The food was delicious and excellent and service was great. We enjoyed eating here Friday so much we brought our grandson there Saturday.

We made it to Chattanooga at 10:30pm and was very hungry!!! By the time we checked into our hotel it was already 11:00! I needed food and the only spot that seemed good and open was taco Mac!!! Best thing about it, it was only a 4 min walk from our hotel!! We set at the bar! And was greeted by 6'3 Porter! A running joke of the night was his hight! He had a great sense of humor even with an empty bar top and one drunk costumer who forgot he even placed a food order and left without it! Haha Anyways he suggested the wings since they seem to be the most popular item on the menu! And he wasn't wrong! They were just perfect! I was so tired I couldn't even eat them all so now I have leftovers! Yummm! Braydon had the tacos and he devoured them so I'm sure they were delicious! Definitely a great spot in down town Chattanooga on a late night arrival!

Ordered a to go order and was served moldy bread on my sandwich. This is a health hazard.

Julie was an amazing waitress, the food is always on point, and the wait time was virtually non-existent for everything. Great vibe for the opening night of Preseason for this years NFL season and we will definitely be back!

I ordered some boneless wings to go, excited because they have great wings. Well apparently not tonight. I get my wings and they are so dry and dusty crusty. Literally looked like naked boneless wings (so chicken nuggets). I didn't get a chance to look at my food until I got back home and when I saw my food I called to tell them. I am not a Karen I promise, I'm a college student just trying to eat some good wings. They offered to give me extra sauce instead of remaking them. Just wait until you see the pic, it explains itself.

Back in our college days we go to Taco Mac at least once a week. It's been a few years since we've been, but they completely changed the entire interior, it's now a massive open area that doesn't truly block the sound and made the dining room way too small. We went on a Saturday night and the place was slammed. The menu has changed a bit, not as much as before but still a lot to choose from. Staff are mostly college kids, but super friendly. So many beers to choose from, so if that's your thing, definitely make it a point to visit.

This was the size of the side of fries

It took 3 times to get the burger I ordered. They kept bringing out one with things I said I did not want. Small portion sizes for the sides. Kids Mac and cheese is macaroni and pimento cheese but that is not stated on the menu. They were nice about fixing issues. Definitely underwhelmed by food and quantity.

My husband had the Smoked Brisket French Dip - Smoked Brisket, Caramelized Onions, Provolone Cheese, Au Jus, French Hoagie with Beer Battered Fries. I had The Motherclucker - Springer Mountain Farms Southern Fried Chicken, Spiced Pickles, Hot Sauce, Duke's Mayo, Niedlov's Bun. Hunter recommended adding Pepper Jack cheese and Bacon, as well as the Brussels Sprouts with Maple & Bacon. Everything was wonderful. There were way too many Brussels sprouts. It also would have been nice if they were cut into smaller pieces. They had a special dessert of Blackberry Cobbler with Vanilla Ice Cream. This brought back childhood memories of my grandmother's cobblers. My husband had the Brownie with Vanilla Ice Cream.

Upon entering we were greeted by warm and friendly staff. Wait time was reasonable (20 mins) and there was a fair amount of seating. There were about 3-4 groups waiting to be seated. We were walked through the establishment and seated at a booth table near the bar. If you are into sports you can see the TVs from just about every seat. The waitress arrived shortly after our seating and took our appetizer and drink order. We started with the Triple B. The fries came out quickly, were hot, fresh and delicious. The drink I ordered was out, but the waitress gave another option, but unfortunately that was out as well. Ended up having an old favorite, Guinness. For our meals we ordered the smoked brisket French dip and the wagyu burger. Upon ordered the burger our waitress informed us there was a shortage of patties and if we still wanted the burger we would get one patty instead of two, but at a lower cost. Both dishes were amazing and we couldn't finish them as both the fries and the entrees were larger in comparison to other places we have eaten. Overall this was a great experience with great food. The only thing we had difficulty with is having to use the phone flashlight to read the menu as the lighting was really dim. Will definitely return if we take another trip here.

I had a couple of beers, paid my bill, I went back to my hotel to get some work done, then came back for dinner. Monday night's special is any po'boy and they throw in a cold beer for free! I can't pass that up... I got the roast beef drippings po'boy with horseradish mayo and a side cup of pimento cheese grits; everything was excellent, but the sandwich was really messy. Still tasted really good, though. Three beers, a great sammich (although I'll probably get the oyster or catfish option next time), and a side of creamy grits for $40 total between two visits (that includes tips). I will definitely be back to this place next time I'm in Chattanooga. It looks like there are great specials each night Monday through Friday; I just happened to be here on Monday. Service was very prompt and able to offer some insight on the po'boys, which was helpful. *NOTE* the walk is through apartments and townhouses so pretty safe but no sidewalk for part of it.

I can't remember all the varieties, but we usually get 2 of each kind of oyster they have available. It's a great way to start for the adults and the kids seem to go to town on the saltines. STIR has an extensive drink menu including various whiskeys and mocktails. We've generally ordered some kind of fish and a salad/poke bowl. The kitchen does a really great job of not overcooking the fish and there's the perfect amount of salt, fat and acid to flavor. The only thing that could be better is how they cook their white rice - it's not fluffy and has more of a gummy texture in both their poke bowl and their seasonal bento box. Ordinarily we wouldn't get desserts when Clumpies is a brief walk over, but this time we got their matcha cheesecake and layered chocolate cake. Both were delicious but between the two, I'd say the cheesecake was the best. Service is generally great here - they're attentive, friendly and give great recommendations. I also like how kid-friendly this restaurant is with a kids menu and crayons. While the ambiance doesn't feel kid-friendly, I like that this space allows parents to feel like they're having a night out while still able to have the kids in tow. We're fans and would definitely come back.

Walk Ons was a sport bar/restaurant, and the motif really hasn't changed (there are over 50 TV's present) they are clearly downplaying that element has over half of the TV's were either off or had rotating art. It was so obvious I had to ask and was advised the new ownership was looking to distance themselves from that image, while projecting a finer dining image. Clearly neither the motif nor the menu was indicative of such a shift, but that will require an additional visit. Their burger entry for Burger Week was excellent, the accompanying hand cut fries were hot and tasty. The beer selection was a bit light for my liking. The service was excellent, always important. I'm a bit at a loss as to how to rate Riverport Grille. My experience tonight was positive, it was a great burger. So as a participant in this week's Burger Week event, a positive result. The disconnect on the sports theme is so obvious to me, impacting the likelihood of my future return.
