My extra (I requested it) crisp meat burrito :) :) :)
Owen K.

Holiday Greetings to all the Yelpers! While growing up in Hawaii during the late '70s, I thought "Taco Time" was authentic Mexican food. My idea of gourmet was a crisp meat burrito, tater tots, and that magical sauce packet. Then I moved to California and tried ordering a "crisp meat burrito" at a real Mexican restaurant. They just stared at me and said, "You mean a chimichanga?" That's the day my entire understanding of Mexican food fell apart. But here I am decades later, back at Taco Time, ordering my crisp meat burrito extra crispy -- because nostalgia is delicious. And if you've never had one, do yourself a favor and try it. It might ruin your idea of Mexican food too.

Not sure what the brown soggy marks are.

Terrible. I wouldn't feed it to my dog. Was excited I found one here, being from the PNW. They were out of some hot sauces, bummer. But the worst part was the taco burger that was thrown together. Came in, and I said "hello, is anyone here?" And she said I'll be right with you. Apparently she was mopping and the only one there. Okay, no problem. Waited for a few more minutes & was wondering why she wouldn't take the sale. She Continued to mop, told another person to walk around and after put the mop back. I didn't see her wash her hands. That should've been my first red flag. I mentioned I was excited and drove quite a distance out of the way after work. I get her shift was almost over & she wanted to leave. A cop came in while my order was in the works. I called to let her know I was going to speak to the manager about the quality of the product. She said we're out of a lot of things. I said ok, meat is bland, there's no sauce. I guess you have to request that & then she hung up on me. I called back & Burger King answered. She said she didn't know her name. Of course not. There are only 4 of you working together at the moment. Mind you, they wrapped the burgers in Burger King wrappers. Hmmmm. 2 employees eating in the dining room btw. I'd like my money back. I saved my product. I won't be back. I will be calling in the morning for a helpful manager that values Product they're serving & customer service.

I live 50 minutes away from this location. However I was in the area because my friend had me and my family over to visit. I havent ate here in awhile and wanted my daughters to try something new. We literally got in right at 8pm and no one was there. They had hours of operation sign next to the register which showed they should still be open for another hour. I went next door to the Burger King to ask if they were closed. The lady with the braces said yes they are closed. I was like must be nice to close a hour early. Wish I could leave a hour early from my job.

Back for some crispy burritos!

The food here it good! It's like Del Taco but more expensive. I got a crisp meat burrito ($5.39) and my husband got a crisp bean burrito ($4.79). These are thin fried burritos, like a chimichanga and a flauta had a baby. They are tasty but the price seems a bit high for what you get. We like to stop here when we visit Vegas. The problem is the service; people feel like they don't want to be here. They are always running a skeleton crew, which isn't too surprising. We asked for the 2 crisp burritos and didn't realize we were charged for a soft bean and cheese burrito. Husband went to let them know and the manager or lady in charge was telling the other employee as if my husband had changed his mind after we got our food. This wasn't the customer's fault, it was just a mistake at the register. Next time maybe don't blame the customer but just fix the mistake. Solid 3 stars because the food is good. Service needs improvement though. Oh, and the green salsa is delicious!

Terrible customer "service". I told the lady that I wanted sour cream on ALL my things, which was one burrito and two tacos. I didn't receive it on the two tacos and so I go back to the counter to tell her and she gives me attitude like "you didn't order it". I told her to put some in a cup and she proceeded to go back to cooking and then took care of another customer and then went to the back to cook again. I'm standing there literally right in front of her the whole time and finally I said "take your time but hurry up". We'll needless to say they refused to give me sour cream so whether I ordered it or not is irrelevant at this point. Just do the right thing for your customer and give me the damn sour cream. It's called doing the right thing it's called customer service but they haven't figured out any of that they just wanted to be lower class. Well enjoy your one star Yelp review. I just put both tacos on the counter and left. No wonder there is only ONE location in all of Vegas. Do better!

Yes, it's in a really crummy truck stop, but the food was great! Taco Time in Oregon was my first job as a kid in the 80s and it's been that long since I've had it ....but man it brought back great memories! The man working the counter also works the Burger King counter, and was so nice! We drive to Vegas twice a year and this is going to be a regular stop

I grew up eating at Taco Time in Seattle and they were very popular when I was a kid. Wish they pop up in LA but I guess this will do and will be my Go To on my way back home. Still taste the same but price went up! The girl that rang me up was super nice and friendly!

