The no longer have the wednesday special they used to, so thats unfortunate, but still worth it, just maybe less often lol. I used to go to the Belflower location for years when they were just a small stand. Happy to see they've have multiple locations now and thriving. This location had some covered outdoor seating with a few fans, on a hot day its not the best, but manageable. Ignore the hype. We stopped by after a doctor's appointment because we've heard great things. The service was nothing special. We sat down and waited for our order, keep in mind there is no inside seating at this location. There were flies everywhere which made it hard to keep still and enjoy our time. Our food finally came out and the young lady who brought it couldn't even tell us which tacos were shrimp or fish.. On to the food - Fish tacos: 2/5 The fish was extremely bland. We felt like the veggie toppings were the only thing giving the taco flavor. Would not recommend. Shrimp taco: 2/5 3 total shrimp, veggie overload. Nothing to write home about. Similar issue as the fish but at least there was a tiny amount of flavor present in this. Not too fishy which was a positive note. Asada + Shrimp Burrito: 2/5 The meat was extremely salty, I couldn't even taste the shrimp or the beans inside. Barely any shrimp too. The salsa and lime somewhat covered up the bland flavors. Do not get this. Rice (L) : 4/5 The one thing that was good alone. It wasn't too dry and was pretty good when not paired with anything else. Beans (S): 4/5 Refried beans, nothing amazing. PARKING: Be careful heading into the lot because there's an entrance and an exit only part. I saw someone almost get hit going in the wrong way. Huge lot! There isn't any indoor seating but there are tables outside. From what I heard this location is the original and it's so good. Service was not exceptional nor was it rude. You go up, order and you get what you ordered. No fluff. I would say it is in a dodgy area but the food is worth it. I'm not coming here for the atmosphere. They're known for their fish tacos and although it's very good I prefer their shrimp tacos. Their chili's are also very good and I don't even like spicy food. The fish tacos were absolutely amazing! The batter was super crispy and the fish was super fresh. The side of rice and beans I got were also decent. There was plenty of seating in their covered outdoor patio area and they bring the food right to your table after ordering it at the window. Service was great and they offered us extra salsa for the chips that we got as part of the taco combo. Been a fan of Taco Nazo for some time now and finally came to this location which is the first/original location. Of course, you get the fish tacos here and then the potato tacos. Unless the recipe has changed at all locations, the potato tacos here were more mushy potatoes and not the crispy potatoes that I recall from other locations (looking at you El Monte). Nevertheless, still tasty and had no issues eating them. The seating here is outdoors with a tarp to help keep the weather out but can be a bit noisy since they are on Valley Blvd. Service was friendly and I will be back when I'm in the mood for fish tacos. Oh my gosh you guys I just had the best tacos from this place hands down. Potato, chicken and asada amazing! Rice and beans to go with it so yummy. The kicker though is the green peppers they grill and put on the side, WOW!!! Some can be spicy and some not so but the taste is overall very good. The tacos shells are obviously hand made. We got there before open so we decided to hang out at the patio, but the staff were kind enough to open a little early and let us order. Most of us ordered the Fish Tacos. One of us also ordered a Carne Asada Taco. The tacos came out quickly. They are served with a red salsa, green salsa, limes, and peppers. The tacos are big and the fish is crispy and fresh. The fish tacos are topped with cabbage and pico de gallo. Everything tasted great. Overall, giving Taco Nazo a 4.5/5 but rounding up to a 5 since the staff were so nice and service was great. It can be a little loud when dining on the patio since it is right on Valley Blvd which is a big street and also close to the freeway.
