouth location, but this location is roomier and you have the big beech tree out if you decide to sit out back. There were four of us for dinner, and we showed up right before 5PM and were greeted and sat down immediately indoors as it was too cold to sit outside. Our waitress came by with chips and salsa which we devoured. She was very attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable whenever we had any questions. We started out with drinks two Cucumber Margaritas, Espresso Martini, and a glass of wine. All drinks were very tasty and reasonably priced. We shared the Spicy Fried Pickles for an appetizer. They were crispy and full of flavor and the dipping sauce was good as well. I ended up getting the carne asada taco's. There were three of them and very flavorful, the meat was juicy even though I got them without the avocado sauce (allergic to avacodos). Our son in law got the birria quesadilla, dear daughter ordered a bowl of refried beans, and a bowl of mexican street corn, and finally my wife ordered the carnitas verde burrito plate. The food was sooooo good and plentiful. We did not leave hungry. We finished the celebration meal with four shots of chilled Casamigos tequila. We will try and get back when it's warmer to sit under the beech tree.

Complimentary chips and salsa. Chips seemed homemade and salsa had great flavor. Not too spicy

And everything was very good. I came on Tuesday, so I enjoyed the benefits of taco Tuesday and the house margarita which was excellent. I stayed at the Fairfield Inn .2 miles away and walked here to avoid drinking and driving. What a great place to visit without the worries of boozing and cruising. If Brianna is working the bar, you're in great shape. She is genuine, attentive and beautiful!

The tiny back bar looked nicely private and more quiet. Our server, Doug, was fantastic, he set the stage for a nice experience by being friendly and very attentive. He made good recommendations describing each drink and dish helping me order well. The menu is large on choices and today Is taco Tuesday and they offer an additional menu at $14.95 and a mini margarita for $7.95. I ordered off this tonight. Birria beef tacos that came with 2 small flour tortillas (not fried as I was informed in advance) but filled generously full of delicious seasoned beef. It included & a thick consommé sauce for dunking & only one side choice, I had refried beans, all was very nicely flavored and the dipping was rich n tasty. I started with the $7.95 margarita but it was pretty good but petite and it looked more fancy advertised than it was. (Don't take the straw offered or it's gone in 4 sips ) The regular version margarita was much more satisfying and tequila selection is vast. My friends enjoyed the coconut margaritas with coconuty toasted rim and pineapple wedge. For dessert we shared the decadent Raspberry Cheesecake chimi $8.50 with a chocolate fudge sauce. Like a too sweet n' rich kids pop tart, we laughed together and ate it all up! I know this is not gourmet cuisine or even that good of a representation of Mexican food, but I enjoyed it. They tried hard with whimsical decor and seem to always have a crowd.

When I couldn't decide on a cocktail, Sandra readily recommended the Grapefruit Martini -- it was delicious and totally the right call, Hubby's Tito's Cosmo was also well-made. For dinner, Hubby had the Chicken Parm - it was enormous and delicious, chicken was cooked well and the homemade pasta was a perfect al dente. The sauce was very good, but there was too much cheese for his taste, an easy fix to move to the side. There was plenty to take home for a second meal so it was an even better value. I chose the Spinach Salad, which was fresh and tasty with artichokes and goat cheese. Again, it was a generous portion for a very good price. We rarely indulge in dessert but we were convinced to try the homemade Tiramisu and it was amazing, just the way I make it myself. It's very hard to find a Tiramisu that is so authentic. We absolutely recommend Tumi, based on our experience it would be had to make a bad decision from their menu.

We got complimentary bruschetta that is toasted well and delicious. Tried the tuna ceviche for the first time. The lime juice gave it good flavor and was a good appetizer. My first glass of vinho verde wine was served at room temperature (the second was fine), and the side plate I was given was crusted with dried food residue. I also watched an employee behind the bar wipe her nose with her hand and then continue slicing citrus barehanded. The chicken empanadas were good but not particularly special. We also had one of the small pizzas, which was the best thing of the night, crispy and flavorful (with a little char at the edges, which we like). The decor is a little bananas (different shades of green between the walls, the napkins, the barstools, and the banquettes; five kinds of lighting fixtures; lots of sound and lighting items with exposed, hasty-looking wiring). The bathroom door doesn't really close and lock properly. And the restaurant is really loud, even half full. The writing on the menu, about family members and special recipes, tells me that there's pride here and real care about making a good restaurant. However, without the attention to detail (particularly cleanliness and hygiene!), that's kind of moot. Three stars instead of two here because the pizza was good and the staff obviously care about customers.
