well I think there's chorizo under all that grease.... it was still dry surprisingly Ordered the chorizo and egg toasted tortilla Wasn't what I expected my first time

It's your classic taqueria. They have many options so take a good look at their menu. I got the charro beans and al pastor mini tacos. The beans were great the tacos alright. Their single tacos look the best. They have some aguas frescas that were good.

This is a food truck tucked away behind a McDonald's near I-10. There is gravel parking right next to the truck, around 3-4 vehicles can fit. I liked my chicharrones quesadilla. The texture difference between the avocados, grilled onions, and the chicharrones were really delicious! I was not that impressed with the tacos ($3.75). The al pastor meat tasted very different from the other taco places I have tried in San Antonio. It didn't really taste like meat, almost like a vegan meat alternative. It tasted similar to seitan or jackfruit trying to mimic meat. There wasn't that much flavor either, which was strange because I could see them grilling the meat next to the taco truck. Service was fast and friendly! We got our food in less than four minutes. There is no indoor seating, only a few outdoor picnic tables with some shading from the large trees above.

We walked in on a Sunday at 10 AM. It was not too crowded. Only two tables were taken, they have adequate seating for about 30 people. It soon filled completely up which I think is a good sign. This is our first time here, the food was OK, not the best we've ever had but good enough to where we will be coming back. The tacos are kind of small, the burrito is a pretty good size (not huge ) and prices are good. The ambiance is the usual as any other Mexican restaurant, and not too loud. The wait staff was very good. Overall, it was good enougwe will be back and we really like the location.

    Chicharrones molcajete! Get some!

A must try!! We needed a scooby snack, so I went in for the chicharrones molcajete. Man, I should've order 2!! They were super dedelicious & tasty. They are fried & perfectly seasoned, we got our to go. This place is up on the Northside. I swear these cooks live in my west side. Anywho, go get some chicharrones! Tell them Razz sent you, they probably won't know who I am but it's worth a try. Go, andale!

Menudo has no pata and smells like, can't say. But I don't recommend

Their menudo is not recommended. After I asked to replace several items for a cheaper item they said they could for an extra fee. After ordering I got the minimum. Two store tortillas for a Molcajete. Two tortillas which I wanted French bread instead of. And no pata with the menudo. Won't ever be here again!

Losoya's was my favorite taco place on this side of town, probably in general but today discouraged me from ever coming back. Enclosed my receipt so you can see where I am coming from here.. Bad experience here today and the way the situation was handled was just horrendous...Cavalier,smug and just outright unapologetically dismissive from the 2 women there today. We been coming here for years and always talk this place up,send people here whenever new clients come into town and are looking for some authentic Mexican food. I never hesitate to fwd the info about this local gem but I will have to pass on relaying that information now unfortunately because I would be embarrassed if they were met with the energy and experience I had today... Today I ordered from their website as I normally do.Occasionally will call it in but since it's loud sometimes we prefer to online order. This is what I ordered and the receipt is below.Due check it out and refer to why I would be so P.O'd.... This is want happened. We sat down once we got the order home, set the table and laid out the contents of our order.NO TORTILLAS? We live about 6miles away and there was no way we were going to start our meal without. Reluctantly I sent my partner BACK to Losoya's and I called ahead to give Losoya's the heads up that he was on the way to pick up the missing tortillas from our order. Sent away from our fully set table,we put the barbacoa in the oven to stay hot as we waited for him to return. At this point I wasn't even upset about anything...YET. Obviously this is a inconvenience but I played it cool and just explained the situation thinking we would just get our missing tortillas and be on with it. A minor inconvenience but what happened instead was that I was met with excessive pushback and a obtuse explanation that made no sense at all...Told basically that I wasn't privy to tortillas with my order because we only ordered the barbacoa and not the family order. Which was not at all accurate on their behalf not according to the website.. I told the 1st woman (the older lady) that we did indeed order from the "family order & parridillas" section and that we chose the 1lb and the 1/2 barbacoa from the drop down menu and in the area to indicate what kind of tortillas we wanted,we then marked and specified our request for what kind of tortillas or combination of tortillas and the reflection of that preference was clearly indicated and displayed right on the receipt... Harina,Maiz and Harina as well for the 1/2 order..... With nothing in response beyond her initial explanation she said "hold on" and placed the second woman on the line.. Same redundant explanation. I re/explained the situation she had started to try and insinuate that I wasn't to be given tortillas without the family order but we did indeed get the family order 1lb and 1/2 lb.Checked the boxes for the tortillas and that I saw no need to order additional tortillas since we already had some that were supposed to come with the order and that EVEN THE SITE ask your preference so naturally we would expect them and that it was something.. I would be happy to pay for them (had we known) it would not be honored as shown as ordered on the receipt. I told her that it was not appropriate to be met with this kind of surprise and that it was extremely disappointing after we had our expectations set and that it's a little unfair to us to have to go back 6miles a second time to have our order competed in total as we would have expected it,had our expectations gauged maybe it would be different. When he got there we were met with a skimpy half order of tortillas not even what was owed to us.Without a word they handed him the bag. No apology. Also mostly all but 2 employees had their mask on one of them the older woman and that was kind of off putting to see their slacking on their former standard of excellence in Covid precautions. Will miss the good food and service from the young man in glasses and their delicious food and solid kitchen staff. We always tipped WAY above average when we ate in person pre pandemic and also left generous tips on all to go orders. Just a sad situation all around because we actually liked this place.

