    Smashburger

It's really hard for me to say this isn't the best burger I've had in Chicago. I like it better than Au Cheval. I like it better than Salt Burger. Better than Kuma Corner. It's hard to say if it's better than The Loyalist. It's probably on the same level as the Loyalist, but the Loyalist's burger and fries is $40. The smash-burger with fries at Taco Sublime is $16 and will give you a similar food experience but in a fun brewery atmosphere. Either way, if you love burgers than this is one to definitely try.

Marz is back with another delicious food theme for the brewery. Taco Sublime features some hearty, comfort food that does not disappoint. The steak quesadillas were a hefty portion and the cheese crust on the Sublime fries put me in a food coma lol. They've got a large selection of THC and CBD sodas and they are TASTY. Marz has lots of social nights each week like karaoke and bingo so stop on in and order at the bar!

Instagram food blogger foodswithfoxcito is solely responsible for me coming here. Taco didn't disappoint. It was in the larger side & chock full of chicken. I only opted for a single taco because these days you can't take anyone's word for it but I'm happy. It's basically around the corner from my favorite pizza establishment Phil's. Orange sauce was spicy but far from unbareable. I think two tacos would be sufficient for any appetite. The corn tortilla with the chihuahua cheese crust is worth the price of admission alone. Lastly it's located inside Marx brewery

I came to Marz brewery specifically wanting to try this highly rated smash burger. You order at the bar and they bring it out to your table. I got the classic smash with pickles. This burger was large and the sesame seed bun was perfect. The patties were definitely crisped up on edges. But unfortunately, like some others mentioned, I thought the patties were a bit dry and too salty. It really could have used a special sauce. Not sure if this is how it's always cooked or if I just got an overcooked and over salted smash burger. It was a bit of a disappointment. I'm willing to try their tacos, but I'll pass on the burger next time.

The place is located in a very sketchy area. Setting is very interesting. There's no waiter only two bar tenders. They were nice enough. The food is very expensive for the quality of the area and the quality of the food. Food didn't have good flavor its like bar food. I went home with stomach ache.

Amazing burgers. Amazing quesadillas. Can't recommend this place enough! It's inside Marz, a great brewery with delicious IPAs.

Hard to describe but you just know you're at a very important place but that doesn't take itself too seriously. There are burgers that are good, burgers that are great, and then there's Au Cheval. I went in with pretty ridiculous expectations considering this place has been called one of the best burger spots in the world...and somehow, the burger still delivered. That's rare. The patties were insanely juicy and perfectly cooked, with that beautiful crispy, caramelized edge you want from a great griddle burger. The combination of the melted cheese, creamy sauce, onions, pickles and that ridiculously buttery brioche bun was borderline unfair. Rich, messy, salty, savory and completely indulgent in the best possible way. And that bun deserves its own mention. Soft enough to absorb all that glorious burger juice without completely falling apart. The whole thing is constructed like someone actually understands what makes a burger great. Is it the best burger I've ever had? I DONT FUCKING KNOW. but I completely understand why people put Au Cheval in the conversation for best burger in America, if not the world. The hype is real. This is a fucking burger. 9.7/10

There is outdoor seating under a pergola lined with semi-private planters, while the inside features a bar, high tops, low tops, and large booths. The music was upbeat, giving the space an elevated lounge vibe that pairs really well with the upholstered booths and vintage industrial design. I ordered the Wolf Burger, which is a whopping three-patty burger. That first bite was juicy and pure bliss--a total explosion of great flavors. It was a little messy (like all burgers with an egg), but the extra liquid was perfect for balancing the density of such a meaty burger. The soft bun soaked in a lot of those juices with each bite, intensifying the flavor as I ate more. The fries were thin and on the greasier side--not my personal favorite, but they worked alright as a vehicle for the sauce. Speaking of which, the chili aioli served with the fries was fantastic. We also got the mac and cheese, which hit a great balance between rich and creamy without feeling excessively wet. The boat it came in was a bit small, making it a little messy to scoop out with the serving spoon, but it was soooo good. Overall, it is absolutely a fantastic neighborhood place for comfort food and drinks with friends in a great space!
