I just have to share that this Taco Time location in Woodinville is one of the best I've been to - eaten at. We moved to this area in the last few months and have been there probably 5 times - EVERY visit we have experienced the very best in customer service and quality of the food they serve. Today, in fact, I was helped by a new employee who needed help from another employee/manager - her name was Chris. She kindly and willingly helped him and in turn was extremely helpful and kind to me. I appreciated witnessing such a positive interaction with her helping him and in such a helpful, non condescending manner. I told her that we were fairly new to the area (Woodinville), and just had to tell her/them how much I appreciated the great service and thanked them. We are lifelong residents of Washington and therefore, have enjoyed Taco Time at many locations for many years - but again, this location stands out among them. I like Taco Time. We have it often from the Snohomish place. The quality of the food from Woodinville was the worst I've seen. All burritos and tacos were messy. The corn tortilla on the Baja tacos were shredded. A good portion of the beef on the burritos were on the outside of the tortilla. Most likely won't be back to this place. read more

The employees here are the best. They are very friendly and patient! The thing that makes these employees stand out is that they talk to you and express interest in your short conversation as if they have known you forever. I have never experienced anything like this in a drive thru. This is not Mexican food. It is Mexican-like food that is healthy and VERY TASTY. I also like the plethora of sauces they offer. I am a total sauce person so I love the many sauces to choose from and try! I love the pinto beans and rice- which come in a very generous portion, healthy and fresh, and easily spiced up with some hot sauce. Evidently The Woodinville, WA Taco Time Thinks Their Customers Are Idiots Today I picked up an Enchilada Beef Platter and a child-sized cheese quesadilla. Though I ate it immediately, after getting it, in their parking lot...all items were cold, clammy and not fresh at all...maybe leftovers from night before??? As for the portion sizes: There was maybe a tablespoon of rice and a tablespoon of fried beans. These were carefully spread out in the platter to cover a wider area; and, look like the normal portions as always before. The rice was spread so thin as to be one grain thick. The two beef enchiladas were maybe each the size of a small hot tamale. A few threads of finely shredded cheese could be seen sporadically drizzled. The beef inside was granulated like sawdust and tasted like it. There was maybe a teaspoon of sour cream spread on the middle of the enchiladas and less then ten tiny (~.25") pieces of tomato chips on top of that. This is a material decrease in serving size; and, should be so disclosed to customers before their purchases. I have been a years long customer of Taco Time restaurants; and, from the tiny servings sold to me today, I sadly report that, in my opinion, the pandemic driven economics of "shrinkflation" has now rendered Taco Time's portions of their platters unacceptable to me. The real insult, to me, is in not letting their customers know of the greatly reduced portion sizes upfront, rather than try to slide it by with cheap presentation tricks. Does Taco Time think their customers are idiots; or, that we should be unwittingly tricked into subsidizing their increased costs? Now in fairness the child-sized quesadilla was not downsized and though served cool was decent. Customer service was good...friendly. However, I will not return to hand over my hard-earned cash for such tiny servings. read more

Easy parking, clean restaurant, never crowded, and quick service. Taco Time was a regional Western fast food chain that's now international. The chain's food is a bit more expensive than some fast food options, but the quality seems better/fresher (more like real food). Some of the dine-in items are even served on actual plates (still with plastic flatware, so you won't be able to tunnel out). Woodinville's branch is always clean, roomy, and uncrowded. Parking is plentiful, and the food is consistently decent. It's a nice cool spot to stop in the Summer or for a quick bite before seeing a movie. If you're looking to fuel your tank quickly and easily with no-frills Anglo-Mexican it's a good option in Woodinville. read more

I was greeted warmly by Steven who was friendly, upbeat and accommodating to my special request. Steven took the time to personally ensure my food was properly prepared and it was an item not on the menu. Normally, I cannot eat the crispy fried burritos due to the cheese that is present in the mix. He made a soft burrito and fried it up for me. This normally doesn't seem like a big deal but I've never been able to have someone make it that way for me in the past. The restaurant was very clean and I've always had a great experience at this location. Crazy how much better this taco time is than the Bothell taco time. Food tastes better, staff is friendlier, they dont have a broken screen for 2+ years. I go to both and it is just consistently worth the drive into Woodinville. Bothell store frequently closes early, which is fine, but at least list your hours and stick to them, dont say 9 and then close at 8. Woodinville is open later and they dont mind if you show up right before closing. A+ Food wise this should be more like a 3/5 , as it is still fast food, but taco time NW is the best of fast food in my opinion. Just dont think of it as mexican food, it is its own thing. read more

First, I want to get out of the way that Taco Time is pretty solid. Generally, when you visit a Taco Time you get what you expect. This Woodinville location's food and preparation time are​ on point. What drags down the experience for me is this location's ultra drab dining room. This place is in dire need of a remodel. The colors, the horrible lighting, the smell, and the general dullness of the dining room makes it hard to spend time there. It seems like no matter where I sit there's always​ cold air blowing on me, too, it's bizarre! This location and the Totem Lake location suffer from this same malady. They are decent at the food (the ​most important part) but the dining rooms are just too depressing to enjoy. I think Taco Time really needs to step up because this place is not a value play, so the experience should be a lot, um, brighter overall. Taco Bell has figured this out, but yuck. The only other feedback for this location is when it's 40 minutes to closing time, don't take all of the hot sauce and ketchup away. At least leave one behind! Having to stand and ask for it when the team members are helping others is annoying. read more

