But in the last few weeks we have gone passed it they aren't open and there is a sign on the door saying they are closed for seep cleaning. I never owned a restaurant and neither do I know how long a deep cleaning could take. I suppose it varies depending on what is being cleaned. But as of 5/9/26 the restaurant remains closed. The last social media post from Facebook was January of '26. The website associated with this profile on Yelp doesn't seem to be working and neither does the website associated when you Google them which is very concerning. Hopefully they will be open again soon and none of this is subtleties amounting to a permanent closure.

I asked the server who told me later that he was the cousin of the owner and el Salvadoran, what he would recommend. I ended up getting Combo 2 which is two tacos and a pupusa (which I've never had). Both I got pork and pupusa he said to get pork and cheese. I liked it ALL. Although the puousa is made of corn and tasty, I prob wouldnt order it again. I really, really liked the two tacos. The seasoning and taste was delicious!!! I am craving it right now as I am writing this review. They gave me condiments - 3 different hot sauces which I liked the avocado one which was a great creamy sauce. And there 3 pieces of lime and cut radishes. Plus, there were pickled onions which was tasty! I asked a lot of questions because I wanted to eat them all the way he would so The server told me to put the pickled onions on the pupusa. Oh, that made a huge difference. So delicious!!! Next time, I am just going to get 4 tacos - yep 4! lol and may try a burrito just to see how that is. I ended up getting a Jarrisco with Tamarind flavor. Oh it was a sweet and perfect complimentary drink. I will def be back! Really enjoyed it.

What really sold me was the Cheesy Birria Tacos that I spotted while checking out the menu and so I knew pretty much exactly what I was going to order upon arrival. And that was indeed what I got and they were excellent! The beef that was the specific meat in the taco (Birria can also be goat or lamb) and was absolutely wonderful. The cheese and the crunchy tacos rounded out this small lunch quite nicely and was very satisfying. There was a red sauce in a cup that came with my three tacos in which I dipped the tacos into it which added to the pleasant spicy heat. Loved how sweet and patient the ladies were taking our order. You order your food first, and then they will bring it out for you. Little salsa bar, Coke drinks, huge flavorful portions will make you happy that you visited. The mixed cocktails are great as is the food which I have always been partial to. Out of the recent visits I had an amazing torta, something I haven't had in a long time and a bowl with their tequila chicken for the meat which was also excellent. The more I come here the more I like it having it come at five stars at this point and time.

But I realize costs are going up for everyone and these folks planned, purchased, and cooked the ingredients for my tasty meals, plus they need to make some profit doing it. So, I'll pay it. Since I'm not a fan of alcohol, I chose a mocktail called "XXX," while others enjoyed the Wildside Punch Cocktail and other drinks. I recently had an unforgettable dining experience at Taco Street, located within the Point Ruston Public Market. The combination of exceptional food and service made it a perfect date night spot. I want to share my positive experience at a restaurant with you. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful to me. I ordered 3 Carne Asada tacos, which were delicious. The meat was tender and the pico de gallo was fresh. The restaurant's location is convenient, with ample parking available. What really sold me was the Cheesy Birria Tacos that I spotted while checking out the menu and so I knew pretty much exactly what I was going to order upon arrival. And that was indeed what I got and they were excellent! The beef that was the specific meat in the taco (Birria can also be goat or lamb) and was absolutely wonderful. The cheese and the crunchy tacos rounded out this small lunch quite nicely and was very satisfying. There was a red sauce in a cup that came with my three tacos in which I dipped the tacos into it which added to the pleasant spicy heat. These tacos I highly recommend and they also have other menu options that look quite promising as well. I can't wait to go back!

I never owned a restaurant and neither do I know how long a deep cleaning could take. I suppose it varies depending on what is being cleaned. But as of 5/9/26 the restaurant remains closed. The last social media post from Facebook was January of '26. The website associated with this profile on Yelp doesn't seem to be working and neither does the website associated when you Google them which is very concerning. Hopefully they will be open again soon and none of this is subtleties amounting to a permanent closure.

The seasoning and taste was delicious!!! I am craving it right now as I am writing this review. They gave me condiments - 3 different hot sauces which I liked the avocado one which was a great creamy sauce. And there 3 pieces of lime and cut radishes. Plus, there were pickled onions which was tasty! I asked a lot of questions because I wanted to eat them all the way he would so The server told me to put the pickled onions on the pupusa. Oh, that made a huge difference. So delicious!!! Next time, I am just going to get 4 tacos - yep 4! lol and may try a burrito just to see how that is. I ended up getting a Jarrisco with Tamarind flavor. Oh it was a sweet and perfect complimentary drink. I will def be back! Really enjoyed it.

I ordered two of their carnitas tacos which each came out to about $2 each, and two of their asada tacos came out $3.25 (unfortunately not part of Taco Tuesday). Honestly though? These tacos were SO GOOD that I would just pay the original price to support them. The meat was cooked to perfection, tender meat, with a bit of a nice crisp for the carnitas. The garnishing was just right, with dice red onions and cilantro laying over the tacos, and a side of lime, pepper, and radish. Now the tortillas? They have mastered the texture. For me, if the taco's tortilla isn't good it ruins the whole taco. But Xantolo knows how to get things done right. With a nice crisp to the bottom of the taco while still remaining soft to bite into, it was a whole masterpiece! I might be over-glazing this taco truck, but I'm serious about how good this is.
