We started with the homemade chips, which were fresh, crunchy, and really yummy. I ordered the lengua, cabeza, and carne asada tacos on corn tortillas, and all three were absolutely delicious. The meats were tender, flavorful, and exactly what you hope for from a real taco shop. The green salsa on the table was especially good and worked perfectly on everything. The shrimp taco had a lot of shrimp, and was delicious. A bit pricier than other similar tacos, but I think it's worth it. The food here was really good! The portions are great, and the carne asada was tender. Service was also excellent. Shay was awesome, and it's clear the whole crew works really well together. I asked her do you charge for ice water and she told me no it's free so she gave me one. I mentioned this because earlier at Del taco they want to charge me the full price for an ice water as a soda or a Coke. I'll pass thank you. Who starts charging for water? What's up with that anyways I got the food. She gave me some salsa and I'm off to back to my hotel. This place has TERRIBLE customer service. My husband went in person and ordered 2 burritos con todo last night yet we in turn got burritos with meat and onion and cilantro. This for one NOT how the burrito usually comes and two not what we ordered. I have had this place in the past and it was good, but this time i was very disappointed with how disgusting this burrito was because it did not come with what it's supposed to come with. I called today to see what they could do for me, mind you not even 24 hours later and the lady on the phone says "why did you not call last night." She also said "if that's how you got your burrito that is how you ordered it" when simply the person ringing up the order misunderstood the order. Then she proceeds to ask us if we still have the food from last night and if we had it and the receipt then we could bring it in to the store which is across town for a refund. We were not asking for a complete refund just a credit for when we return for the bad experience that took place. She was very rude and disrespectful to which I told her they have lost a customer and to top off the interaction she said "That's fine." Who speaks to customers in this manner? I would rate this Los Tacos Location a 0! I I brought my mother through the drive-through to enjoy the food because I always have a great experience at the Charleston location. When I came to the Sahara location, we went through the drive-through and the worker got angry at me because HE couldn't speak English. I had a very easy order. He was angry because I told him he charged me for extra things that I didn't want and proceeded to ask me "mommy do you want the tacos or not?" It was a very nasty experience. The area is sketch, and the interior is dated, but they make up for it with the love they put into the food. Service is always friendly, and our food always comes out nice and hot. I was sold from the first bite of my mission style carne asada taco. Buttery beans, tasty carne asada, super fresh pico, guac, and sour cream- get in mah belly! The quesadillas are things that dreams are made of. Buttery, crispy tortilla stuffed with all of the cheese, meat, pico, sour cream, and guac that your heart desires. Top Tier. Nobody do a fully loaded asada taco like Los Tacos. I've been going to this location since 2016 and they have never failed me. They got me eating things that I wouldn't normally eat (avocado & pinto beans) but you really cannot go without those ingredients. Everything goes together beautifully. This is probably my favorite taco spot! So happy it was introduced to me. Hands down it's better than Tacos el Gordo which is next door. Everything I've had here is delicious...rice, beans, carne asada and lengua tacos! The service is impeccable! I usually will go through the drive-thru, which is so convenient and usually fast. The lady at the window is always so pleasant and welcoming. I've eaten inside the restaurant which is not modern, but always very clean. I look forward to eating here whenever I can. I used to love this place! I typically go eat there with my mom for lunch break and it's always been a great experience. Today I decided to go back and I had the worst experience there. I kindly asked the cashier if I could get my shrimp cocktail warmed and after almost half an hour of waiting for it, they served it to me scorching hot. I patiently waited 20 minutes before eating it and the first bite burned my tongue horribly. I went up to the front and asked the girl who was prepping the food if they could help me because I couldn't eat my food from how hot she made it. The same girl who rolled her eyes at me didn't bother packing it and the guy who was also working with her serving food decided to do anything but pack my food for a few minutes. I went here on April 15th. My petite burrito was $7.86. I gave the cashier in the drive thru $8.11 so that she would give me a quarter back. She told me I gave her the wrong amount, and I explained that I wanted 25 cents back. She gave me two dimes and a nickel for change. It is no longer the Los Tacos that it used to be before. My recent experience on 5/22 8pm was horrific to say the least. I will never go back nor recommend this place to anyone any more. I have been to Los Tacos a lot before COVID, My wife and I really loved the food here. The employees were friendly and I had no problem with ordering anything on the menu. However tonight, it was only me in the drive through. And it took 15 minutes for them to even let me start ordering food. I asked politely if they were still there and they rudely yelled back to "wait a second wait a second " though they were not busy at all, just talking and cleaning. When it was finally my turn, all the things (3 different items) that I wanted were sold out. They blatantly and proudly said "we don't have that" and didn't even say they were sorry. At that moment I was so frustrated and said nevermind Thank you I'll go to a different store. And the girl at the window laughed and ripped my order in front off me and sarcastically said have a good day. Sure, thank you los tacos for ruining my day.
