I can't fathom how a restaurant like this is running behind on a Friday when they are not necessarily busy and have plenty of staff. I arrived at and seated at 640 didnt order my beer until 705 ordered my kids food at 705 it's 741 and nothing the server hasn't even come to check on us. Someone tried to help and brought cold pepper jack mac for my kids . Businesses have to get back to making customer service a priority. We visited Taco Mac- Douglasville around 8:30 PM on a Friday night. There was a wait of about ten minutes. Our server Avery was great. She was understanding and made good food recommendations. We started with a few appetizers: fried mozzarella sticks and the trio dip which came with guacamole, queso dip, salsa, tortilla chips, & tortillas. My son loved the cheese sticks and guacamole. The salsa was spicy! For our main entree, we ordered the oven roasted chicken wings (We chose these flavors: Cajun Voodoo Magic, Asian Sweet Heat and Medium) with french fries. The oven roasted chicken wings were good but could have been a little crispier. I reallt enjoyed the cajun voodoo magic and Asian sweet heat flavor. We did not like one flavor and our server was so helpful in helping us return those with no hassle. Because we were celebrating a birthday, we were also offered a complimentary dessert. The customer service and food made this a good experience overall. The wings also reheated well the next day in the oven (on 375 F for about 12 minutes) for lunch. This place is very hit and miss! They might have some personnel turnover issues. I've had good food and good service and bad food with amazingly slow service. I guess roll the dice? Last night, 5/31/24, TM in Hiram must have had their A+ team working! I've been at TM before, but our experience last night was PHENOMENAL! It started with a guy named JT, who greeted us with the biggest smile. We felt so welcomed as if he was honored to see us. He walked us to a table and bent down. There was a quarter sized fry on the floor! You could barely see it. I was thoroughly impressed by that! Then our waiter came over, his name was Darius. He was so attentive, courteous, and quick. There was a guy named Jeremiah who brought out our food. I noticed that I had one flat and nine drums. He, Darius and a very nice young man named Max were at the table when I explained my dilemma and they quickly went into action. As most people know, flats are a favorite. When Jeremiah noticed my challenge, he took ownership, apologized for the inconvenience and placed another order. This gesture was extremely thoughtful and the level of professionalism was definitely appreciated. He personally brought my food out! It was piping hot and oh so good! As I ate, Max came by and said "auntie, did we get you taken care of?" I smiled and nodded and said "yes nephew!" He was tickled. We aren't related obviously, but the family, fun atmosphere that TM wants to portray was very well executed last night! It was pretty late and I didn't expect everyone to be so vibrant as they would at the start of the shift. I have to say, this Dream Team should be recognized for their dedication to TM and its customers. Kudos to Jeremiah and the entire crew. I had such a good dine-in experience recently, I suggested carry out to my husband. We ordered to two chicken quesadillas. They were so horrible we could only eat a few bites. They were swimming in grease and had no flavor. We tried adding salt and it didn't help. The filling was if it had been grounded in a blender. We threw the away. This was my 1st time going to this Douglasville location. The outside seating could use a little work, it looked a little deserted and pollen infested. When we entered we were greeted by friendly staff and seated almost immediately. The indoor layout was great with TV's everywhere to catch up with all the games. Visited here for a UGA game. Got in about a half hour before the game and stayed alllllllllmost to the very end. Brought the extended family, took up a booth, and watched some of the many overly big screens as UGA took down Notre Dame. We ate a lot, we drank a lot, and we had a ton of fun. Our server was tireless in her efforts, even though we were in it for the long haul. The food is better than your average bar, and the portion sizes are solid. The restrooms (which are always greatly appreciated when in it for the long haul) were decent. Not terribly clean, and quite a bit smaller than I'd expect for a place so large, but they were serviceable and I didn't find myself doing "the dance" as if I had to hold it until I had gotten home. I ordered 100 wings to go, extra crispy with blue cheese. There's no option on the website to order sauce, but in the past I've had no problems getting it from the waitstaff when I pick up. Tonight when I picked up after paying 117 dollars for wings they told me I have to pay 11 more dollars for sauce which would be free if it was on the wings but keeping it separate is extra. Would not have been a big deal if they already hadn't taken an hour to make my order, and then handed it to me and walked away while I was trying to talk. Top it all off I get home and I don't have blue cheese. I have ranch. Trash service. The people who pick up my trash have better customer service. The bartender was nice enough to put down her phone and walk over to let us know she doesn't do carry out orders, so that's something I guess. read more

If I could give zero stars, I would. For the restaurant to be so empty, it is a super surprise that it took our food about an hour to come out. The spinach and artichoke dip was subpar. It completely lacked flavor, and the bread that came with it was either cooked yesterday or early this morning. Terrible. Our food came out fairly lukewarm/cold, and not to mention, not all of our food came out at once. Egg on one of the burgers was not cooked properly, and when we asked the server to have them remake the egg, it came out worse. Very poor experience, and cold food doesn't make it any better. Great stop for lunch. We got a few things - the black garlic dry rubbed wings served Roasted not fried. They were excellent Awesome beer list and bonus - they offer flights! I used to be a regular customer with my boyfriend and we would come here every Saturday night and we would always sit at the bar with Kendra as our server and she was AMAZING. She stopped working Saturdays and every time after that our service has been sub-par with a few good ones. Whenever we eat in the food is usually good and it has no mistakes. Although, we also order DoorDash very consistently and EVERY SINGLE TIME the food is an absolute disaster. My boyfriend orders the bacon ranch burger. I order the bbq shrimp tacos and we get a large chips and queso. When we order about 4 shrimp per taco, get salsa verde, original salsa, limes and something pickled. When I order out (EVERY TIME) I get 2 shrimp per taco, no salsa verde, no original salsa, no limes and no pickled whatever. I also usually get NO BBQ suave on my tacos. My boyfriend usually ends up with absolutely no ranch on his bacon ranch burger, 1 piece of bacon and an absolutely burnt burger. One time they gave us a small queso instead of large Another time they gave us a large queso container and it only was 1/4 full. And the last time we got queso but absolutely no chips to eat the queso with. I have called them every single time and I explain every single time that the food is always wonderful at the restaurant but for some reason every single togo order is messed up. Idk if they have different cooks doing take out orders but it is absolutely horrible and we don't plan on giving them our money anymore. read more

This place is lit! My boy and I like to knock back a couple of pints, sometimes a tea or two. After a couple of pints, if I'm lucky, he'll buy a bicycle for one of my girlfriends in Singapore. Bartenders are great, they give out keychains. They do an excellent job at cricket management. Top notch! They keep all the crickets out. ;) After 7 or 12 pints, my boy and I like to head to El Galaxy. AKA The Discotheque. My boy is a ICE agent, so they don't like him so much there. My husband and I come to Taco MAC 2 or 3 times a month and it's quickly become one of our favorite spots! Having moved from a very beer-geek type of culture city to a more rural area was an adjustment for us, but we've found solace in T. Mac!
