I go here when I want fast,good food! Luckily it is not TexMex everything cooked and covered in jalapeño or some other obnoxious pepper. Crunchy or soft the tacos hit the spot. The Monterey is one of my favorites especially the supreme option. Great place to take a bunch-o hungry kids! read more

Taco shop! Oh how I love thee. I had to stop by this little restaurant to get my fix. I love their sancho supreme's or even their taco burger. Super yum! The sancho supreme has seasoned beef, cheese and lettuce smothered in Taco Shops salsa and melted shredded cheese. Put the sour cream on top and you have perfection! So good. The taco burger is yum as well and it's just what it sounds like: taco fixin's on a burger. The only complaint I had was the man at the front desk taking orders was kinda rude. Not a smile to go across his face while taking our order. I had my thoughts about it, but my dad reaffirmed once we sat down. "Someone is having a bad day..!" I agreed. Basic fast food tacos. It's cheap, a little greasy, and they run daily specials like: All You Can Eat Tacos on Mondays (after a certain time) or cheap taco specials on Thursday. Not on Tuesdays though, No No. Tuesday is "Enchilada Tuesday". WHAT THE... WHAT IS ENCHILADA TUESDAY?! That doesn't rhyme or flow, that doesn't even sound right! Why they gotta throw a wrench into this perfectly good, commonly accepted, traditional day of taco "happy hour"? WHY?!? Anyway, Taco Shop is a local favorite and a cure for hangovers. Usual taco shop quality has been going down as of late. Over the lat month it's gone from somewhat okay to pretty crummy. I don't expect much from Taco Shop but man if there's a distinct craving for dank cheap tacos, it's usually here. However, last night takes the cake. Figured we'd split the twelve pack of tacos, get some beans, chips, and round it off with a quesadilla. Tacos are alright, less flavor than usual, except about half of them are already soggy by the time we get around the corner, one looked like an employee was having a bad day so they blew it up, shell particulates mixed in a meat wrapper. Then the quesadilla had almost as much cheese on the outside as in the inside. I really don't expect much from Taco Shop, but that night crew is atrocious. Also, first time ever, gave me such bad acid reflux I woke up during the night and I'm still feeling the effects as I write this the next day. If you really want Taco Shop, go to a different location. Something's wrong here. read more

I ordered a number one. Pulled to the window and paid with my debit card and received the receipt. they ended up overcharging me by double. And the little gremlin with the beard that wanted to butt in through the window interaction wanted to argue with me that I didn't pay. Told them then to pass on the extra because my burrito, two tacos, and drink value meal shouldn't have been $8.25. But, the bearded gremlin had to be right. The kids they have work in there are lazy and I would have to say stupid I say my same order the same way every time they keep screwing it up every time if I physically go in there and see this tall gentleman I think he's the manager he gets it right but if you go through the drive through they're going to screw it up if you try and do any kind of changes out of eight meals they've gotten two right and that's because I came in there I do not recommend this place I wasted $80 on gift cards there's a lot of great taco places out there there's road runners taco and a lot of others that have never screwed up my meal that I'll be going to read more

So disappointed. The last time I got the nachos they were great and actually had nacho cheese sauce instead of the barely there baked on strings of cheese I got this time. Someone also labeled a huge spoonful of beans on, probably hoping to disguise the lack of any beef whatsoever. It was ok, nothing great. It was nothing amazingly special. Its a taco shop that takes canned ingredients and puts it together. I had the supreme nachos without the meat, my husband had a super burrito and super taco. He said he thinks they were made with ground up Super Man meat. Of course if it had ground up Super Man meat in it I think it would have a little green glow from the Kryptonite in it. Any-whooen-anners, it was cheap and not horrible, so would we go back? I think in a pinch we would, not a first choice yet definitely not the worst!! read more

