Great service. Went really late at night and owner was nice and friendly. Food is amazing! Carne Asada, Carnitas and Tripas are seasoned well. The sopes were yummy! But wished they had Crema on top and bigger slices of avocado. The creamy green (could be avocado?) salsa was really yummy! Red and green were tasty, too. Got a burrito from this place. Have been coming here for a while without major issues like this one. The burrito tasted like it was soaked in perfume. Absolutely disgusting. A coworker offered to bring a few of us lunch today from here so I have not actually set foot in the place but tried the 3 taco special. For $6.50 I got 3 tacos al pastor with beans, rice and a drink. I Thought that was a really good deal! The tacos where delicious. I loved the grilled onions and the red salsa. Have been going to this taqueria for a longtime and it was good for the must part, but last night my wife and I got a burrito de asada and we got food poisoning, they have big freezers that can be seen from the lobby and I noticed that they pulled the carne asada and the worker juts slapped it in the grill, who knows when it was prepared and how long had been in the freezer, the girl who took my order she seemed to be a new employee and she seemed to have a hard time taking the orders which it's understandable, but instead of helping her the rest of the employees kept on being rude to her and making her uncomfortable, also the same thing with a cook, can tell they were both not being treated in a professional manner, was very disappointed and disgusted from what I seen while being there, I can assure that we are not coming back. :( read more

Do not judge a book by its cover!!! It looks a little funky from outside but the food hits home here!! The salsas are hot and flavorful which is the important part for me and the food is delicious and tastes homemade! I love love love the al pastor. This place is bad in every sense. Went here late Friday night to get the 3 taco special with rice, beans, and drink to-go. Never going back again. The 2 lengua tacos were shredded and gushed with water when I bit into it. Not juicy but watery like as if literally soaked in water to defrost or something. The third tripa taco was minced, burnt and unrecognizable as tripas. Ordered an extra al pastor taco and it was minced and dry. That isn't even why I'm giving it 1 star. It gets worse. The rice was slimey at first bite. I took another bite, still slimey, smelled it, and yeah, spoiled. To top it off I tried drenching the tacos in sauce. Red sauce, fine. Guess what though? Green sauce was bubbly and spoiled. I hate this place so much right now. The only thing good was the horchata drink. A hidden gem with the most delicious al pastor tacos and burritos! I love the grilled onions they throw onto the tacos, definitely gives it more flavor. Workers are friendly and gets the food out in a timely manner. It can get a little packed during dinner rush but worth the wait! This place is across the street from Boca Del Rio and while eating my food here, I was wishing I had gone there instead... First, let me complain about the bitch that works here. Since they don't have their hours listed on yelp, I tried calling to find out when they close. So I'm a fan of street tacos, and whenever my taco empty light goes on this is where I come since it's nearby. Would say it's the best around where I live. Staff is actually super friendly, and I always go with the Carne Asada - maybe mix in Al Pastor here and there. I always get it to-go, but I would recommend eating it there while it's fresh since it does get a little soggy. The Al Pastor cooked to perfection and flavor was OH SO good! So much better than "Boca del Rio" The Carnitas was also cooked very well, still moist and not overcooked and dry, also the Red Salsa was very good. The Tostada at $2.99 was probably more filling than all the tacos put together, as there was more meat, lettuce, cheese etc. well done. I think this place is very good but next time if I were to go back JUST FOR Carne Asada I would go to Boca del Rio as the Carne Asada is better and you get more food for the money!