    Machacado Breakfast Plate
    Jennifer D.

Today I felt like having breakfast, which never happens. After checking out the pictures we had to stop in. I'll start by saying it smelled amazing the second you opened the door. It's a small place with a friendly staff. Yes, it filled up quick. I had the chilaquiles and my hubby had the machacado. We of course shared our plates. Both plates were very good and the corn tortillas are homemade. Total plus! We didn't leave hungry. I think we both kinda rolled out in our own way. I'll definitely be going back next time I want breakfast

    Chicharron mocajete
    Jerry T.

Came here for the chicharron and I was not disappointed. I ordered the mocajete which comes in a stone bowl topped with guacamole. It's soft and juicy like the Filipino dish lechon. It will haunt me for a long time. So good! The pork is crispy on the edges fatty and decadent in the middle and the meat is soft and juicy. Slap it on a tortilla and a heaping spoonful of guac *chef's kiss*. Don't have a lot of plans afterwards though. I was pretty stuffed an you can feel the decadence afterwards. A hot coffee or tea can help you process the meat and fat. ^.^' Other than the food the waitress was super nice. The place was packed with staff from a medical office. The bathroom was immaculate. Great experience overall. When I take my kids back I might look for an order of pickles or a small side salad. The extra acidity should again help with all the meat and fat. It's a great savory treat. Definitely not something you could or should eat every day. But oh so good and worth it when you do *drool*

Birthday indulgence yummy food for the tummy.

From the moment I walked in, I could tell this place was special. The atmosphere is beautiful, upscale, and inviting. The architecture and design throughout the restaurant are absolutely stunning. Even the restrooms were impressive and reflected the same attention to detail found throughout the entire establishment. The food was outstanding. Every dish was beautifully presented and packed with flavor. This isn't your typical restaurant experience--the menu is creative, unique, and offers something different. You can tell a lot of thought goes into both the preparation and presentation of every plate. What really made the experience unforgettable, though, was the customer service. My waitress, Kreizon, was absolutely amazing. She was friendly, attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely made me feel welcome throughout my visit. Great service can make a good meal even better, and she definitely elevated the entire experience. The outdoor dining area is also beautiful and creates a relaxing atmosphere that's perfect for enjoying a meal and taking in the surroundings. If you're looking for a restaurant that offers exceptional food, incredible ambiance, unique architecture, and top-notch customer service, Domingo is a must-visit. This is more than just dinner--it's an experience. Highly recommended, and I'll definitely be back the next time I'm in San Antonio.

Electronic dance music pulsed quietly in the background. The toilets were all individual unisex stalls that were classy, mine had run out of hand towels. Also, the entire restaurant is very dimly lit. I had to use the flashlight on my phone to read the menu, but I have poor eyesight so there's that, but it might explain the quality of the photos I took. The Paloma drink was amazing. It had a great spicy zing in the back of the throat after every sip. Queso was... kinda plain. It might have been better with the add chorizo option. It was very thick. Shrimp cocktail was big, but we started fighting over the shrimp pieces. There was plenty of onion and tomato left over after the batttle. Pollo Asado was a great flavor and the chicken was juicy. Grilled squash that was on the side was good. Chicken enchiladas were good and had freshly sliced jalapeños, which is always a welcome detail. I wasn't able to taste the quesadilla but my daoughter said it was "really good". Fried Chicken sandwich had a great flavor and the bacon was actually pork belly if I'm not mistaken. Sadly there was more batter than chicken. The seasoned fries were delicious and crispy.

It was delicious! The concha was soft, buttery and flaky, with just the right sweetness. We took home the majority of it and it stayed nice and soft instead of turning hard like so many others. We decided to try several appetizers to go along with our concha to get a wider taste of their food than we would by just ordering a couple entrees. Let me tell you, this was a great idea! We ordered the Tosti-Ceviche Verde, Panela Asado, Mexican Street Corn, and their Spicy Bean Dip. The Ceviche Verde was excellent, the freshness of the fish and shrimp was wonderful with the chipotle mayo and avocado. We chose to have it on the salsa Verde Tostitos and it was all great combination. The Panelo Asado was a completely new dish for us and was extremely good with a savory flavor from the salsa Tlaquepaque that mixed well with the Panela cheese. Their tortillas though not made in house, are made for them and taste like mom made them. The Mexican Street Corn was great and had the perfect bit of char taste from the corn. It was creamy and flavorful, we did think it could use just a tad more lime juice though. The Spicy Bean Dip was very good. You can't go wrong with Oaxaca, Chorizo, and pieces of pork mixed with some mildly spicy beans. Our server was fantastic. She had great recommendations for us, and was quick with checking on our drinks and generally helping us throughout our dinner. The food was prepared quickly, was hot, tasteful and refreshing. We definitely will be going back, and recommend Pan Fila to all of you.
