Dedos de pollo (seasonal menu item)

This spot never lets me down. It's become my old stand by over the years. The interior is a large counter service bar with outdoor season and a big garage style door that opens when the weather is nice. The food is sort of Tex mex and is reasonably priced. Drinks are a bit on the pricey end but they have an extensive tap list which includes a lot of local ciders. The thing I recommend here is actually the sauces, because I haven't ordered anything I haven't liked. The habenero carrot salsa, avocado crema, and tapatio ailoi are all amazing sauces and I would come here just to buy those even if I didn't like the food (which I do) This is a great hang out spot and is also good for solo dinners. It's not upscale so not really a date night venue but it is a good spot if you wanted a quick bite and a drink before heading out for the night, or a great spot to hang out with friends. In over five years of coming here I've never not seen it so full that you can't find a seat.

Amazing fresh Mexican food. Casual dining with various taps and drinks. Very cute decoration. Attentive and kind servers. Very good vibes for date nights and friends eat out. Pricing is great! Loved everything about this place. Will go back regularly!

Brewers Row is one of my favorite eateries in Tacoma! They're convenient located a few blocks away from Proctor on a quiet street. The food is incredible with options for everyone. I love the breakfast burritos and the fact that they're served all day! My go to is the papas dulce & kale burrito with the avocado crème. The sauces are to die for. I also love the tortilla salad bowels and you can't go wrong with the home made churros. Not only is the food great, but they also have an amazing coffee and beer selection. Great ambiance with indoor/outdoor seating and friendly staff. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone.

Recommended by a friend specifically for their breakfast burritos, I finally gave it a try. The place is cute and funky, the staff friendly, and the al pastor burrito was on point. A highlight for me was theirs salsas ( up to three included). Delish!

It was pretty good My hubby and I went for breakfast burritos before shopping at the Proctor farmers market. I was super excited to try the chile verde breakfast burrito, but I honestly think they forgot the verde. It was eggs and chorizo, but the chorizo was SO greasy that I had a pool of grease on my small plate that spilled over onto the table. The flavor was okay. I used all of our napkins for the grease. I really wanted the chile verde and next time will see if I can get eggs with the Chile verde salsa. I don't recommend the chorizo. Not only was it greasy, but pretty flavorless. My husband got the breakfast burrito with bacon and he really enjoyed it. We want to try Brewers Row for happy hour. Excited to try the guacamole

DAMMMNNNN! Went expecting a bar-ish place, but that not the vibe. And I was NOT disappointed. Tacos are AMAZING. Al pastor, chorizo, & carne asada. Deliciousness! BEST with the roasted habeñero salsa. No really. It's not blazing hot, but is more citrusy-tastiness. Bring a growler and get it filled!

Walked in around brunch time on a Sunday. It was packed. Mexican themed which is fine by me. Big shared picnic style tables worked for our six top. You walk up to order and they are very helpful. Delivery is to the table. They were out of the tamale dish i wanted, but there were plenty of other breakfast options. Not a loser in the bunch. Good coffee, beer, and drink choices. When in the area I'd like to check out their happy hour.

Ive been here several times and the food and service is always top notch. It can be a bit noisy in there when busy but its not terrible. It can also be really quiet some nights. I do moss the covid nights where it was quieter but now that it's beautiful and summer everyone is out. Love the outdoor seating and the open window barstools you can sot at. Love the del fuego nachos. So good!

Was curious and interested but left disappointed Got the al pastor torta and fish tacos then drove to a nearby park to enjoy with the wife and dog. The torta left a lot to be desired since it was so small and lacked enough meat. It's not authentic as it's on a ciabatta roll ¿¿¿??? The tacos tasted good but were way too soggy so the beige apart right away. The salsa was good

Row, row, row your boat gently down to this joint. Usually no wait and you eggy-n'-cheese addicts out there can grab a HIGH quality breaky 'RITO. Underrated quality is they play good music. On nice days you can sit outside. Great place to hold a vibe w the homies or roll solo dolo. Tried both vibes and the burrito tasted great both times. Take into consideration that I'm writing this right before the NFL Super Wild Card Weekend. Just so much good football to look forward to. And to kick it off with a burrito from this place. Sheesh. I'm in the clouds fellas. I'm in the clouds. Check this place out!!