Kind of on the expensive side for a burrito nothing out of this world was located at the TA truck stop sorry for short review was a grab and go meal

Mood- dinner It is in a travel plaza, so when you walk in, you have options of where to eat. The customer service was wonderful. The guy that took the order was the cashier, the cook, and the presenter. I honestly felt bad for him. For me this is Seattle food. When I saw that cactus logo, I knew it was def a must try. So that being said Yes opted for the crispy beef burrito and tots. Of course it reminded me of home. No other place I've been to has been able to duplicate that rolled deep fried burrito. Interior is tables with chairs in a community area serving the other eateries. Everything while we were there was clean. Would recommend- to say you've had this at least once. Pricing is typical for Vegas. Location is Blue Diamond/ Valley View-- ample parking

Small broken shell hard tacos for $3.25. What a rip off.

What can I say? It's the closest Taco Time to Dallas so we stop when we're in Vegas. There is nothing like a Crisp Meat Burrito and Tots!

The staff and service were personable, friendly, and very accommodating. I ordered the dinner special, which included a shredded beef taco and a comforting bowl of albóndigas soup. We also shared the guacamole, which was delicious and featured a unique, seasonal flavor twist. To finish, we split a slice of tres leches cake, and it was easily one of the best I've ever had. I'll absolutely be returning to Hola to try more of their menu, especially since it's so conveniently close to home.

I really like the interior decor which is like a very contemporary and upscale Mexican. They have a variety of table and booth seating and a large bar. Our server, Hunter, was very friendly and attentive. He always ended every interaction with "have fun!" I tried the "el corazon" sangria which was delicious! It had a wonderful, warm flavor with a light hint of cinnamon yet it was still cold and refreshing! A cool tip - each drink comes with a little card with a symbol on it and the drink ingredients. Save this card! At each table is a game board of sorts that offers various prizes as you match the cards on the game board sort of like bingo. We really enjoyed the complimentary chips and salsa, and we tried the traditional guacamole with vegetables as well. The guacamole was wonderfully cool and creamy and flavorful. For my entree, I tried the chicken fajitas which is served on a steaming platter with various accompaniments. This was also very delicious, and the chicken was quite flavorful and juicy. A small side note - it was served with a cous cous of sort, but I think I would've preferred a simple Spanish rice. The chicken portion size also seemed a bit smaller than when we get fajitas at Chili's. I would recommend you get double meat if you want to share. We decided to try the chocolate flan and the fried ice cream sundae for dessert. I preferred the flavor of the flan and the unique textures of the flan which had the jiggly caramel flan part on top of a more cake like chocolate part below. I honestly think the fried ice cream was not too good. It did not taste freshly fried, and the coating was very dry and brittle and hard to eat. I prefer the places that serve the fried ice cream warm with a very bubbly crust that is both crunchy outside and a bit soft inside. This was not that. Overall, though, we really enjoyed the dining experience here! We will probably return and try their weekday "Fajitas and Ritas" special! I recommend Hola!

This place is not worth your money. You can get better quality food and larger portions for one-third of the price at Don Tortaco. Yes, this place is THAT bad. We ordered the carne asada nachos, a chorizo breakfast burrito, a bean and cheese burrito, and two strawberry churros. The breakfast burrito honestly wasn't bad. However, it was $20, and I still felt like I needed another burrito afterward. The carne asada nachos looked were made with a mix of ground beef and carne asada instead of just carne asada. The most disappointing item was the $15 bean and cheese burrito. I included a photo in this review because it was mostly tortilla, and the cheese wasn't even melted. As for the churros, we originally ordered regular churros, but they told us they didn't have plain churros available on a Friday night, so we were pushed into getting the strawberry ones instead. Despite being strawberry flavored, they were drenched in cinnamon and sugar. They were awful.

This is a place that you need to make reservations and come nicely dressed. No flip flops, no shorts for men, no baseball caps. They have a VIP Lounge for their Members, including a Hidden Menu for them. Ambiance is very romantic, low lights, music, performers staring at 8pm every night. Perfect for a romantic date, business dinner or celebrating something. Food is Mexican upscale an very exquisite. They have original drinks and each dish is beautifully decorated. We ordered a Matcha Martini (can't even describe how good it was). For food we had the Crispy Calamari and Chicken Enchiladas. Perfect for sharing, delicate and it is a explosion of flavors in your mouth. Service is so outstanding, Mariah and Jesus were our servers. You get assigned two servers even being a party of two. Since entering the restaurant we were treated like VIP and everyone said Happy Anniversary to us. They had even read our special instructions of dietary restrictions (gluten and dairy free). At the end of our dining experience the Chef sent us a Dairy Free, Gluten free and Vegan dessert on the house to celebrate oour special day. It was such the perfect touch to end our dining experience. It was our first time here, we will definitely come back and reserve for a later time since the only thing we missed were the performers because they show up later at night.