But, the drive through experience at the Woodinville Taco Time is significantly worse than any Taco Time I've been too. If you order more than 5 items, they will almost certainly miss one. Meanwhile even if you order 15 items, they will try to cram it in one bag -- crushing items at the bottom and making it nearly impossible to check if you got everything. This has been true for years at this location and is clearly not about any specific crew. Its a management and training issue. read more

My son gets Baja fish tacos and I get the chicken tacos (dinners) other son gets the #1 with the Soft burrito? another person gets a casita burrito. I fill up the drinks and grab napkins and hot sauce. They give me the bag, I rush home. I ordered 2 tacos both with sour cream and off course neither had sour cream, tacos were cold I think they forgot to heat up the meat. I would like to report a theft by an employee as well as the mismanagement and total lack of professionalism by the shift lead at the Woodinville, WA location. This incident took place on 5/3/22 at 5:00-5:20pm. The employee who rang up my drive thru order and stole my debit/credit card is named Drew. After I left the drive thru and pulled into traffic I realized I didn't get my card back. I pulled over and double checked my wallet, purse, pockets, as well as all the little spaces in my car it could have slid on accident. I was thinking maybe I just didn't see him hand it to me or maybe it was put in the bag? Anyway, I checked all spaces my card could have gone and confirming I really did not have it I went back to the Woodinville Taco Time to retrieve it. When I walked in, I notified the employee at the counter I was just in the drive thru and I didn't get my card back. I saw Drew take off his apron and go to the back area by the bathrooms. I could hear the other employees talking about a card left on different days and how it wasn't a big deal if the employee hadn't given my card back. At this point I see the employee Drew walk back from the bathroom area. The the shift lead then comes up, he has purple hair and glasses, I wasn't given a name. He proceeded to tell me that "we don't have any credit card." So I double check "you don't have any card, not a yellow BECU card? Because I was literally just here 15 minutes ago, this is the last place I used it." He proceeded to get frustrated with me "well I don't have it! Unless an employee stole it then we don't have it!" At this point I realize I'm not getting my card back or receiving any amount of management accountability from this shift lead this situation. He continued to act like it's not a big deal my card has been stolen by an employee on his watch and asks me for my information to which I replied "don't waste my time." I turn to leave and with a very rude and snarky attitude he said "have a good day! If we find your card I guess..." I didn't hear the rest or bother to listen to any more of this person's terrible attitude. I have been going to Taco Time locations with my family for the last 30 years, but this will be the last time I ever set foot in any location, the management and staff on shift at the Woodinville, WA location during 5pm on 5/3/22 are absolutely appalling and reflect terribly on the Taco Time brand. I am sharing this experience publicly to warn others, hopefully something is done about the situation at that location. read more

Simply put, this place is awesome. The meals are filling, hot (temperature-wise), and ultra tasty. I get the beef soft taco kids meal, with crustos and Mr. Pibb, and it's the perfect meal for anytime of the day or night. It's really tasty, and friendly on the wallet. The service is pretty fast, and the interior is kept quite clean. It's a great place to bring the paper, or the kids, and have a great lunch. Whenever my grandparents come out, we always have to take them here. It's that good. For fast food, it's a little more on the expensive side, just a forewarning. It's about $7.50 a person, give or take. I'd recommend this place to anyone wanting a great meal at a decent price. read more

Okay, I almost never feel an urge to write about a fast food joint - much less give it 5 stars. And personally, I've always & I mean always loved Taco Bell. And I still do...but I can say with certainty I will always choose to go to Taco Time over Taco Bell if there is a choice. Here's the thing...I don't love most of their menu. And the few things that tasted okay to me were too high in fat & calories. I typically don't care about calories that much, but I was noticing my jeans were a little snug lately. I had been ordering kids meals until I looked up the nutrition & let's just say kids meal does not equal healthy meal (it's no wonder we have a child obesity problem). So I tried the white chicken chilli one day and it literally blew me away. It is so yummy and unlike most healthy foods, satisfying. And listen here you health nuts...low in fat, high in fiber, high in protein. Apparently made fresh everyday. I now visit Taco Time at least once a week and it's become a key part of my diet. On a side note, their website nutrition section is really well laid out. It's helped me create a light and tasty meal by allowing me to customize (I get my tacos with no cheese) and outputs the nutrition info for you. With Taco Time, I'll get rid of those few pounds without getting stuck eating salad all day. read more

I have tried the fish and beef tacos at this place and my first impression is that it is equivalent to Taco Bell. I am not a fan of fast food so this place was not good at all. The fish taco had a fish stick poorly prepared and a bunch of chopped cabbage, no sauce or anything else, the other fish taco had some white sauce on it. Why 3 stars? The variation in taste from visit to visit. Today the Mexi-Fries were not crisp. Kinda soggy. Kinda like seasoned tater-tots held on a hot plate too long. My Veggie Soft Taco was OK, not great. I really don't like the fancy new 1000-flavor soda machine. Most of the time, my Diet Coke tastes slighty like whatever added flaver was dispensed before it. I miss the finely crushed ice from the old days. It used to be a major reason why I went to a Taco Time. If your local store has the new mega-soda machine, this is no more. Sorry. Sniff. It's one of the better Taco Times. However the overall changes have resulted in my no longer being a weekly (even more often) customer. Instead, I go there and question why I did, afterwards. The staff is friendly and efficient. Sorry, but I'm not enjoying it any longer. And $8+ for a combo is a bit much. read more

As I cut fast food from my diet, Tacotime is the one place for when I want something cheap, quick and not completely horrible for my health (shhh, you didn't see me eat that sweet potato mexi-fry). Unlike the Kenmore location (don't go there, even if you're starving) the service has always been great. They are quick, friendly and get the job done.