Roasted califlower tacos with cold beans and rice

Wanted to go to the market recently which means going out to bunch/lunch and making a little trip of it. I sent my parental unit the menus of several local restaurants and this one seemed to the be favourite. We got to the market little later than preferred, 9ish and decided to get breakfast first. Walked in and was kinda really surprised how few people there were. At this point we're at about 9:30 on a Saturday and there are only 2 tables taken? Interesting. Very nice tap selection with all the options, you're basically guaranteed to find something that'll make you happy! I went with the roasted cauliflower taco special (with added rice & beans), which sounded amazing!! My dad went with some sort of bacon burrito. My plate? Rice and beans were cold!!! The tacos were hot and definitely freshly roasted, but were kinda really hard to eat due to the size of the cauliflower. The cold sides though really chapped me and just made the whole meal MEH. When I asked my dad how his burrito made him feel he shrugged...which is something I very rarely see him do and it definite code for "this is cold and I hate this." He didn't finish it. While waiting for our food I looked up the place next door, which is I think is owned by the same people? Either way, I walked by the window and they were VERY busy. Seems like everyone else already got the message that Brewers Row is not good and to not come. Lesson learned! I definitely won't be back.

My friend asked for a frozen margarita but the waiter in a very rude way said we don't do that here. Whatever. Very rude and upset my friend. We did have plans after this so we were excited to get our food ordered but this waiter decided to ignore us for a good 20 mins before FINALLY taking our order (place was not very busy) and before he did he'd periodically walk by and glare at us. Ridiculous. When we got the food I took a bite of the hatch chilli rellono (I'm bad at spelling) which was NOT advertised as being spicy. But I myself like spicy things so it wouldn't have been an issue except when I took a bite of one of the two and it BURNED. This dish was not supposed to be spicy at all. It was bad and I had to spit it out. Very spicy as in bad. My stomach hurt a lot from the extreme ness. Meanwhile my friend was confused. She ate the whole one she had been eating then went on to finish mine thinking I was crazy for my reaction. She took a bite and was surprised very much by the spiciness!!!! Her stomach hurt a lot too. So for some reason there was a hot spot. Sabatoge? I'm not against it as when the waiter came back and we told him the story he didn't look shocked at all and even hid a laugh. HORRIBLE. But the non spicy one was good said my friend. I'll never know. Come here at your own risk. Not to mention how hot it was when they had a perfectly fine working ac. The food left us sick for hours. 3/10 ( I gave three since the non sabatoged one was good)

It was an excellent return (to the space) and what a great meal we had here. It was such a pleasant and enjoyable dining experience that I am going to drop a five star score. Colibrí is Hummingbird in Spanish and we figured that out fairly quickly in addition to the signage and saw this particular bird. It's also one of our favorite birds that come around our house. We were pondering if we wanted appetizers but we held off and went straight to drinks and a meal when it came to ordering. I got the absolutely fantastic Enchiladas Colibrí with ground beef. This was a trio enchilada plate in which each enchilada is in different sauces. One has a green sauce, another a red sauce and another was in a molé sauce. All three enchiladas were absolutely delicious as well as all three of the sauces. Ingredients tasted fresh and the flavors had a great "personality " to them. It was a great choice to get. My plate also came with rice and beans. When it was put before me I was wondering if I was going to be able to eat it all but I did and was feeling just right. For dessert we had a great tasting flan. Whenever we are in a Mexican restaurant and a flan opportunity arises Steve often time seizes the opportunity to get an order. It too was quite good and a great finish to the meal. I also got their Cucumber Margarita which was very refreshing and the Cucumber essence was a great fit to the rest of the meal. The Tajín rim was a wonderful touch to the drink. Very, very good meal and nice, friendly service gives Colibrí a five star score with ease.

We ordered queso fries as our appetizer. It was my favorite thing we ate there. Fries were warm, crunchy, and soft in the inside. The sauce and meat tasted great too. We also ordered corn dogs off the happy hour menu - the cornbread around the dog itself was thinner than I'm used to in a normal corn dog, which I liked! It was a good bread to meat ratio and the sauce was excellent. For our main, we got the bang bang burrito and the birria tacos. The burrito was delicious. Super flavorful and the side salad was good too. Loved the dressing. The birria tacos were not the best I've ever had. The tacos themselves were good, and the side of beans was solid.
