Great food. Hot means HOT. Generous portions. Just plain delicious. For a town with lots of Mexican food, this place, for me, stands out.

Was going to head to Chipotle but I'm so glad I stumbled upon this place instead. This food is absolutely amazing. Being the lazy person that I am, I decided to go through the drive thru for my first visit, not really expecting much. But this food (and the service that came with it) blew me away. Just the right amount of spice, everything was cooked to perfection, and the portion sizes were bigger than I expected. I ordered one veggie burrito. It was enough food to split into two meals (not that I did that though; I couldn't stop myself from eating just one more bite). Definitely going to be a repeat customer. read more

This place is no simple drive-thru / fast-food spot. It is a hidden gem of authentic and absolutely delicious Mexican cuisine. The combo dishes are filling and once again, just so good! The Carne Asada #1 is my top choice, make sure to try it out! The smothered burrito is the size of a small battleship and ready to fill even the biggest of appetites. They also make awesome fajitas, tacos, flautas, etc. Try it all, its worth it! Don't forget the churros! The cream filled ones are as close to heaven as I think I've ever gotten. Prices are a little up there compared to other "fast" places, but its worth it, and the quality is more sit-down restaurant than anything else. Amazing staff, amazing food! I used to go here regularly until a couple weeks ago when I got horrendous food poisoning from a bean and cheese burrito. I thought the burrito was not especially warm when I got it home. I actually had a bit of question about this in the past but nothing so bad as this. Now I know and won't be back. read more

We've struggled to find any authentic so-cal style Mexican food. This place is it. The homemade tortillas are delicious. They've got the best (and biggest) breakfast burritos around. Pro tip, add fajitas to your breakfast burrito for maximum deliciousness. We are dairy-free and they've never gotten an order wrong, even when all six dishes have been modified in some way. The service is always excellent, and the place is always super clean. So glad to have found this local gem. read more

I went here cuz Chick-fil-A was packed. I'm sure glad I did. I got there carnitas tacos and they were great! and there was so much meat on them I could of fed a family of 4. I highly recommend Taco Palace! read more

It's ok. I was kind of hoping from the pictures it would be similar to Viva Burrito in Denver, and it's close. It's really expensive for what it is. $24 for a chile relleno plate and a cheese enchilada plate, but if it's good, then I'm ok with it. My son's enchiladas were ice cold, not cooked through. My chile rellenos were good, not great but not horrible. Service was fast and friendly. I might try it again the burrito pictures look good, maybe that's the thing to order there. read more

Great spot - steak is awesome and the staff is friendly. It's very similar to Tacos Rapidos but better! We've tried the rolled tacos, carne asada fries, ground beef tacos, chicken tacos and steak burritos. All are great and well prepared. read more

Best Mexican food I've had in Colorado! I moved here 20 years ago from California and have been in search of the fresh, quality Mexican food that I grew up with. This is the only place to get cabeza in town, and a good cabeza taco really hits the spot sometimes. Another pro move if you've got a big appetite: try the alambre burrito. Over 50% meat, with the rest being the stuff it got sauteéd in. Delicious stuff. They're on delivery apps and they have a drive-thru, so ordering is easy even in COVID times. The only reason I'm not giving them 5 stars is that they're a little inconsistent. Every once in a while, my delivery tacos will have the "wrong" meat inside. I suspect this is because they ran out, not because they got the order wrong, but if so, it'd be nice if they called me to check what substitution to use. read more

I went inside today. Absolutely the dirtiest indoor seating area I have seen in a long time. The tile floor was so greasy I could barely stand. The person helping had not washed his uniform in days, it looked like he had a Taco bar fight with a grizzly bear. I can only imagine what the kitchen looks like. Love the Breakfast burritos! They are my favorite but the chimichanga and the Pacifico burrito are good too. The red salsa is delish!

It was delicious. We had the steak and barbacoa and both very good and authentic Mexican flavors.

It was edible but not enjoyable, certainly not worth the cost. I won't be a repeat customer.

This place is a total hit and miss on the food quality. I always get the crispy chicken tacos, however the meat quality had been terrible lately. The past few times that I have come in to eat in the last three weeks, that has been cold and dry. On what seems like a rare occasion they will have the tacos loaded with fresh meat. I asked the girl why the meat has been dry and so cold, and she told me that if I tell them when I order I want the meat warmer she will let them know so that the cook can leave it out longer to warm up. This place was great! It was getting a REAL burrito (not Tex-Mex) with great salsa. My wife had the chile rellenos burrito and man, that looked awesome. And, I really mean this, the guy I talked to at the drive up was the nicest I have ever encountered. Really. It wasn't super duper cheap but it wasn't much more than McDonalds and I could not eat half of the burrito. Total value for the money! Only one simple complaint; the packaging. Hard to eat in a car. Tried them as they're new in town and Meh, I've had better experiences and more authentic food elsewhere in Longmont. I went through the drive through and ordered. The girl working the window wasn't welcoming or friendly (The only person who has contact with your customers!). Took the food home and again..Meh, mediocre at best. First time and last time. This place used to be so good! What happened? I used to go there every day when I worked for Lowe's and get a grilled chicken taco that's it. They were good size & so delicious! Yesterday I went there & ordered my grilled chicken taco, chips with salsa. 1st the chicken was breaded & looked fried, then the chips and salsa, they poured the salsa onto the chips. The chips were soggy & disgusting! When I went back to let the cashier know about my concerns she gave me attitude & told me that's their grilled chicken. So I told her just keep it then & drove away. Why can't your restaurant be consistent? So sad about this! read more

I think one star is being to generous. (I had my Spanish speaking friend order everything for me just so nothing was made wrong.) Because the last two times I went through taco palace they have gotten my order wrong and say it's because their employees don't speak English well. This order had three things and they messed up on all three. They didn't give me a receipt and when I called no one answered. So I called the next day. And I told them that they had messed up on my tacos because they put cilantro and onion when I said not to. Asked for no beans on one of my number 13, then a second number 13 and add extra rice. They gave me one 13 with no rice and two sides of beans. And one regular. When I was finally able to get on the phone with the manager, they did not put me on hold. So I head everything the employe told manger. Including them call me white trash. Even after I said I'd bring back the food I had they said sorry we can't give food out for free. I'd say only go here if you spoke Spanish. But obviously they don't understand Spanish either. So go here if you want your food made wrong and the mangers to be very rude. I would rather go to Taco Bell. At least they get my order right. read more
