Solid Mexican joint right next to the airport! My mom ate here and enjoyed our meal. The tacos and quesadillas were both delicious. I will say I was expecting the meal to be a little bit bigger for the price but it was still decent. The soup that we ordered was pretty bland so that was probably the one thing we wouldn't order again but the inside of the restaurant was nice and they let you get unlimited chips, dips, and toppings for your food which I thought was a very cool concept! If I was looking to get a decent meal pretty quickly I would definitely consider going here! read more

This is the best taco palenque in the whole city. The food is always delicious. The workers are nice. No other location comes even close.

This place did not suck. Although it was a little pricey, we had a great experience with getting food to go. Those beef fajita nachos were ridiculously good. Everyone enjoyed those. The street tacos had those cheap corn tortillas but the different sauces and the grilled onion they gave you on the side made up for it. Made a moving day very successful. read more

Considering how much I enjoy the Taco Palenque near me (#1), it would seem automatic for me to appreciate this one just as much. Like any chain, it has some of the same stuff that I have salute always: good (fast'ish) food, 24 hour access, and in a central area where it's conveniently located. However, they're slow. I'm not sure if they're understaffed but I've been here in the mornings after making runs to the airport for some breakfast tacos and also late at night when the munchies are kicking in hard. A drive-thru doesn't always guarantee quick service, it just means not having to get out of the car. I've waited as long as 30 minutes, which is an eternity in fast food land. Then the other faux-paus of drive-thru life happens too often: missing food. I've had to contact them for miscellaneous items that weren't part of my order, which I never discover until later. Management has been nice enough to make it right, but now I'm in the habit of checking the entire bag before leaving. If I've already waited so long, what's another minute to verify everything is correct? I noted previously, it's not a budget chain. SA prides itself on being a city of deals but $5 matamoros tacos isn't helping the cause. However, I'll never say no to anything of theirs that has that magical sirloin. I love it when they put a dollop of avocado on some platters, and think their palenque bowls are underrated. I had a terrible experience. My chips tasted like old oil. I called the San Pedro location, but I have got answer so then I called the location by Northstar and the manager was not cooperating with me. I asked for her name just so I know who I was talking to she did not want to provide her name to me and said that she was going to hang up on me because I was being complicated so then when I asked for her name again, she refused to give me her Name, but she said that she was the manager for the night shifts It is approximately 6 in the morning, so I was asking to talk to a manager because I wanted to get a return for the chips, but I didn't know how and she did not help me out at all. So I decided to stop in around 6:15a this morning for some to-go breakfast food. I actually enjoy chicken fajita tacos with guacamole and it's one of the few things I haven't tried from TP. I've tried other items and they weren't great but they were good. So I ordered and waited for about 10minutes and being the only car in drive-thru I felt like it took a while to get my food. I finally get my expensive tacos, and drive another 8min to my work. I sit to eat my food and I open up one of the tacos and I'm like this is Cold, and where's the guacamole. I'm staring at chicken that looks like it was reheated, and sliced avocados not guacamole. So I'm now irritated, hungry, and I decide to eat some of the taco. Sure enough I feel like I just bit into dehydrated chicken, Not moist, Not even warm, and that was it. I was done and decided to throw it away. So at this point I think that I've given TP several tries and this experience today left me Not wanting to return, ever. For high priced tacos, I would expect hot, moist, fresh tasting food, this was simply GROSS. I would not recommend this place, or food. read more

We had a Chicken Fajita plate, an Al Pastor plate, and lots from the condiments bar. Chicken fajitas were excellent, and al pastor had tasty cumin, chili powder (like chorizo seasoning) taste. The beans and rice had a homemade taste. Corn and flour tortillas were perfectly textured and heated. Just took a bit of everything from the condiments bar because it's literally ALL GOOD. All salsas are fresh. The person taking our order offered options with the plates, and that's always nice. I've been eating TP for more than 35 yrs. They even catered my wedding reception.
