I am sick of you guys forgetting my drink or the salsa when I have it delivered. The salsa is like the main reason I order from here, otherwise the food is mid. Very solid tacos at a decent price. They are nicely flavored. Sometimes the meat is dry but taste is always there. All the workers are so nice too! And the vibes of the restaurant are fine, a nice place to have a quick bite to eat or just to take away. I'm a fan! read more

I've been to Taco Pros a few times now, and honestly, it's just... okay. Not bad, not amazing--just okay. I will say their queso is actually really good, and their salsa has a nice kick to it, which I appreciate. But other than that, I've tried their tacos, burritos, and enchiladas, and they're all kind of... meh. Nothing stands out, but it's definitely not bad either. The service here is always amazing, though. Super friendly and quick, which is a big plus. The atmosphere is nice too--clean, bright, and there's a decent amount of seating. They've got multiple locations, so it's pretty convenient if you're looking for a quick bite, especially if you're vegetarian. If there's nothing else around, it's a decent option. It's not the worst, but it's also nothing to get too excited about. read more

I ordered 3 taco dinner combo for take out. The tacos came with rice and beans as default but have the options to make switches with fries and add horchata for additional fee. I also substituted for flour tortillas as personal choice. The meat was good, and rice and beans were enjoyable. I would say they are not the most authentic tacos you will get in this area, a bit more Americanized taste pallet but still enjoyable. Definitely give them a try. read more

They had grand opening two days ago and they are having promotion! Promotion or not- I really liked their tacos. I had steak, barbacoa, and ground beef tacos and nachos. Guacamole was fresh and tasty and meat was not soggy nor dry, not overly seasoned, they were just perfect. I am gonna try enchilada next time:)! read more

Another solid taco/burrito option within about ten minutes' drive for me. I think that I've tried all the meats in various formats: tacos, burritos, and tortas. Burritos are pretty good, but I'd recommend tacos above everything else. Barbacoa and al pastor are the best of the meats. Guacamole and elotes both make a tasty side. Watch out for the green salsa--it's caliente! Rojo is more my speed. Usually it's the other way around. read more

Bad experience all around. I ordered online and my partner went to pick it up at the exact pickup time, he tells the girl behind the counter he's here to pick up an online order and she asks him what he would like to order, he reiterates that we already placed an order and he's here to pick it up. He gives her the name and she says theres no order for that name, he asks her to look again because there's two orders sitting there and sure enough, the name was on the ticket. He double checked the receipt attached to the bag before leaving and it had the correct name and order. We get home with the food and the food was not what we ordered at all, so I called and said we were just there but given the wrong food and the same girl asks what I would like to order. I again have to explain that we already ordered and we were given the wrong food, then she proceeds to say "uhhh" and just hangs up on me. I came back with the food and asked for a refund. The girl completely avoided me so a man that works in the back came up to help and he said he was giving me a refund, had me tap my card then gave me a receipt. The receipt didn't look like a refund to me, it just looked like a reprint of a receipt so I asked him if he was sure it worked and he said yes. I waited a few days to see if the refund would show in my bank account and it never did. I have called the restaurant several times trying to speak to a manager to assist with this and i keep being told he's not there or will be there on a specific day, I have called on those days and he's never there. I'm not sure if I'm being lied to or what, but I would really like my money back. This is extremely bad customer service. read more

This place is a great addition to the area! The food is reasonably priced, and the portions are good. The barbacoa is really flavorful, and the ingredients tasted very fresh. And the service was great - everyone was super friendly. Alex was the one who rang us up and brought our food out, and she was fantastic. She helped us make up our minds and gave some good recommendations (I'm very indecisive). It's always nice when the staff goes that extra step to help out! Nice place. Looks brand new. Clean. Open. Now on to the food. It's an authentic taco place so do not expect tacos with creative combinations like, lets say, Taco Mayo. But authentic tacos are great. Taco Tuesday includes 2 tacos for $5. Pretty good price and they don't get cheap on the meat. Al Pastor taco was delicious. Barbacoa taco (which is said to be the house special) also great. Chicken taco was a little bit lacking seasoning and flavor. In hindsight I should have gotten that one American style (lettuce tomatoes, sour cream). Carne asada taco was better than the chicken but not as good as the first two. Maybe it was law or diminishing returns. Their red sauce is nice, not too spicy. I preferred the green sauce because I liked the tangyness. They give you tortilla chips and salsa with your order. The salsa was watery and made it difficult to get on the chip. Would be better if it was chunkier. Great place for the value. I can see myself coming back here if I want a taco on Tuesday to take advantage of the price and only getting al Pastor and barbacoa. Maybe trying their burrito when it's not taco Tuesday if I am in the area. read more

Taco Pros, I can't THANK YOU, enough. You saved the day yesterday. You were able to prepare 200 tacos for my guest within 1 hour. After being disrespected and ignored by a taco cart Arnold's Tacos out of Humboldt park. He totally blew me off after one month of reserving and confirming the date and time with him he never showed up at my house and left me in despair to feed 50 guest. Taco Pros was the first restuarant I called and they were so kind and able to help me in this horrible situation I was in. Their food was absolutely delicious. Tried this new (to us) place today and glad we did. The woman at the counter was warm and gracious and thoroughly explained our options as we had never been there. I had the 3 steak asada Taco Combo with beans only and Paul had the barbacoa burrito. The meats were tender and juicy, overall everything was delicious! It was about $35 including drinks (That's about what it would cost at Taco Bell and this was so much better!). What a gem. The tacos are delicious and a very generous size. The staff is wonderful. As I was giving my order, the cashier realized that she could provide a better deal by applying one of their specials and adding on a taco. She saved me money. Aside from their Taco Tuesday specials, there are several others most days. Also, a little tip. If you buy almost anything at the Jewel next door, the receipt will most likely have the "buy one get one free coupon" on the back. Lastly, when you pay for your order and you see that little tip screen pop up, instantly the cashier hits a button and it goes away. I appreciate that when getting take out. Food is yummy but not above chipotle. The elote could use more flavor and spice!!!! Add valentina to that and yum!! As for ambiance... there was no music so it was awkward that it was dead silence.