I grew up on my neighborhood Taco Shop. Pedaling my purple Huffy down West street, bag of fresh Super Tacos in hand. Those were the days, you know? Now that I'm older, I see Taco Shop as the best-bang-for-your-buck Mexican fast food joint around. It's not as authentic as the 24-hour joints, but those tacos.. man. The flour tacos have this awesomely crispy shell that disintegrates upon contact with your mouth like some sort of giant taco-release tablet. Another plus: the ingredients don't taste like they came from a school cafeteria or a caulking gun. The menu's not big on variety, but you just can't beat the price and taste. I like taco shop tacos, except the 21st location. Their customer service is so bad I was about to ask for the manager but I didn't think they would care at all. I asked for salsa on my to-go order and I didn't get it . When I asked about their burritos I was told that they have different burritos.. no other explanation. I enjoy the tacos but I don't want to come back to order anything based off of how I was treated today. read more

I was looking forward to ordering taco shop for our family dinner tonight. My daughter went to pick up the food and the staff refused to serve her over $20 worth of food. They were extremely rude to her and told her to contact her parents via the taco shop phone... when we talked to the taco shop employee. I was told to be more respectful and he raised his voice at me...he did not finish talking to me, he hung up the phone and sent my daughter home with half an order of food... I have eaten taco shop for years... I will never eat here again. I encourage you to go elsewhere... the people who are working here chose to engage in an argument with a young lady who was trying to order dinner for her family... this is a fast food restaurant... if you are not prepared to handle orders, close your doors taco shop!!! read more

PLEASE GO TO 13th AND WEST! Went through the drive thru and had a terrible experience. The two girls were rude, slow and obviously had no customer service history. One girl opened the window, took the debit and never gave it back. Wasn't given napkins. Wasn't asked if we wanted sauce. Took the girl five minutes before we were handed drinks. After sitting in front of the window for 15 minutes we still hadn't gotten our debit back. Was given a food and still hadn't got the card but girl #1 slammed the window before we could even say a word. Honked the horn and sat there before girl #2 came to the window. She opened the window, clearly annoyed with us, and asked us what. We asked for our card back. She grabbed off their counter and all but threw it at us before slamming the door back into our faces. Take more it worse- our food was made terribly/sloppy. I've been to the one on West many times- please go to them. They're nice, they ask all the questions, and the food is good. Went at 830 at night they close at 11. There was two people working a male and a female. The female was outside smoking and the male was cleaning the inside . He came out and said they were closed. I drove out of the drive through and back around . Asked the lady why they were closed and she said that there was only two of them working and thats why they were closed. There was zero customers there and i said we were only going to order 4 tacos and if they were closed why were all the lights on and why wouldnt they just close down and leave. She proceeded to get mad and argue with me while she was puffing her cigarette and said "you were really only going to order 4 tacos" i said yes. She said "you realize people come through here and order 10 burritos on one order and theres only 2 of us" i said there is literally no customers here and its 830 and you turned us away and said you were closed. She said "i have permission from my manager to be closed" so basically she was getting paid to sit outside and smoke cigarettes. Worst experience i have had anywhere in my entire life! read more

Beats the heck out of Taco Bell but that's not saying much. I like their flour tortilla tacos. Everything else is rather bland. Service is often lacking as the employees always seem more concerned with their conversations than waiting on customers. I am picky about how beans are cooked and they are great! I usually get tacos, taco burger and a bean burrito. Incredibly cheap, it's almost impossible to spend more than $10 in this place. If you do, you have enough food for two meals. Love the sanchos and the taco burger. Also, I love to make a stop in every once in awhile for the all you can eat tacos on Mondays. Love that you are give the option of the regular tacos or the flour tacos. I visited on June 8th, 2015, Mondays are the best day to go, they have all you can eat hard and soft tacos from 4pm-9pm. I've only visited this place twice, and each time the food was ok, decent prices and quality is ok. They have two versions of salsa "Hot" and "Regular". the Regular salsa tastes like they add sugar to it. The Hot salsa wasn't very spicy. read more
